“My 2020 Recap”

I know 2020 is not pleasant to all of us, all over the world because of the pandemic. Covid19 virus is formerly called Novel Corona Virus 2019 when it is not yet being studied novel means “new” and later turned into Covid19 after several studies. It started in Wuhan China before the year-end of 2019 and got widespread in 2020, March to be exact the World started to lockdown to prevent the massive spreading of the virus.

Due to the lockdown, many have lost their job, mostly establishments got closed especially that little business that caused to lessen the manpower, and many became unemployed. Saddening to those who have lost loved ones who died because of the virus.

Many events are canceled and classes became online. Online classes give headaches to both teachers and students especially those who are very unfortunate who cannot afford to participate in an online class because it needs gadgets and an Internet connection. In our country, we had a modular class option, so that those who cannot afford to participate in an online class can enroll and do not need to stop. But the learning system is not effective because parents will be the ones to teach or answer their activities and exams, especially the lower grades, college students can cope up but lower grades are not. Some parents especially the front liners cannot hug or hold their kids anymore just to make them safe.

2020 might be chaotic to many, I mean all of us but for me, 2020 is still great. Why? Because this year my partner got onboard after being declined many times on his application for almost 3 years. Before the widespread of the virus, he was able to have his flight in February 2020 and the lockdown implementation was March 2020, isn't it amazing? If he was not able to fly earlier we would be starving the whole year. Secondly, I was able to explore the crypto world, who would have thought that 2020 would be my gateway to crypto space and is very amazing. I've learned a lot in this crypto journey through this platform (read. cash). I had the chance to meet amazing people virtually, wherein discussing ideal topics is very productive for my learnings. 2020 is the gateway of opportunity for me and my partner's career, and it's great that this chaotic year will be a blessing for us.

2020 might be a nightmare to everyone but there are still things that we must be thankful for, especially we are healthy and alive, away from the virus then that would be a great thing to be thankful for, because as long as we live we still have hopes to hold to make our future brighter.

The year 2020 is not so pleasant but it's great that we surpassed it all and now we are in 2021, may this year be prosperous to all of us. Leaving 2020, I know most of us had many realizations being encountered. This year made us realize that saving for rainy days is a must so we can have something to put on the table when the rain comes. It made us realize that luxury things are useless when the world stops revolving. You cannot use your Lambo to stroll because of the restrictions of the pandemic safety protocols. You cannot use your expensive tickets for a Hollywood or Kpop concert because it was all canceled. That staying at home would be the safest haven. The only thing that matters is that our immune system must be strong, that we have enough food at the table, that we are healthy enough so our antibodies can fight against the virus if ever it hits us. Also, our psychological health so we can overcome every unpleasant thing that 2020 gave us.

May 2021 will be a good year for all of us, also in the crypto world so we will all be prosperous! Happy 2021! Stay safe!
