Christians: Should we Judge others?

There was a man who always complained of the bad state in which the road he always used from his house was. The road had quite a lot of potholes, small and big ones. Of all the potholes, there was one specific one which was just near the corner of his street. He always had to swerve past it in disgust. This went on for a long time, and nothing was seemingly coming up to mend these potholes. The man got so used with this particular pothole, that he could go past it with his eyes closed.

One day when he was going for work he gave a neighbour a lift, since they were going in the same direction. As usual, when he reached the pothole he swerved past it. This happened for some days, until his neighbour asked as to why he would always swerve just at the same point. His response was, because of the terrible pothole that was there. The neighbour laughed and told him, that actually that pothole was mended three years ago. The man was surprised, that it took three years to realise that the potholes were cleared.

Three years is a longtime to realise that change had taken place, but we do the same as Christians. We have most of our friends, who had bad behaviors, and we always condemned them. We Judge them, and we always know how deep they are imbedded in that behaviour or rather sin.

God is forgiving, no matter the intensity of the sin. We sometimes, if not all the times, judge people who God has mended and made whole. It is important as Christians to not remind or remember the sins of others. The best is, inasmuch as we can't tolerate sin, to forgive and pray for our friends who may have lost track.

We can also see that no matter what we do or say, when someone is forgiven, indeed they are forgiven. The best we can do is encourage them in their new path.

With Christ on our side we shall not judge, but we will always strive to do good, and follow his commandment of "love".

I hope you had a nice read.

An interesting story although I have doubts about this man his awareness. Sounds like a dangerous driver to me. Roads, traffic is never the same neither are people.

I did have a good read. I am hoping to read more of your experiences as a Christian too. You gave a good story for an example there.
