I'd been officially in my current company for 1 year and 3 months plus. Yes, I joined my current company - DU Life Group (subsidiary of Manulife Insurance Berhad), one day right before Malaysia entered MCO 1.0 on the 18th March 2020. Imagine the first day you officially join and next day your nation goes into lockdown, exciting time indeed.
During this pandemic period, I learnt from the founder of the company to cultivate one new good habit during this pandemic. In fact, he actually advised us to cultivate at least one new habit every year. One of the good habits that he shares that changes his and also most people around him is reading.
READING
Honestly speaking, I don't have this habit at all since young. In fact, I hated reading! I tried to pick up reading but I haven't really fall in love into reading... yet! But something that my founder shared actually "opened up the clog" in my brain. He said that reading just to know and reading to learn and ponder is two different thing. One can have the reading habit but just reading to know isn't really useful but if even if you don't have frequent reading but just to read something that caused you to have deep thoughts and trigger you to change your mindset and thinking. So, instead of just reading a lot, don't just read it through but also read it into your thoughts.
This is also the reason why we have this once a week reading activity in the company and we will have our own library in our upcoming new office. This is how serious our founder is wanting us to cultivate this reading habit.
At the moment, I only read once/twice in a week. Still not as frequent but I will try my best in this.
REGULAR EXERCISE
Health is wealth, this statement doesn't sound unfamiliar to all of you but because we need to be always reminded that despite spending time working, we also need to spare sometime to exercise to maintain our health.
Exercising is something similar to "maintenance" to our health. Previously before the lockdown, I did sports like basketball, badminton or swimming. Things went down the drain after lockdown, I'd not been exercising since then till last month (June). The main reason (or maybe motivation) is to make sure my body is as healthy as possible for the vaccination tomorrow! Since outdoor activities are not allowed and I try not to go outdoor if possible, so I pick up those no-equipment home workout. Another motivation is also to make sure my weight doesn't go up and to improve my body mass. So far, I'd been doing this for more than 21 days and I'm happy with this new habit. The only thing I anticipate the most is the abs form. Looking forward to have at least a nice looking abs. Once a while I will post my short updates here in my noise.cash channel.

I have always enjoyed reading. Bad was with writing. I started writing only here in read.cash. The training neglect it CH unfortunately completely. I am too lazy for that.
