I was all smiles as I recalled some fond memories of my senior high school days, while reading this book. I missed school so much as I reflected on my school's anthem and motto dubbed, "Obra Nye Woara Abo", meaning, life is what you make it.
I remember the joy on our faces as we sang our anthem during special ceremonies organized by the school. I missed those moments when we came together to dance and sing with all types of God-given voices including those who never knew all the lyrics to the anthem, yet managed to creatively add their own words.
However beyond the singing and dancing, I believe, was something the song tried communicating : Make your life Worthwhile; manifest yourself.
Clocks tick every now and then. As usual, life goes on offering us opportunities to leave indelible marks of our lives. I couldn't agree more when I once learnt that people aren't looking for you, instead, they are looking for what you are carrying and if you don't manifest what you're carrying, the world would ignore you. I couldn't agree more.
Leaving footprints on earth would require that you manifest what you're carrying. Yes! That seed of greatness within you.
Are we leaving footprints for our next generation? Won't be rob off the world should we not manifest what's within us? Won't we deprive our generation and the ones behind if we don't strive to be Unforgettable?
What will you be remembered for when you finally cross to the other side? How will your epitaph be inscribed? Just your name, dates of birth and death or your epitaph will have a summarized note of the remarkable footprints you left in addition?
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, which you're going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.(Ecclesiastes 9:10 NIV).
Be Unforgettable! 😊❤
