If you write because you want to be read then, I think you are in a wrong way of thinking not that wrong in a sense because who among us here write and doesn't want to be read? I think none. We all want our write-ups to have more views, likes and most of all comments, upvote is an extra bonus. But if we write because we after so much about readers and points (earnings) then, probably we will lose our motivation in writing if there comes a time when nobody bothers to open or read our blog/articles.
Keep writing - readers will come
Just keep writing, never mind so much about views or anything just write what you wanted to write. Readers will come, not all people who read your articles will leave a comment some of them are silent readers. You may never know, someone out there read your articles, silently learning from you, silently had fun reading your thoughts/works. I think no author exists that by writing a single article it was a 'hit' and had their way of being a famous author. They/we all started from scratch, but they had their way of fame by keep writing. Passion to write is a great motivation to keep us going not by being viewed and feedbacks from the readers, it was all an outcome to your hard work it can boost you to write more but should not be the sole purpose.
How to attract readers?
To attract readers, you should interact more with them. Leave relevant comments to their articles, they will be curious about you and read your works then. Do not flaunt your works to others, for example, "Nice article please view and like my article abskkdodmjskslmskldldkkdoshwo", some people will open it out of curiosity but mostly they will ignore it. It's not like you are selling something on the street, shouting and keep flaunting it. Keep your class, an author with a class who does not beg.
I write this because I was inspired when a certain user @bbang mentioned me in comments, not really me but my article about how to undo spammed comments referring it to her commenter who mistakenly spammed her comments, it was my first encounter to her. She said she was a silent reader to some of my articles, saying it was helpful. I then realized that there are some people who read your articles silently, without your notice. So keep writing, readers will come and always be motivated. Thanks @bbang and nice to meet you!
I agree with you. I'm new in readcash. I want to learn a lot in your articles. :)
