The old wooden Moroccan Doors.

Big doors are still in Morocco. From centuries people have been built with clay and make their doors from wood. Nowadays, people are more civilized so there is no more use of these big wood doors.

Most old cities and ancient buildings still contain doors from wood. You can find it also in mountains, castles, mosques, and other ancient buildings.

In the day of Invaders and wars, people in Morocco used to build big walls with big doors. You can not break those doors because they are very strong with out bringing a strong army or misels. A lot of doors are still untill nowadays over there. In the days of portoguese, Spanish, Marines and other Invaders, the cities were closing their doors at 6 o clock everyday. You are not allowed to get in or out after 6 o'clock.

I'm still enjoying see those big doors everywhere, especially in Marrakech or the red city as they call it. Strong ancient walls and big wooden doors with big key wholes.

Morocco is a rich country. It has a lot traditional things that are still from thousands of years.
