Tough times are trying times in one's life. That time/period that life looks difficult. Things do not move in the right direction and everything will seem like there's a fault in your Stars.
It always a trying time for so many persons. It is that time we either get depressed or feel a less worth of ourselves. Depending on how you handle difficult times.
Everyone has had a taste of hard times. If you've ever been:
Sent out of high school for late payment of tuition fees?
Divorced your spouse because of incessant issues?
Got sacked from your workplace by your boss because you left work early?
Lost a business deal , or long due promotion?
Lost a close friend or family?
Been attacked by hoodlums?
Had an accident or fell ill while preparing for an exam or presentation?
The list goes on and on. If your answers to most of these questions were yes, then you've suffered a tough or hard time.
Tough times are periods when everything seems to be stagnant. Nothing works for your favour. It sometimes leads to breakdown of the body because it is unhealthy for us, humans.
How do you handle hard times?
Do you:
Pray and fast?
Sleep it off?
Go clubbing ?
Drink to wear it off?
Smoke to calm your nerves down?
Sob and cry?
Laugh and forget that hard times exist?
Get depressed and wish to die?
Travel and forget your sorrows?
Which ever way you choose to handle hard times, always remember that you are not the only one that goes through hard times. Even the President of the USA faces hard times of which he handles in his own way and life goes on.
Jesus also faced hard times on earth, when he was tempted by satan and crucified by Potious Pilate. If Jesus faced hard times and still survived it, then we can also survive our hard times.
Tough/hard times are there to test our perseverance, tolerance and our faith.
Embrace tough times and turn it into something beautiful.
You get sacked from work, don't get depressed, a better job is waiting for you.
You get a divorce from spouse. Who said you are too old to marry again. This is God giving you a second chance.
Always see hard times as an opportunity to make things right. A second chance to get a new job , new friends, deals and so on.
Remember tough times are not there to stay, they are only temporary and just a phase in one's life.
