Miss Universe Beauty Pageant is what people keep busy at this time. Not only the female population but everyone, especially the Pride Group, and yes because Ms. Philippines candidate Rabiya Mateo is already out, so don't you ever dare go to the parlor at this time. It may be a big joke but better be safe than sorry. Why? because our dear talented and skilled gays who will attend to you may not be in their best mood at the moment. So, let's give them a day to rest and move on with what happened to our candidate.

Beauty is not just what we see with our naked eyes and as they say "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". I think that saying goes through for centuries already, and if I am not mistaken it started sometime around the 18th Century. Its meaning is real simple, it means that people have different opinions on what is beautiful. What is beautiful for you may not be the same as other people's. But what is beauty? Is it something that attracts you? Or you dig deeper before you see it?

I know for most of us Filipinos, we think Rabiya is so pretty and talented that we expect her to land on one of the top positions but not all of us have the same opinion especially the judges. And sadly, Judges' opinion matters.

How about you? how do you see beauty in a person? Is it on the way she talks or walks, or on the way she thinks, the way she carries herself, or on the way she dresses? Do you dig deeper to see the beauty or you see it with your naked eyes only?

I asked the people from noise.cash about this topic and here is what they say:

This is very true my friend, let's take a simple example. There are people who spend their lives looking for physical beauty in others, they want to have a partner who looks like a model, or a movie actor, but that is where we ask ourselves, what is the point of having a partner who is super beautiful, if inside is worse than Mr. Hitler, the physique passes, that is temporary, feelings, personality, attitude is not. I am not saying that the physique does not influence a little, but it cannot have all the weight, or control the balance, on the contrary, there are people that inside are so beautiful, so pure, their essence is fascinating, that is why beauty is relative, let's not see with our eyes, let's see with our heart and mind, and we will have a different perception, greetings.

Isn't what he says is so beautiful? Of course, Physical appearance will always have weight when it comes to beauty but if you will add a nice personality and attitude that will be a different level of beauty. A beauty that does not fade with time but only gets better as the days go by.

I agree with the proverb that beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. The world itself is the projection of ourselves. And when we see, we see by comparing our accumulated memories which we have been piling up from the time of our birth. Make matching with it, and give the value of our own to it. This is why some may like dark roses, some may don't like them. That's all depends upon the comparison process and imbuing our positions into the black rose. The beauty of the rose doesn't lie with it. But we project its value and see it as beautiful. This is why I agree with the point that beauty lies in the hand of the beholder.

Another different view on this matter, for him it is more on the projection of oneself with comparison on the value of it. Beauty really has a different value on every person

Of course, first ung appearance when it comes to appreciating beauty, personally I appreciate beauty in bits and pieces more than the whole package, I see how beautiful the eyes are, the protrusion of the nose, the beauty emanating from the lips and smile. That's the beauty for appearance, but that's only skin deep I also tend to appreciate beauty of the mind, I appreciate the intellectual being within a person.

This one appreciates first the beauty that captures his attention. Those every little detail that makes the person looks more attractive.

From Shizuka9

I appreciate personality more than beauty; depth more than the surface. 🥰 I think people are more beautiful when they care for others, and when they notice what's wrong and humbly rectify it. 🤗

I just loved how Shizuka9 appreciates beauty. It's deeper than what you can see on the surface. The kind of beauty that is not easily seen by the eyes.

You see, each and every one of us has a say on beauty. Each one of us has a different view on it. Honestly, I'm more attracted on a person's personality than to the physical appearance, Yes, I appreciate the beauty that we can see on the surface, but its gives me so much awe when the personality is more than beautiful from what you see from the outside.

What about you? How do you see beauty?

I find them beautiful, mapababae o lalaki pag meron silang ugaling aganda.
