The book of Genesis mainly explains the creation of all living things and God's best creation, man. Man and woman were the last beings to be structured by God and their names were Adam and Eve. They disobeyed God by doing what He told them not to do and they were severely cursed, punished and banished for their actions. When they disobeyed God, their eyes were opened and they realized that they are not on clothes. God is omniscient which means that he knows all that happens in and around Him. He knew that Adam and Eve disobeyed him, the Lord can never be deceived or caught unawares. The Lord knew that the devil had a hand in the evil the human committed.
This brings us to the first lesson which is Christians who disobey God will surely get punished if they don't repent from that error or mistake. The humans disobeyed God and they were punished by God, they were warned not to do something and they did it. This is the problem of most Christians, they do not respect and obey the laws of the Bible and that is the cause of their downfalls in life. Many Christians do not wait on the lord for their heart desires, they go ahead to put their hands into what is not right and that draws them into pain and pressure. They begin to blame God and ask him question that are not acceptable to God not knowing that they are their own problems. The only solution to those problems is Jesus Christ and there is nothing that is impossible for God to transform. Christians should be prepared to seek God first in everything, for it is their only assurance to their eternity in Heaven.
Second lesson learnt here is that we should not give our mind, heart and trust to people who will confuse us about God and his word, the Bible. We should not trust people who will drive our hearts and mind away from God. The only one who we can trust in is Jesus Christ and the word of God. If anyone puts his hope and trust his God, blessings will overshadow him and his eternity with God is assured. But if you allow yourself to be deceived and confused by the devil, you will miss your ticket to heaven. An individual who misses his road to heaven is doomed because he will spend eternity dancing in the lake of fire, hell. So Christians should give their all to God for he is the living God and no one can be compared unto him.
The last point is that Christians should clear their minds and drive away every evil thought that enters their mind because that will make them commit a sin against God. Satan is a murderer, a thief and a destroyer, he only comes to deceive the children of God not knowing that if we trust and hope in God, his plans will fail. Clearing the thoughts of our mind will break the hold of sin in our lives. This is the one and only freedom one can get in Christianity, freedom from the devil and his henchmen.
