I've been with you for a while. Writing my articles on a daily basis, I share with you sometimes beautiful and sometimes ugly things about the world. After all, the world is not just about beauty.

In my article yesterday, I mentioned that global warming is increasing and that difficult days are waiting for us in the future.

Let's talk about how animals and plants in the world live in harmony with the planet today. I wish you an interesting and happy reading experience.

World Adaptation of Living Beings

The following dialogue took place between the baby camel and its mother:

Baby- Mommy, why are our feet so big? I looked at the feet of other animals and noticed that they were not as big as ours.

Mom- We have big feet so that we can walk comfortably on the sands of the desert. If we didn't have big feet, we would sink into the sand walking in the desert.

Baby- Well, mommy why do we have so many eyelashes and why are they so long?

Mom- My little boy, if our eyelashes weren't so long and so many, when a storm broke out in the desert, we would get sand in our eyes and we wouldn't be able to find our way.

The mother camel was very happy that her cub was so curious and said that she could ask him as many questions as he wanted.

Baby- Mommy, why do we have humps?

Mom- Baby, we store fat in our humps. Thanks to this oil, we can make long desert journeys without difficulty because the fat in our humps gives us energy.

It is important for camels to have big feet, humps and long bushy eyelashes in order to adapt to the desert environment in which they live. These characteristics of living things are passed from generation to generation and enable them to constantly adapt to the environment in which they live.

Yes, just as camels can adapt to desert life thanks to their physical features, polar bears can adapt to polar life, which has a climate opposite to the desert, thanks to their physical characteristics.

Adaptation of Different Animal and Plant Species

Polar bears have white fur, which allows them to hunt their prey undetected in the snow-covered poles. Thanks to these features, polar bears can easily hunt and survive by meeting their nutritional needs. Also, polar bears have a thick layer of fat under their skin. Thanks to this layer of fat, polar bears can easily maintain their body temperature because fat is a good heat insulator. In addition, polar bears have short legs and very wide soles. These features allow them to move without sinking into the snow.

Animals such as the penguin and arctic fox that live in boxes have similar characteristics. They also have thick layers of fat under the skin. Penguins can move fast on snow and ice because their feet are webbed. In addition, the fur of the arctic fox is white, making it easy to hunt.

These environmental adaptation features seen in living things are not limited to animals. Plants have different characteristics depending on the environment in which they grow.

For example, plants growing near water have large leaves, but plants growing in arid areas have small leaves. Plants near the water can throw out the excess water in their bodies with their large leaves. Arid climate plants, on the other hand, can prevent water loss with their small leaves.

Ducks, which are among the animals that live together with water, also have webbed feet. This ensures that the ducks are good swimmers, while not sinking on soft ground on land.

The lotus flower has a unique feature in the world, such as living on water. Also, the lotus flower has very large leaves. Thanks to these large leaves, the lotus flower can expel the excess water in its body through perspiration.

Cacti, which generally grow in arid regions such as deserts, have narrow leaves on the contrary to lotus flowers. The leaves of the cactus are both narrow and short. Short and narrow leaves reduce water loss and help the cactus adapt to the environment in an arid environment such as a desert.

The color of a grasshopper species living in meadows is green. Thanks to the green leafy plants in the area where it lives, it can hide from predatory birds that want to eat it.

As you can see, living things on earth have the necessary equipment to adapt to their environment. They accept these features and continue to live in the environment they are compatible with.

Have you ever seen a polar bear trying to live in the desert or a camel going out to live in the poles?

You cannot see such a thing because it is not possible. Only humans can exhibit such behavior. Instead of adapting to the environment we are in, we try to change the characteristics of that environment according to ourselves. This makes us the most wild and dangerous animal in the world.

All we have to do is adapt properly to our world.

You do not think so?
