Deep Talks

I thought it's going to be a sunny day today but the rain came rather earlier compared to the past few days. And not to mention, mornings became colder that it was hard to get up early. Nevertheless, it is no reason to cancel my plan for today and just lie on my bed all day long.

Since yesterday was our last day for the second semester, today is just the perfect day to celebrate even though the weather is not cooperating that well. After another semester full of online classes both in the morning and afternoon, I think we all deserve to have this short break. Plus, it's also the time to celebrate the day of my sister's birth since we did not get to celebrate it last April 6 because of school activities.

What I really like about this little get-together of ours is that we get to openly share how we feel and what we think, making it a circle of comfort for us since there are no judgmental comments. We also got to reminisce the past and talk about how we grew up and how time flies quite rather fast. And what really makes us feel nostalgic was how things changed a lot now. We would also often talk about the future as well, thinking what would happen if we finish college and we get to apply for a job.

It's in the distant future and, for sure, a lot of things would happen whether we expected it or not but we hold common sentiments—the real world is quite scary for us, especially when you do not get a job. But then again, even if we do not say it out loud, I know we would still be by each other's side.

Anyway, the rain has not stopped yet so I guess it'll just be another rainy night as well.
