Our body is an empty canvas...

Do you believe in the saying “Your body is an empty canvas, so decorate it”?

We have different views about our bodies so whether you believe in that saying or not, I respect your answer.

But what kind of decorating is that mean in the quote? That is the tattoo and piercing.

I know that others don't want to get a tattoo because they believe that once you get a tattoo, your blood will be contaminated. Do you believe that? Sometimes tattoos can be a barrier to getting a job, yes there are jobs that do not accept people with tattoos. And another, tattoo is permanent that you can’t just simply remove. There is a way now to get rid of your tattoo in case you don't want it anymore but you will still spend money to get rid of it completely.

But do you also believe that “Tattoo is an Art”? I certainly believe that because tattoos are really a form of art.

Many people believe in that also. That is why they get tattoos on different parts of their body because they believe that when you do that, it is as if you are putting art on your skin and your body. And they believe that their skin looks better when they have a tattoo, it looks better because the skin has a design, your skin and body looks more unique especially if your tattoos are also unique.

What about piercing?

Piercings not only be applied to the ear now, but it can also be applied to the navel, eyebrows, nose, tongue or any other part of the body you want.

But are you also in favor of calling the piercing an art? Hmm, for me it's a yes because it also adds beauty to our body.

Others put piercings on their different bodies because they think it also gives beauty to their body, it is attractive, and sometimes it makes them feel that they look cool.

But there are other people who are disgusted or dislike people who put piercings, especially those on the body part such as the tongue and navel and those in the private part.

But sometimes piercing is also done by other people because it is really part of their culture. Similarly, tattooing is sometimes part of a person's religious beliefs.

Tattoos and piercings reflect a person’s personality. It seems that this is their way of expressing themselves, what they have in mind, and what kind of person they are.

For me it’s not bad to get tattoos and get piercings on simple people like us as long as you really like it and you won’t regret it in the end, especially putting a tattoo on the body. Before putting it in your body you need to think about it first and you also need to think carefully, if you are still a minor, of course you need to first ask permission from your parents. And if posssible, the minors should not put this in their bodies in a young age because its a serious thing.

But no matter what we do, there are people who are really do not like of such ideas (get a tattoo and get a piercing) but no matter what they say, the final decision is still up to you. There is nothing that other people can say about what you do to your body because its your body so its your rules.

It suddenly occurred to me to write an article about it because I saw a post earlier on my social media feed that caught my interest so I thought of writing about it, on tattoos and piercings and all of a sudden I wrote it so all I can think about is what I put here in this article.
