Burna Boy VS Shatta Wale Update

So yesterday I wrote about the ongoing beef between Shatta Wale and Burna boy, there's been a new and interesting update to the story.

After being challenged to a fist fight openly by Burna boy, Shatta Wale went to social media and began insulting Burna boy and his fans saying that fighting burna boy was a waste of his time. On the other hand Burna boy has stopped responding to Shatta Wale's outbursts and has been quiet for a while.

Just when we were all thinking that the cause of the recent beef between these two artistes was completely based on the Nigerian and Ghanaian music issue, there was a twist to the story.

A former member of the Shatta Movement family (SM) and Ghanaian musician, Wizla Finito has just come out claiming that the relationship between both artistes went sour when Burna boy found out that Shatta Wale was having an affair with his girlfriend.

Wizla Finito stated that what was going on was far more than just a war of words. He said in a viral video circulating the internet that , "Shatta Wale lied, he never helped or did anything for Burnaboy. Burna boy brought a lot of Money to Ghana and Shatta Wale ate the money and paid Burna boy back by sleeping with his girl. Shatta Wale is well known for sleeping with all his close friend’s girlfriends."

Wizla Finito added that Shatta Wale has broken the code of the street. "Someone like him is capable of putting poison inside Burnaboy’s food. Shatta Wale is very fake, he will never befriend you if you are broke. He has switched up on me and all his close friends whom we all started the SM movement together."

Shatta Wale actually tweeted about a woman who could be Burna boy's former girlfriend, he also added that Burna boy was not man enough.

The funny thing about this situation is that Burna boy and Shatta Wale used to be quite close in the past. In 2017, Shatta Wale featured Burna boy in his hit track, 'Hosana' and while performing one of his hit tracks at a concert in Nigeria in 2018, invited Burna boy to join him on the tour.

When this started, most of us were waiting for a fist fight and see the Odogwu beat some sense into Shatta Wale, but it seems all we've gotten is more talk and proof that Shatta Wale is indeed a coward and attention seeker.

This isn't the first time he has done really crazy things for the sake of popularity. In October 2021, Shatta Wale allegedly created a sort of practical joke that he was shot and was receiving treatments. He was later arrested by the Ghana police service for creating and circulating fake news to cause fear and panic, after staying in prison for a while he was granted bail.

From the very beginning, Shatta Wale was just looking for trouble, making all those comments to get Burna boy's attention. Things would have been very different if Burna boy had kept his calm and ignored the noise Shatta Wale was making but enough is a enough though, they should just settle this matter man to man once and for all.
