Let's talk about Vitamins...
Vitamins are organic molecule that are essential micronutrient which is needed in small quantities for the proper functioning of its metabolism. There are two types of Vitamins:
Water-soluble vitamins
Water-soluble vitamins travel freely through the body, and excess amounts usually are excreted by the kidneys. The body needs water-soluble vitamins in frequent, small amount. The water soluble vitamins are:
Thiamine (vitamin B1)
Riboflavin (vitamin B2)
Niacin (vitamin B3)
Pantothenic acid
Biotin
Pyridoxine (vitamin B6)
Folic acid
Cobalamin (vitamin B12)
Ascorbic acid (vitamin C)
Fat-soluble Vitamins
Fat-soluble vitamins are stored in the body's cells and are not excreted as easily as water-soluble vitamins. You don't need to consume fat-soluble as much as water-soluble vitamins. The fat soluble vitamins are:
Vitamin A
Vitamin D
Vitamin E
Vitamin K
