One day an old man asks a genie to give him everything he desires in life.The genie grants his wishes, but first he warns him that the one thing he would regret is not giving himself time to enjoy them. The Genie says "And when your dinner time is over, time and tide waits for no man".

The man enjoys his dinner and is extremely happy, so happy that he neglects it and forgets about the genie's warning.

The next morning before he leaves for work he remembers about his wish and goes to the beach for a swim. He jumps into the water and disappears into the ocean.

As the sun rises the next morning, the man wakes up on a beach completely unaware of where he is or what he has done. He has no memories of his past life or anything.
