Today is the last Sunday of the month of August I will love to share with my friends and family a lovely Sunday topic which I tittled dare to make a difference, in all what so ever situation we find ourselves happy last Sunday of the month.
Dare means to be bold enough to do something or challenge to something. While difference means distinct, separate, unusual and not the same. In a nutshell, dare to make a difference means the boldness to do something that is not the same with others.
The people that are challenged to make a difference today are the believers. The Bible says in 11 cor. 6:14 "be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelivers. What fellowships hath righeousness? And what communion hath light with darkness " ? This means beliver is to stand out in a crowd and do that which is acceptable in the sight of God and not join the multitude to do evil and what is life to the standard and culture of the world. The believers are dare to make a difference because they have their culture that is heavenly.
In Daniel 1:8 the Bible says " Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat or with the wine which he drank therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself'. This is Daniel living in the palace of king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, living in the royal court, living in the midst of plenty. Ye he was able to say on his heart, I will not make myself unclean, I will not do that which will turn my heart away from the lord by eating and drinking any unclean thing.
Many of us are leaving in the midst of plenty today and God has placed many in good positions in the society. Brethren, what have you purposed in your heart to do? Have you purposed in your heart like Daniel who was not influenced by situations and circumstances? Or have you defiled yourself with the meat and drink from the king's table. If you have, it is not too late to turn around and make amends. I do not know the area you have defiled yourself, your meat may be corruption, adultery, fornication, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, strife, envying, murder, drunkenness and all manners of run etc. In whatever way, my dear friends dare to make a difference because they that do such things will not inherite the kingdom of God.
Man and brethren, it is my privilege to encourage everychild of God to dare to make a difference in our generation. As a student, dare to make a difference in your school. As a businessman or woman dare to make a difference in your business world. As a civil servant, dare to make a difference in your place of work, as a preacher of The word dare to make a difference, in fact, in any profession you find yourself dare to make a difference, my friends.
The one that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think will give us the grace to dare to make a difference wherever we found ourselves in Jesus name, Amen.
Thou I'm not a pastor but today been Sunday I just wish to share what I was taught in church today and share with my fellow readers and I hope we will be inspired with the little I could remember and have a lovely Sunday.
Thanks for the topic shared and it is very important as Christians, to dare to make difference. We shouldn't follow them do what is against God's will. We ought to be a good example to unbelievers since we are of God.
