Everyone should be treated equally no matter their skin colour. Personally I don't care if you're white or light or brown or dark or black or orange, it doesn't matter to me and it shouldn't matter to you as well. We have to treat everyone with respect. But today, I'm glorifying the dark skin, all African women and women of colour worldwide.
Our complexion has been torn down more times than I can count and growing up we probably thought something was wrong with us or wished to be lighter or even went as far as bleaching. Getting older, you start to appreciate the things you have and love yourself as hard as you can. Now we've realized for ourselves that our skin is gold, we're the hottest things under the sun, we're so beautiful, are they threatened by us? Maybe but we don't care. All we care about is glowing, hydrating and our skin looking like a real life miracle. Black girl magic is not just for black skin girls, it's now a culture, a tradition and it's for all of us who have proven to be fierce and strong, we earned this and indeed light, brown, dark, black, we're all Black Girl Magic and I respect what we have. Shine on beautiful. You are real life Gold with a dash of Magic❤️
