This is going to be a storytime of a little experience I had. For starters, I'm sure I'm not the first one to embark on a trip that no one else except your friends know about because how would you possibly keep your mouth to tell your mum that you're leaving town to go visit the "LOYL". So a baby girl went on this lil trip and everything was perfect, weekend was over and it was time to come back. The journey back is where the horror story starts. Somewhere along the bridge connecting Rivers to Akwaibom, a tanker fell and that goes hand in hand with a fire outbreak or an explosion. None happened yet but there was panic (typical Nigerians) People of God, you wouldn't believe the other passengers started talking about survival tactics like "we should all jump over the bridge into the river" "let's start running, the fire might not reach us" "i'll rather drown than get burnt". WTH was wrong with these people, why are we in an AKTC bus talking about 600 ways to die. Well ladies and gents, I panicked and told God that if he saves me, I'll not travel anywhere again. Lmao😂😂 There was just no way I would die with them.
Bottom line, there was no fire, explosions, no one jumping over the bridge and all the panic was unnecessary because guess what, the tanker was empty. We found a spot to squeeze through and we were on our merry way. Had a scary road trip before?
The most people that can relate to this is our illegal travelers 😂😂 for everyone journey you take you feel like your heart would leave your body
