Dare to make a difference.
Today is the last Sunday of the month of August I will love to share with my friends and family a lovely Sunday topic which I tittled dare to make a difference, in all what so ever situation we find ourselves happy last Sunday of the month.
Dare means to be bold enough to do something or challenge to something. While difference means distinct, separate, unusual and not the same. In a nutshell, dare to make a difference means the boldness to do something that is not the same with others.
The people that are challenged to make a difference today are the believers. The Bible says in 11 cor. 6:14 "be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelivers. What fellowships hath righeousness? And what communion hath light with darkness " ? This means beliver is to stand out in a crowd and do that which is acceptable in the sight of God and not join the multitude to do evil and what is life to the standard and culture of the world. The believers are dare to make a difference because they have their culture that is heavenly.
In Daniel 1:8 the Bible says " Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat or with the wine which he drank therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself'. This is Daniel living in the palace of king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, living in the royal court, living in the midst of plenty. Ye he was able to say on his heart, I will not make myself unclean, I will not do that which will turn my heart away from the lord by eating and drinking any unclean thing.
Many of us are leaving in the midst of plenty today and God has placed many in good positions in the society. Brethren, what have you purposed in your heart to do? Have you purposed in your heart like Daniel who was not influenced by situations and circumstances? Or have you defiled yourself with the meat and drink from the king's table. If you have, it is not too late to turn around and make amends. I do not know the area you have defiled yourself, your meat may be corruption, adultery, fornication, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, strife, envying, murder, drunkenness and all manners of run etc. In whatever way, my dear friends dare to make a difference because they that do such things will not inherite the kingdom of God.
Man and brethren, it is my privilege to encourage everychild of God to dare to make a difference in our generation. As a student, dare to make a difference in your school. As a businessman or woman dare to make a difference in your business world. As a civil servant, dare to make a difference in your place of work, as a preacher of The word dare to make a difference, in fact, in any profession you find yourself dare to make a difference, my friends.
The one that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think will give us the grace to dare to make a difference wherever we found ourselves in Jesus name, Amen.
Thou I'm not a pastor but today been Sunday I just wish to share what I was taught in church today and share with my fellow readers and I hope we will be inspired with the little I could remember and have a lovely Sunday.
Effective Communication In Marriage.
It is very crucial to our discussion to see how important communication to is in the home. As indicated above, it has been described as the life-wire of marriage. It's position in the marriage is so strong that in most cases it is the determining factor as to achieving functional adjustment. The left side is the sadness lane while the right side is the happiness lane.
In my experience I have found out that when couples cannot get along with each other, in most cases, the problem is communication. Not a lack of communication but negative communication.
This is because there cannot be a lack of communication between two people who relate together. Communication goes beyond words as everything couples do in the presence of each other communicates meaning. The silence we maintain in the home, dragging of feet on the floor, banging of pots and pans in the kitchen, burning of food, too much salt or pepper, going to work or coming back late or early, lack of body grooming, the one word answer to open-ended question, shouting at the kids or irrational spanking etc all communicate meanings to our partners depending on the context in which they are done. Therefore there cannot be a lack of communication as long as the couple see each other. The problem is wrong communication. When we say things the wrong way, we are likely to get the wrong response this soon leads to communication breakdown the point at which couples spend their time arguing and shouting at each other instead of discussing issues and finding solutions to them.
Since our aim in communication is not to transfer words and ideas only, but to influence our partners to do things for us, we must learn how to speak to them in such a way that they will respond positively. By doing this we have some principles that we must follow which includes :
Choice of time.
Human beings operate in moods: joy, happiness, sadness ,tiredness frustrations, fear, pressure etc. Are all part of life and they manifest in us at different times. Our reaction to issues, statements, suggestions and corrections will to a large extent depend on what we are going through at a given time. We need to watch the moods of our partners before bringing up issues, especially the sensitive ones, if we are interested in results- oriented discussion.
Choice of words
Our choice of words is crucial if we want to maintain a healthy communication system in the home. Bitter and sarcastic words will only succeed in forcing your partner to read recoil into his shell or respond negatively. By using harsh and unpleasant words, you are adding fuel to the fire of discord. The consequences can be very grave.
Closeness.
Close to the choice of time is the idea of closeness it is really emphasize the choice of place and posture that are more appropriate for discussion issues, especially sensitive ones. Experience has shown that physical closeness between husband and wife will soften the voices, reduce tension and desire for self defense.
Choice of tone.
It is good not to raise your voice when speaking with your partner especially when dealing with sensitive issues. After all, she's beside you, so why the loud voice? Loud voices are unpleasant And very few people enjoy unpleasantness. Loud and angry voice will force your partner to be bitter and want to retaliate or recoil into her shell. In most arguments couples increases their voice volume in other to gain hearing or to have an edge over the other person. As the husband seeks to make his point stronger he increases his volume, the wife must then counter with a large higher volume in other to gain hearing until both of them end up shouting at each other. They will not achieve much under such circumstances.
APPRECIATION
the important of appreciation in communication cannot be over emphasize many homes have been destroyed because one of the partners has refused to play his role effectively since the other does not see anything good in what he does.
Conclusion.
The way we talk to each other matters most in relationship so we need to be very careful about how we talk to other so as for peace to reign.
Choosing the right school for your child
As parents, we are largely responsible not just for bringing children into this world but also for nurturing and training them to be wholesome individuals who are emotionally stable, as well as morally and socially responsible. How our children turn out to later in life is a composite of so many factors largely anchored on the foundation we give them in their formative phase.
It's your choice
One of the legacies we can bequeath to our children or wards is the choice of school or educational background we give them. Material things such as clothing, food, toys, shelter and so on are very essential but limited in value to the present. However, children would outgrow clothes and toys, and a time will come when they will have to fend for themselves and make provision for their own dwelling place. Education is both a tool and legacy which cannot be taken away from them because it is internalized and they cannot be separated from it.
Therefore, the choice of school our children or wards attend is of critical importance which should not be left to chance because it sets them on the path towards lifelong learning and a successful career. The under listed factors can be taken into consideration when deciding what school to enroll your child.
Understand your child
When selecting a school for your child, the first step is to consider what interests him or her, and the kind of environment he or she will most likely succeed in. Judy Weinberg, an educational consultant said “before thinking about the features of a school, begin by looking at your child’s needs, strengths and overall personality”.
It is important to always consider the specific needs of a child. Just because parents went to a particular school or type of school doesn’t mean it is the best for their children.
Personal values and preferences
Preferences such as preferring a public or private education, sending your child to a boarding or day school, same sex or mixed school, location of the school, its proximity to your residence, affordability of tuition and other variable costs, difficulty or ease of travelling to and from the school, available transportation options, etcera.
Make a list
It is important to draw up a list of potential schools, the child’s and family needs. Prune down to a reasonable and workable number based on priority and order of importance.
Having a list makes it easier to keep your search parameters in focus all through the search process. You can always revert to the list every time in the course of trying in the course of trying to make a school choice.
Visit potential schools
It is important that you visit the school you selected in order to acquaint yourself with their programs, culture and overall learning environment. Talk with a prospective teacher about their current classroom; take note of the teacher-student relationship and student-student relationship.
“The visit to the school is an opportunity to establish what the parents and students want, as well as the school's expectations from the students”- say Carthy Lee, director of admission at Bodwell High school in North Vancouver, B.C. This will help you determine whether you want your child to be a part of that school community or not.
School-specific factors
Would you want your child to go to a big or small school? Consider the number of pupils in a class, number of teachers and support staff attached to each classroom. You need to consider the school’s facilities available to support your child’s learning, facilities such as playgrounds, library, music programs, club and sporting teams.
The school’s previous academic results and performance in other areas like the arts, sports or community engagement. How does the school support children with disabilities?
Conclusion
It is equally important to know if there are platforms for parents and family involvement with the school of choice. Every parent will want to actively contribute to the molding of their child, so there is the need for forums where parents can contribute to their children’s overall development. When you are fully satisfied about the outcome of your search, you can go ahead and enroll your children.

Do4love-My introduction
Hello everyone, I’m Adams, a crypto enthusiast, Electrical engineer and Physicist, I love to write about my Personal experience, Sports, latest news, crypto’s and everything good that catches my interest. I read a lot, love meeting new people, watching football and making friends from all over the world. Feel free to call me Do4love.
First of all
I’ve been looking forward to an opportunity to express myself on Read.cash, luckily I was able to meet @Princessbusayo and @Pichi28 on noise.cash, and they gave me the necessary inspiration and encouragement I required.
Since I’m basically free today from running errands and going here and there as usual, I finally decided it is time to introduce myself here so you all can have a little idea about who I am. I’ve always wanted to be a member of this great platform so I can express myself freely while simultaneously having fun and learning at the same time. I do hope I find the fun I’m seeking, cos’ it’s like they say “all work and no play makes jack a dull boy”.
My wish
I’ve always been interested in learning about the crypto-world, though I’ve read a lot of books on this subject; I’ve still got a lot of things to learn, and I strongly believe that Read.cash will be a greater opportunity to learn more. I believe I can be one of massive crypto share- holders in the future; hence I’ve got a lot to learn in ensuring this dream comes true. With constant help and encouragement from people like @happyboy, @kristofferquincy, @farmgirl, @king_gozie, and many more giants in the crypto space, my dream will come true in the nick of time.
Why Do4love?
Do4love is a name given to me by friends due to my nature- I love to follow my passion wholeheartedly and, I’d normally do whatever it takes to achieve my dreams irrespective of how tough the process could be. I believe strongly in the law of action and reaction; love is about give and take, you can’t be loved unless you show love first. Love brought about the creation of every living being in the universe, without which nothing would have existed, hence I believe strongly in love. So in all you do let love lead.
Why join read.cash?
Unlike others who claim to be here mostly for the experience and the opportunity to learn more, I’d be very sincere with you- I want an opportunity to learn more and make more friends but I’m mostly here because of the money. I need a little side income so I can support myself and my family financially, and I believe this platform (Read.cash) will provide me with the opportunity I require to be a better person. I’m interested in reading interesting articles written by people from around the world, and since I already have a massive interest in learning about the crypto world, I have the conviction that I’m in the right place.
My Hobbies
I used to sleep walk a lot as a kid (scientists call it Somnambulism), I’d sleep in the sitting room and meet myself in the kitchen, I almost jumped into the swimming pool once, I got lucky to be dragged back by my sister who was still awake at the time. (Doesn’t only happen in movies, it’s actually real)- This made me realize travelling was my thing. I guess my body was tired of staying in a spot for too long, and decided to move me out of sleep hahaha… (evil laughter).
So, that’s my hobby; travelling, meeting new people, and watching football. I do a lot of Football analysis with friends and family, in fact I’m a big fan of LIVERPOOL FC- don’t ask me why.
Thanks for reading...
I’m happy to be here and I look forward to having fun here.
