The surrealist artist has impressed me with only one of his works: "Indecision", with which I have understood the nausea that the human being can experience just before the disaster...

I recently saw a publication in Noise.cash that showed a painting by this extraordinary contemporary painter; full of black humor, that makes us smile and scares us at the same time.

It was one of those rare scenarios created that only those who handle irony very well and elegantly, can transmit them to us without blinking an eye.

In it, disaster was imminent; and the single word that defined the play, "indecision", was an insult to the normal biological impulses of the human body; for while, in the scene, the escape was not happening, it did not seem that it was going to happen.

Searching, I came across other cold scenes where one senses that disaster is about to happen -as in Venezuela many times, perhaps every day-, a feeling very familiar to me; heavy and difficult to carry.

And although it is not a sensation that ordinary people get to have as it is in the daily life of my country; this painter manages to make it feel and transmit; to that small fear in the pit of the stomach that a tornado, in the middle of a carelessness, can carry and turn into something really strong and painful.

Brosio plays with the surrealism, which, although it is not magical as in the literature of GABO or Allende, tries to give us details of the personality of the protagonists of the scenes, as if they were actors in Tim Burton's films.

A moment of waiting with the number in hand in Beetlejuice; the carelessness of a child falling into a river of chocolate in Charlie and the Factory; a painter looking exalted at her abusive husband in Big Eyes; a tornado serving as a background in a pose with a gleaming smile in a work by John.

This is not intended to be an analysis of his work; it is just a brief invitation to the leisure to go to his web pages, to any page that shows his work, and meditate on what you see and feel.
