Life Then and Now as a kid
We all had our different generations, different experiences, and different eras, and we all think our generation is the best among the rest, there are many changes from the past up to the present, and we always find ways to enjoy ourselves, I'm already in mid '20s but I still remember how nice and simple life back then within my childhood life
Going outside the house, going to our favorite tree with many branches to climb on, waiting for my friends from my neighborhood to come outside, play slipper games, I missed playing outside, and doing physical activities.

Bahay Kubo : there are games we commonly play outside, we don't care how stinky and sweaty we are all throughout the day, and back then we don't have fancy toys ginormous things, by just using a pair of slippers form it a standing structure and within 6 meters using a slipper, the opposing team needs to hit the standing slippers and run, evade to get hit by slipper to the other teams, while trying to assemble the slipper back to its standing state without being hit by the thrown slipper.

Agawan base: One of the most interesting and tiring games we always play back then, there are two bases for each them, mostly we divide every team those kids whom we know a good runner to make the team balance haha, the goal is to tag all members of the opposing team without being tag by them, once you tag someone, they held prisoner to your base while spreading their hands waiting to be tag with their own teammates for them to set free and continue the battle, There are usually set points, such as the first team to tag the other team 5 times wins. You can tag other people who has touched their base before you and are on the opposite team. If they've touched their base after you've touched your base, they can tag you, and you can't tag them.
Tago tago an: also known as hide and seek in america, this is somewhat unique game counting from one to fifthy, we need to hide the best as we can, to avoid being seen by the seeker, the most challenging part if when the seeker is always in near radius on the base , finding it hard to tag the base to be safe from the seeker haahhaha this game is played by kids , one of the most popular game its been played by different countries.
Tumbang preso is a popular filipino traditional game, classic game using a single Can of your choice this game requires 3 or more players, each player is provided with their own slippers, use to throw and hit the stationary Can, players stand at the throwing line. They take turns throwing their thrower slipper at the empty tin, trying to knock it down. As soon as the can is knocked down, the prisoner must put back the tin in upright position before he can tag the any of the players attempting to recover their thrower slipper. If the thrower slipper becomes too close to the tin in an upright position, so that the prisoner can step on both with one foot, the owner of the thrower slipper becomes the new "prisoner". The prisoner can also tag the players while recovering their "thrower slipper outside the throwing line.
Now kids don't usually interact with their neighborhood instead playing indoors holding their phones throughout the day, the only rest is when they eat or when they need to use the comfort room, they may think its one of the happiest part of the day but I always told them that playing outside with friends is much enjoyable than holding phone playing online games.
Waah i remember my childhood 😊
