One of the clients that invited me for an interview messaged me this afternoon asking if I was still willing to take the job. I told him I would review the original job posting first because it had been a while, and I already forgot what the job was about. I couldn't find the post, but after looking for some time, I realized the job was already closed. I guess the freelancer he hired didn't work on the page, or he withdrew the job from that freelancer. Either way, I am glad he messaged me. After we discussed the Wikipedia page, he probably checked my profile and saw that I was also into writing. He then asked me about my rate, and honestly, I said I didn't know how much to rate myself. He then offered me $20 for a 1000-word article. I think it's a great deal to think I started 200 PHP before. Sometimes it's not the rate that matters; it's the stability. He hasn't sent me the contract, but I hope he will. This will be 2 birds with 1 stone. Wish me luck.

Kalanchoes are succulents often grown for their tiny, colorful flowers. The best known are Kalanchoe blossfeldiana, also known as flaming Katy, panda plant or widow's thrill. They are popular houseplants grown for their brightly colored flowers in shades of red, magenta, yellow, orange, and white. This Kalanchoe is a succulent plant, native to the island of Madagascar, which is covered in bloom with flowers with single or double layers of petals. The 4-8 cm long leaves are dark green, glossy, oval, slightly serrated, carried by a long petiole.

Ohhhh those colors and that sun peeking through it all. As we were driving through the park to go to our next location I just so happened to glance over at the row of pine trees to see the sun in the most PERFECT spot. I literally slammed on my brakes and parked the truck! We must shoot here!! And it definitely didn't disappoint. We took advantage of some beautiful Autumn colors that hung on a bit longer than the rest for Jessica and Nathan's engagement session. I was happy with the gorgeous location they chose. I've never been to Proud Lake. I definitely plan on going back.

What a busy day!! Train to London, then the Underground to The Monument, Pudding Lane, St Pauls Cathedral, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, The Guards Chapel, Buckingham Palace, St James Park, St James Palace, Trafalgar Square, Pizza Express in Covent Garden for lunch, the new Elizabeth Line to Canary Wharf, DLR to Cable Car, Cable Car over the river, boat back to Tower Bridge and Tower of London, short walk back to Fenchurch Street Station, train back Thurrock, MacDonalds for tea and then back to the hotel and all tucked up in bed!! A wonderfully busy day with my two most amazing friends who made me so proud. A whirlwind tour of London made so great by such lovely behaviour all day long!!! It’s days like this that makes being me so truly special!!

My moto has been in Europe for two years, occasionally I got to ride it to some cool places and countries, but because the Schengen regulations riding and time in Europe has been limited (google is your friend if you don’t understand). The moto is now in a container, on a truck, headed to a ship, headed to a new continent. The weather's turning colder but don't we live in paradise? Every day we marvel at the beauty that surrounds us and count our blessings to be part of this place, this town, and this community. Thanks to all our volunteers and a special shout out to our wonderful dishwasher, Pochi, who for years has driven every week from Concord VT to help out. His presence is special to The Crew and he won't be with us this week due to a recent fall that injured his shoulder and arm. We wish him a speedy recovery!
