Hello friends of read.cash. These days near the end of the year make me nostalgic for my trip to China a few years ago. Besides, my son insists on reminding me. He always asks me when it's going to snow, he associates Christmas and Santa Claus with snow, that's what he sees in movies and cartoons. He is small and still does not understand that we live in a tropical country almost on the edge of the equator and until now he will never be able to see snow at least here in his native country.
My favorite time of the year is these months between September and March, when there is a slight change in the climate of my country. In the afternoons the breeze is cooler, and the autumn landscape gives me a sense of peace.
This was my snowman for those snowy days, a cardboard scarf, hat, mouth, ears, and nose, his eyes were two ping pong balls, and I don't remember his tongue haha. That snowfall only lasted a couple of days because the temperatures began to rise, and then it was very, very cold but the snow melted. It really is a very beautiful experience for those of us who live in tropical countries that are an eternal summer.
It is incredible to see the snowflakes when we looked out the window and fell on our hands and we could appreciate what we had seen so much in movies, its starry shape like a jewel.
Throwing us a few snowballs, leaving footprints in a layer of snow, dazzling from our window an idyllic and wonderful world, a white landscape and covered trees make us feel like in an enchanted place from a story, catching our attention to admire every detail.
It could be said that snow is ephemeral like happiness, enjoy it while it lasts, the temperature rises, the ground thaws and what one day we see covered by a white blanket soon returns to its natural state, creating the great feeling of a new beginning.
Here are some famous phrases about the snow this magical, special and impressive natural event.
"The wonder of a single snowflake surpasses the wisdom of a million meteorologists." Sir Francis
"You should not complain about the snow on your neighbor's roof when it also covers the threshold of your house." Confucius
"A lie is like a snowball; the more it rolls, the bigger it gets." Martin Luther
Let's watch the snow till we drop from exhaustion! Matsuo Basho
"When you light the fire with snow, you can put out the fire of love with words." William Shakespeare
Thank you all very much for your support, every time I can pass by your articles. I hope this Christmas brings many good things to this family. This was a short post, if you have had the pleasure of seeing the snow, you could go through the comments and tell us how it went.
It's usually very cold both in the morning and night here.
