Chemical burns in the eye.
Chemicals in form of acid, petrol, pesticides can accidentally come in contact with the eyes. Either through splashing or rubbing your eyes with contaminated hands.
Emergency Remedy: Flood the eyes over a running clean water. Flood it till you fill the eyes have been cleared from that chemical.
Menstrual Pain
Often times some ladies feel pain in their lower abdomen whenever its that time of the month. Its a sharp or biting pain that comes with a lot of discomfort. Which worsens when sugar containing food is taken.
Remedy: Stay away from sugar or sweet food during your menstrual period. Do not lie in bed and moan the pain. Walking around and taking little exercises helps to nub the pain. Taking warm drinks and putting your feet into warm water, this helps to ease off the pain. Taking pain reliefs also goes along way to numb off the abdominal pains.
Sore throat
This is a common symptom of cold, the throat feels dry and inflamed(redness), it feels painful during swallowing. The sore is usually caused by bacterial infection.
Remedy: Gargle with very warm salt water (non hypertensive people only). Take aspirin (non ulcer people only) or any other pain relief. If the sore throat persist after 7days then see a pharmacist or doctor.
Diarrhea
Runny stomach, can make us lose a lot of strength and energy. The stooling can persist for days.
Remedy: Make Rehydration drink, with water, salt and sugar. Make this in 1litre of water, take to regain strength and stamina. This will hold you till you get to see a Pharmacist.
Colds and flu
Colds and flu are common virus infection that may cause runny nose, cough and fever. Colds and flu always go away without the use of Medicine.
Remedy: Drink plenty of water and get enough sleep. Analgesics can help ease off the pain and fever caused by the flu. Fruits and vitamin containing food builds the immune system.
If the symptoms of all these still persist, rush to the hospital. So you can remain healthy and strong.
