Is it just me who think MBA is so worthless that it was kind of a degree created to connect the business with upper class people? I see a lot of MBA people unemployed in post COVID times. They can't do anything except being extrovert to close the deals with rich people or customers in B2B. And that is taken away from them. Now they are unemployed like the people who used to be employed in talk show audience for claps and laughs. Education system and hierarchy based life around the world, it needs to fix useless degrees which don't add value in crisis.

You’re right it’s all about nepotism, the only way to curb this bullshit is to use hard money! MBAs don’t realize how useless they are because the degree gets them closer to the money printer that’s it
if they are providing real value with their MBA, then it would be obvious and they'd be retained somewhere. but i agree that the true value more often than not seems to be connections and class considerations.

I professionally coach high level business people complete with their MBAs and while there is method all too frequently intuition and a real feel is missing. Continuous Improvement doesnt need jargonising with corporate BS and concepts such as staff retention should come naturally. Incidentally I said that bosses should look after their staff 10 years before Richard Branson said it - only I dont have his profile!
