How to manage your budget with the rising price of wheat
This year so far started with a lot of challenges for everyone around the world.
The Russo-Ukraine war is having a serious impact not only on the people of the countries but also at large.
One of these problems is the rising price of gas and wheat. But this post isn't about gas so I will only focus on wheat.
Russia and Ukraine make up around 30% of the wheat production on a global scale. And as we know wheat is important to make bread, cake, and much other stuff that is highly consumed internationally. This is a serious problem for businessmen and agricultors whose activities and income are built on wheat.
In front of this challenge, some countries are contemplating using other mean to make their bread without relying too much on wheat. This will likely downgrade the quality of the bread but it will allow to keep producing as much bread as possible to keep the activity around that sector running.
For example, in some country in Africa, bread cost more than before because of the rising price of wheat making it hard for everyone to afford it. As for my country, even though thanks to the government's intervention we price returned to normal we cant be sure that this will remain the same way forever.
Whether we like it or not everyone will have not only to adapt to this change cause the impact of this conflict might last longer. So it's very important to start thinking about an alternative.
This doesn't mean, you shouldn't eat wheat anymore, you can just Reduce your consumption of it, you can balance things with other foods that are least costing and that you enjoy.
Make a list of all the other food you like and do the math of how much they will cost you and how much can you buy without going beyond the amount you usually spend.
You can then also buy a limited amount of wheat and only use it for special occasions.
This is true, hayst life goes so hard. The war over Ukraine was so painful they don't deserve it those who have hurt and those who have died from the war will be forever remembered, a hero
