Are you a blessed woman

You cannot bring blessing to human race until you discover how blessed you are.

Let us consider the story of Jael, Jael was a blessing to women because of her singular act. On the other hand Eve brought curse on the womanhood she was meant to be a blessing to.

Genesis 3:16 says

“To the woman, He said; I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; in pain you shall bring forth children; your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.”

Assuming Eve knew that different destinies were attached to hers, she would not have joked with sin. She messed with sin and brought sorrow on womanhood until Jesus came to give us life in abundance. We all know that the Lord is merciful and gracious. He still made cloth for them to cover their nakedness, but they were sent out of the garden of Eden and life became difficult because a woman embraced sin.

In spite of this history, the children of Israel knowing fully well still went ahead and sinned against God during the days of prophetess Deborah. The repercussion of their sinful habit was the punishment God gave to them by selling them into the hand of Jabin, king of Canaan.

Jabin had a mighty warrior as his commander of his army, and his name was Sisera. After the isrealites suffered in the hands of the enemies for twenty years, the Lord heard their cry and He spoke His heart out to their leader, a woman, more than a woman, Deborah, who was judging under the tree named after her then.

Then she sent for Barak to reveal the mind of God that He was ready to set them free from the hands of the oppressor, when she revealed it to Barak, he felt jittery. Understanding the magnitude of Sisera's oppression on Israel, Barak did not have enough capacity to ride on. He needed the support of Deborah. He said in Judges 4:8

… If you will go with me, then I will go, but if you will not go with me, I will not go.

That was challenging! Deborah as a woman more than a woman did not shy away from the fear of Barak but she said to him the mind of God that going with him meant the victory being given to a woman.

Judges 4:9a

“So she said, I will surely go with you: nevertheless there will be no glory for you in the journey you are taking, for the Lord will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman.”

As a prophetess, Deborah received the message from the Lord that the victory was going to come through a woman. Not minding the outcome, they all set out. The battle front became tough and threatening.sisera and his nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people with him did not realised that the hand of the Lord was against them. The Lord disorganized Sisera and all of his chariots and there were bloodshed everywhere for them, a man with nine hundred chariots of iron fled on for his dear life, but the mistake was fleeing into a woman's tent, from frying pan to fire, not knowing it was that woman that will kill him.

A prophecy as been told that the isrealites will obtain victory through a man,so because of that, sisera went into Jael's tent and from there met his death because Jael drew a nail through his ear to the ground and that was how a woman brought victory to the isrealites.

The question now is "ARE YOU A BLESSED WOMAN OR OTHERWISE"?
