There is question not all agriculturist may answer by just their own. And that was the "what is the difference of Mabisa and Effective?". Could you guess the right answer? Or not read the answer here.
It was from my third-year college when our professor for Entomology (Study of insect) asks the deep question. Which we began to wonder like "huh? Mabisa is Filipino translated word from effective."
So someone says the answer is "Mabisa is the Filipino word of Effective, and Effective is English word for mabisa". Everyone laughs including me, even our professor. We though yeah, its he’s joke or something but it wasn’t.

Mabisa Vs Effective
In Insecticide application, some chemicals are mabisa but not effective.
Which mean Mabisa to insect pest but not effective in land field. Which is possible. Why? Its because of insect adaptability and mutation process of insects. That is what I discussed on my previous chapter of Eunoia: HybridX.
So Chemical Manufacturer are adding other chemicals to make the product much effective. That is what we called innovation process.
Through research and development, they change the product label, content, and even the range capacity to kill some weed nor insect pest.
This is actually a problem I seen to those farmers who can’t read and even write. They been trick, because they actually just believed on what they experience so far, so they prefer to purchased product they already knew than the new product which is alien to them.
If you know some farmers maybe you can help them by at least pass my message to them.
Because they stuck on their belief and ignored the new. The product they buying right now is Mabisa to kill pest but not effective anymore to their land.
Effective but not Mabisa
This is contradicted to first topic. The product is effective as they could use and they prove effective but no clinical test that prove it mabisa.
Well the issue about the Ivermectin, which some people claimed that this product is effective. And yes, As I am Agriculturist, I seen this product as effective to animal livestock to control parasite inside. But I don’t see it is mabisa to me inside my body.
Because animals have immune with toxicity they get into the field, which were not. Digestion process of the animal’s body is different from us, especially ruminant animals. (Those with four stomach to digest inside its body)
Effective and Mabisa
This is only be labelled by a processional researcher with proven evidence that this product is Mabisa and Effective.
As for the issue of vaccine, which some people proved that this vaccine manufactured is Mabisa as human shield barrier and effective to prevent the virus. Or not, maybe this vaccine is Mabisa to prevent illness from a virus but not effective to corona virus or effective to corona virus but not mabisa to human, that will harm the human body itself. We don’t know. But we now know the difference of Mabisa and effective.
Maybe you got confused on my discussion, so I advised to read it on a second time so you will receive the main goal and story.
Mabisa Vs. Effective Vs. Eunoia
This article is actually a one stone catches 3 birds.
Farmers (mostly old farmers) they don’t want to adopt new technology that they just believed on their experience. Which lead them to greater loss. Their pesticide is effective to kill insect but not mabisa anymore to kill the insect in the field. Because they mutate or they already adopt.
Ivermectin (some say this is a cure for the virus). It’s may mabisa to animals but not yet proven to be effective to humans.
Vaccine, which may Effective to virus and mabisa to human.
