When I was still in Junior High, it was so difficult for me to understand the topics of every subjects, even if there was a teacher. Now it becomes more difficult because there is no longer a teacher, explaining and teaching a particular topic. Step by step.

School year 2020-2021 is the most difficult school year for me,because of distance learning. One week is not enough for one module. Also,we have many subject that has lessons that can always squeeze the very last drop of knowledge and creative juices in my brain. That is why distance learning must not continue after the pandemic.

If this way of teaching and learning continues, not everyone can afford or has good gadgets and abundant internet connection. Sometimes it goes into vague misunderstanding in sending a message about a concern or instructions using social media accounts. And it may sound exaggerated but it is draining some of the learners. Not just physically but also mentally and emotionally. Because school and house or family problems are coming at once, that may cause the students to feel they can no longer breathe. We have too many responsibilities in just one place, that we can not enjoy or have fun anymore. And speaking of fun, many learners has lost their appetite for studying. Not because they are being lazy, but because there is no more fun while learning and discovering things alone. Just too much pressure, cause by deadlines and high expectations.

Some still wants to stay on top and learn something new, but self learning is not easy. A close person or not, expectations are everywhere. They think distance learning is easier than face to face. But no, it is not easy and will never be easy. Sometimes because of pressures, learner's will choose not to have a rest just to pass their outputs on time or before the deadlines. In distance learning the modules seem limitless, module after module.

Distance learning will never let some of the students learn, because some of them will only seek answers in the web and not in their own understandings. They will become dependent to it. Also, students only attend school this time because they do not want to waste the year, and they are afraid to be left behind by their batchmates.

Most students prefer traditional classes than online classes because with traditional classes you will not only study and learn through the discussion of the teacher, but you will also learn how to socialize with other people. And you'll have fun while learning. You can also build your confidence in mingling with different kinds of people. You can also do a lot of physical activities, and you can build a great relationship with your classmates, that can be turn into a squad for life. In online classes, socializing with others is limited. That is why distance learning must not continue after the pandemic.
