Hello dear friends of read.cash, I hope to meet and share part of my life with you, do not take it wrong, I like to meet new people and above all learn a little of them, today I will share with you one of many moments of what I like to do or more than like something that I am passionate about.
Being able to travel and meet new places, new people and also new experiences could be described as one of the best lifestyles for someone like me, since I was a little girl my father taught me that there is nothing better than knowing, when you visit different places and learn new things, you are sharing your time in something that makes a lot of sense.
Today was one of those days that I would like to repeat, when you are my age you feel fulfilled and doing what you like most which is to know, you can't ask for anything more, the level of satisfaction is very high and to be able to feel completely fulfilled is even more wonderful. Today I visited a beautiful place near my village, called pradadero, a wonderful place full of abundant and colourful vegetation, if you look closely at the photo you can appreciate the beautiful view, the colours of the lake and the plants. In addition to the most beautiful thing in the photo, which is me.
On this day I was not alone either, I had one of the best companions, my sister. Although she is not a blood sister I feel her as one, I hurt like one and I enjoy her as only a brother can enjoy. That great road that you can see in the photo is the road to Happiness, it is also worth noting that to get to this place we had to travel almost 15 km, it seems little but the mountains are very steep. It takes about 2 hours to reach the highest point of the mountain, you have to make several stops to be able to rest and continue ahead.
The climate is quite humid and the flora here is colourful, there is a high variety of exotic plants that are only common in this kind of places because they are humid and temperate most of the time. On the other hand, the road on which I cycle is well maintained and clean, I can't complain because it helps me to have a better control of the rhythm and not to get so tired.
Something that I like too much is to know, if visiting places like this helps you to enjoy and disconnect from the world, to me it does that and much more, I am a woman who most of her days are busy working and without time to rest or take a day off. In view of not being able to enjoy a quiet moment, when I have the opportunity to travel and visit new places then I do it and go out and enjoy myself.
I had been trying to go to this beautiful mountain for about 3 years but it really wasn't easy, as I mentioned before I have to be very consistent in the job I have and the job I have to take care of.
"Many times we need to get out of the city, connect with nature and then connect again".
At this point we were already feeling the tiredness in the body but it is worth every moment, this picture was spectacular, my friend and travel companion and I were resting and then we were arriving to a fishing port, the place was fantastic, a great view.
Whenever I travel I like to be able to take lots of photos, I always want to have a memory and that my grandchildren can observe and enjoy the adventures of their grandmother, although I am already a grandmother I don't feel like one, I have a lot of vitality and desire to continue travelling to different places.
"Travelling makes me feel free, travelling on my bike makes me feel alive and when you meet new places and people you learn one thing, no matter where we are, humility makes us great and helps us to have more communication with other people".
This is what I mean, we arrived at a village that is located in the high part of the mountain, they are nomadic people who live there, they go to the city, mostly by water, it is easier and much faster, the way they live makes you remember how life was many years ago, they have no electricity, no telephone signal, living disconnected from technology and dedicating themselves to agriculture and other things that the women here do is the basis for these people to have such a good culture.
We were able to share a little with them, at first they were shy and shy and did not want to approach us, but after several attempts they decided to meet us. The time we spent with this person was valuable, to know the way they live their cultures and lifestyles are so different from ours, although this does not mean that we are not the same, the way of being is the same, the same language. On the other hand, I was struck by the fact that these people only live from the house, fishing and sowing what they sow themselves, they have a kind of house where they meet and discuss all the things that the people need, that is to say, they present their concerns as in a kind of meeting.
When I see children in this kind of places the first thing I imagine is the freedom they must feel living there, children are almost always very restless but children who live in open places do not suffer so much because they have many places to go and to be distracted, also they grow up in an environment without technology, I can not say that it is totally good, maybe it is necessary to be communicated and also to know a little of the advances of the world, the truth is that these people do not suffer so much for not knowing basically what happens in the whole world.
Joaquin and Daniel two little friends we met, they are adorable kids, I wanted to talk to them a bit, they both study, they told us that they have to walk to the other village to be able to see classes, normally it takes them 45min to get there, so it is a bit far for people who walk, on the other hand, Joaquin says they use transports like the mule as they are resistant and can last much longer than a traditional horse.
Daniel also talked a bit with us, he told me that they don't have any kind of technology, when it is 7 pm they are already in bed waiting for sleep, this is how things have always worked, Daniel says that he wants to be like his father a woodcutter who has been working as a carpenter for more than 20 years, he is proud of him and wants to be just like him.
The greatest happiness of my travels is that I feel free, there are no ties and above all I am myself, I love to share with my friend and live new experiences. Maybe it is the only thing that I will take with me in my life, all the places I met, besides the people, each one has a place in my heart.
When it comes to identifying myself, I could say that I am a free woman, I like to get to know new places, new people and live the unique and incomparable experience. I don't care what people think about me, maybe they can say so many things, the important thing is how I feel about myself. All my life I have been looking for something without knowing what it is, maybe it has no form, maybe it has no name, maybe what I am looking for does not even exist in this world or maybe what I am looking for is not very far from me, maybe it is inside me, it could be so many things that maybe it is none, my life is not complex, I like easy things like having a coffee and sitting down to watch the sunrise.
