What a rainy day it has been!
A funny story to tell: All the way commuting to work was okay—it's quite darker than usual mornings due to gloomy weather, yet it's not raining. Jeepney rides, bus ride, they're all fine.
However, as soon as I arrived on my destination, it started pouring. Yes, not droplets—I meant, downpour. It's a fifteen to twenty minute-walk to our office building, and yes, I walked while the sky started breaking down.
My pants were drenched. My shoes and my socks are all wet. The sleeves of my vest were not spared as well. Did you know I had to be barefoot whenever I just sat down in the office? I only wear the shoes when I have to go out of course.
Well.. the shoes did not dry whole day. Even the socks of course. I went home an hour earlier than the end of working hours to avoid being stranded in case it pours again. Yet I got home almost five hours later. Public Transport sometimes sucks here in my country.
Anyway, now it's laughable ('cause it's just a memory). As they say, employees can be called fishes at this rate. We still work even typhoon is raging. Glad I am work from home tomorrow.
Thank You, Lord, for today, still! Amen.
