Fridgo-Phobia Part-2
Hello Lovelies!!!
I hope you all are fit and fine both mentally and physically let's dive into today's topic without wasting your time. If you remember then let me tell you thst i wrote Part-1 of this article long ago so today i want to continue that article as part-2.I have already told about some foods which can not survive in fridge and prefer to stay remain at room temperature. So, here are more foods which like room temperature more than fridge.
1. Banana
It is one of the most common and cheap fruit you have even eat. Fruit you have already know that bananas need room temperature as the warm temperature help the fruit finish nipening of any ease you pick them up when they are green and the reason is the warm fresh temperature and the fresh air, light slow down delay so that you can enjoy your favourite fruit for long time. If you put your beloved banana to warm temperature it's help banana to complete the cycle where a raw banana turn into a ripe one.
In a fridge if you put a banana, while completing this process then the ripen process can hault, the skin may also turn black because of the impact. The temperature has on the cell cell walls of the banana and i know no one want a black half-raw half-ripen banana.
2. Basil
Basil or "Tulsi " whatever you call. The magical and healing power it contains will never fade away because of this. Usually Basil leaves helps us to get rid of cold and other diseases related to cold. If you think the picked basil leaves will remain fresh then you are totally wrong as basil plant hates fridge. The moment you put your basil leaves in the fridge it is the exact moment it will begin to wilt within a mintue so if you want fresh basil leaves for a long time then try store it in a pot with a few inches of water in room temperature.
3. Avocado
Personally i hate avocados but there are lots of people whose favourite fruit is avocados so for them let me tell one thing if you think your fridge can keep your beloved avocados fresh and juicy for long time then it's not possible in any way as Avocados hates fridge. Those avocados you have picked unripe should be kept well far away from the fridge and in room temperature.
The cool temperature can delay the ripening process. You should not put any unripe avocados in the fridge but on the contrary you can put ripe avocados in fridge untill you want to eat them.
4. Potatoes
For the Asian potatoes is an necessary as rice (at least for me). For this reason just like rice grains we love store potatoes to without knowing. We are doing wrong thing fro years or century.
So what happened when you put potatoes in the fridge ,the starch present in potatoes start to convert to sugar cause. I know no one would like to eat this kind of potatoes which cause an unpleasant sugary taste and dis-coloured. So we should buy fresh potatoes in the quantity which we can use in a day instead of storing.
5. Onion
When it comes to onions then one must keep onions far away from fridge as when you put onions in the fridge it start to absorb moisture which can make them damp and soggy. As onions contain little bit starch too so if you put onions in the fridge for a long time then the moisture and cool temperature of the fridge can ruin it. The worst thing a onion can do is to spread their pungent odor on the food in your fridge.
