The Financial Wisdom. A must read.

Have you had the opportunity of counting thousands or even millions of dollars at some point in your life, and today you can't give an account of a dime? Have you been called or addressed as a rich man/woman or boy/girl in years, months or weeks past but today you can't even take care of yourself? If you find yourself in this category of people, you must put down everything you are doing right now and give me your undivided attention. Sorry if I sounded too commanding with my last statement. I am just being a concerned friend who has seen the need to talk about this financial wisdom lesson I learned from my mentor.

Money is no man's friend but at the same time, it is every man's best friend. Yeah, you read that very rightly. Show me a man without money and I will show you a man with unfulfilled dreams. It is not a curse or ill wish, rather it is reality and every one of us must understand that life and money walk hand in hand for a better actualisation of dreams and goals. So if you are ready and willing to change the way you have been treating money and everything about it, which has kept you below the line of rich people then, come with me and let me show you a secret to change your situation.

Bread and Seed

Can you take a minute to look at those two words above? What do you see or should I say, what goes on in your mind? Let's get back to the business of the day. Now the two words are of different quality but one of them produces the other. I know someone will be tempted to think that when a workman eats bread, he gains more strength to produce more seeds right? Well, that is not the case in this post. Let's look at it from the angle of a farmer. Whatever a farmer does, he doesn't forget to prepare the seeds which he will use for the next planting season. This is done because he understands the power of the seed. We all know that it takes just one seed planted to germinate and produce more seeds.

The Financial Wisdom

Are you still with me? If you are still reading up to this moment then you are truly eager to have a better life and progress in your finances. Ok, I promise you that you will not regret reading this post today. Mind you, I have taken a decision some time ago to always flood my post with necessary things that will help us all both in the financial, spiritual and mental growth of our lives.

Now, a lot of us have made and will still make this mistake about money in the future if we do not learn from this post. When we talk about Seed and Bread, we are talking about money primarily. Let me give you an instance. When you have worked for some time and eventually you get paid. The first temptation that sets in is the temptation that can mark or mar your life. This temptation is simple but very dangerous because it gives you every reason you need in life to fall for it. Imagine a man who has not had a plate of good food for the past two years due to his low income. Suddenly, he receives an amount of money that is times three what he makes in a month. The first temptation will be for him to rush into a good restaurant and enjoy a good meal irrespective of the price.

Let's look at another scenario. A man who has been struggling all his life and has never been as to afford a good birthday party for himself. The moment he sees a million naira, he is faced with the temptation of spending sporadically. Most times, these temptations may come from friends and even families. The worst part of it all is that we allow such temptation to grow within us and before we know what is happening, we have yielded to it. You compare yourself with men a d women who have streams of income that automatically generate them money even when they are sleeping. How can you lodge in the same hotel, buy the same car or go on a private jet like Jeff Bezos or other world billionares when you do have an automated stream of income that generates money for you?

This is the very important part that every one of us must read with great attention. Now, when you receive money, you do not just receive money for consumption rather you also receive money which will serve as your seed for another planting season. Read that ☝☝☝ again.

We make the mistake of consuming even the seeds meant for the next planting season. When we are done consuming our seed and the bread at the same time, we find ourselves back to square one. Most of us at this time will begin to complain and accuse one uncle or aunty in the village that they must have used witchcraft to lock our destiny. This is the story of a lot of people, especially the youths. Just as we see every day, once a young boy makes his first few million, he rushes to a car dealer to buy a car forgetting that he must not touch his seed.
