#WeekendDiscovery My afternoon was lil' fun and scary that makes my heart beat fasts. Nope! my feet run fasts actually. :) The whole afternoon we are having a general cleaning in some part of our residence. While my brother is busy with his fishes, he then call me because there's a lot of wasps drinking water in a separate container where his small fishes (fighting fish) was being put. Well it's a thing now that I need to snap a photo of it. :) This is one of the wasps I photograph using my macro lens but then this guy (yeah! the wasp is a guy. lol!) suddenly turn around and face me as if he's ready to attack. I'm honestly afraid of it so I leave and run quickly. Left my brother busy waving his arm to make the wasps go away but the result he was being sting by it twice in his arm. Why do wasps sting? branch.wallet.bitcoin.com/FsDrTFBAwlb Is it because they are being disturb or they are being threatened when we human is around or close to them even though we don't have any intention to hurt them. #eirphotography

This guy is staring at me, do I have to run away too?
Hahaha no need but you can have a staring contests with it.
Such action is really dangerous. you better stay at a greater distance. If the wasps feel in danger they will not hesitate to attack.
If he hadn't waved, it would not have bitten him. It felt threatened, so it retaliated. Always stay safe, my friend, and nice capture.

They sting when they feel unsafe and to need defend themselves. Anyway this is amazing pictures. This is so trouble to captured the picture you are brave girl. Hopefully your day was productive
It's their nature and to defend themselves. Hahaha katakot.
Most, if not all, of the "social" insects, (ants, bees, wasps, etc.), are female. In the case of ants and bees, the majority of the inhabitants of a nest/hive/colony are sterile females. Maybe they sting and bite because they are bitter over their sterility? :-) Do you have those stupid lapinig wasps where you live? They're small wasps with a real crabby attitude. I've been stung by a lapinig whilst just standing still, minding my own business. They are awful, obnoxious little jerks!
