Unidentified flying objects appear round the airspace over Miyagi Prefecture, Japan
According to the media, residents reported that'white objects are flying over the sky' in various areas in Miyagi Prefecture, including Sendai City, from around 5 am on that day.
Residents were reported to have filed complaints with the police, such as "What is the identity of the flying object?"
Police contacted the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport or the Korea Meteorological Administration, but could not confirm details such as who was blown, NHK said.
The police sent a helicopter to investigate that the flying object had a white sphere shape, two white cross-shaped propellers below it, and was flying about 1500m above the ground.
Saito Akinori, a resident who discovered the object in Natori City at around 8 am, took a photo and reported it to NHK, saying, "I was surprised because there was a strong wind in the field, but the white object was almost stationary."
According to the Sendai Airport Office of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the aircraft continued to move to the east, headed to the Pacific Ocean at about noon, and it is now unknown where it is.
