Yes! I'm done with the two doses of the Covid19 Vaccination. If you are wondering why it's because I'm one of those people who belong to the group of comorbidities. If you are wondering what's the group of people who have comorbidities they are the people who are more prone to acquiring the virus. They are the ones who have asthma, diabetes, hypertension, obese and other underlying diseases. What do I have to belong in that group? I have asthma. Yes, I have asthma ever since I was a kid. And that made me qualified to have the vaccine earlier than most people.
Had my first dose last April 8, 2021. The brand that was injected to me was CoronaVac (Sinova), and I got no other choice first because it was free from the government and second there's no other way to get it yet aside from having it the government's program through the Department of Health. Of course, there are other brands of the vaccine aside from Sinovac and they are the following:
Pfizer-BioNTech
Oxford-AstraZeneca
CoronaVac (Sinovac)
Gamaleya - Sputnik
Johnson and Johnson's Janssens
Bharat - Biotech
Wondering what's their differences from each other here's the link from the Department of Health that will tell you everything you want to know about the vaccine.

The vaccination site was well organized by the local government. Below is the process of how they do it at the vaccination area.
Registration
Here you will be given a form to fill up, the form consists of your name, birthday, age, address and it is also with a data privacy policy that you need to sign. After filling up the form you are going to submit that to the personnel who will record your name on their data sheet of Registrants for the day.
CHECKING OF VITAL SIGNS
The second part of the screening is the checking of your vital signs, This part is important and you need your vitals to be normal before you take the shot. What they monitor are your BP and your temperature. After checking your vitals you will be directed to the orientation.
Orientation
Here you are going to watch a video clip that will tell you why do you need to take the vaccine. What kind of vaccine you are receiving. What to do after the vaccine. and another form that you need to sign up for. This time it's a consent form, meaning you are giving them the consent to give you the shot. There will also be a question and answer portion after the video. After the orientation, you will be directed to another area which is the doctor's screening area.
Checking your medical history
This time, a doctor will talk to you and will interview you about your condition at that moment, if you have allergies. If you've been exposed to a covid patient for the last 14 days. If you get a prior vaccination and what it is. All their question is just to double-check if you are in a good condition to have the shot. So, don't try to lie if you are not in a good condition.
After checking your medical history you are now ready to take your shot. A doctor will administer the shot and voila! you got your first shot done!
After getting your shot you will receive a COVID 19 Vaccination Card.
After receiving the vaccination card of you go to the monitoring area again. They wil take your BP twice. 15 minutes after the shot and another checking after 30 minutes. There are cases that their BP shoots up after the shot just like what happened to me. But you don't have to worry because they will not let you go unless your BP normalizes again.
That's where taking your first dose end. You will have to go back after 28 days for your second shot. The process is almost the same. After taking your second shot you have to make sure to take extra care of yourself. Why? Because your immune is low during this time and only after a month that the vaccine will take its full effect.
Having the vaccine doesn't mean that you will have not covid19 anymore. And it also doesn't mean that you are free not to use all the protective gear. You will still have to use all the protective gear and you will still follow the social distancing rule. Why? because you can still acquire it. The only difference in having it is it will not be as fatal as it is without the vaccine. And for me, there is nothing to be afraid of having the vaccine. Everything happens for a reason. And if in case there is an adverse effect it only means that the vaccine is working, only in a different way.
And if you want to know more about the vaccines and the effects. The do's and don'ts before you take the vaccine, you can visit the Department Health Website.
