Hello guys, there are so many things that people say or we hear about the phone, which we might know but not take it as but some of these are not true... There are so many I think, but for now, I will be talking on 5 of these

Dimming screen brightness helps sight

So many of us believe the fact that dimming your phone's screen brightness helps your sight, but I am telling you that that's not true, it is only true when you do that at night when everywhere is dark and the brightness of you screen is too much

Rather than help your sight, it will damage it... How? When you dim the screen especially during the day time, you strain your eyes to see what is on the screen and this can also lead to a headache. So instead of dimming phone brightness, leave it on the ideal screen brightness which blends with the light around you and this is okay for your eyes

Charging your phone overnight will damage its battery

Well this is also a myth, some people might say this is true, but charging your phone overnight does not damage its battery

Our phones are termed 'smart' for a reason and among the smart functions is that ability of the phone to detect or recognize that its battery is fully charged and at once it stops incoming current at once, without your assistance... How will the battery get damaged... What really damages the battery is when you allow it to drain to 0% too often

Close the apps that are not in use, to save battery life

Many of us will actually agree with the above statement, it seems very logical and you may actually think that the more apps running, the more the work for the phone and then more battery life used... But no that is not the case, all apps are automatically closed and if you interfere by doing the same process manually, then you are actually making your phone loose more power.

Electromagnetic radiation from the phone can lead to health risk

We have been hearing so much concerning this up till today with different news, but I am telling you now that the radiation from the phone is not harmful, but if you are near to the antenna or radar that produces this radiation, then you are at a very high risk

The more megapixels of your phone camera, the better the photo quality

When buying a phone, we consider the megapixels as a feature that can tell us how good the camera is. But this feature is only really important to professional photographers, but for a phone user, it is not the number of the megapixels that matters but it is the sensor size that makes the quality of the photo ideal for us as phone users

so as we have all seen, some of these things we hear are not true, so, if you think that I missed something or I didn't get something right or anything at all just leave your thoughts and opinions in the comment box

Yeah, we used to give attention to myths without asking for proof. But most of the time I don't follow it. Maybe we are all simply influenced by social media. Others are from rumors. My old phone was the same as my last child's age 2.5 years old with overnight charging but I don't drain it and it's still the same.

maybe because social media gives us all kinds of news and we won't even know which to believe

Yes, that is true. Especially for new ones who saw the first version of the myth and believed in it immediately.😁

People are prone to create wrong assumptions that are not based on facts 😑 I've been told about this myths too but I don't follow them, I tend to do the opposite. I always charge my phone at night but I've been using it for 3 years now and it is still working perfectly fine.
