Nothing Works any more.

I could have been thinking differently if I was residing in another place but I guess the reality is too clear to be ignored. Wherever you are and whatever you do in life, always pray not to have any connection with anyone who does not value human life. I have come to understand that the basis of the success of any nation or family is the level of value placed on human life at all times. No matter what you think or how you feel about what I will say in this post, I want you to know that it is coming from a place of sorrow and pain borne out of neglect for human life.

Do you know why everyone is pointing accusing fingers at Putin the Russian President? The reason is very simple. It is because the invasion or war which he started goes against everything human life stands for. Can you imagine the number of deaths already counted in 4 weeks since the war started? I bet you, no one would be very happy with what Putin has done irrespective of whatever good reasons he may have. This is simply because human lives have been lost over something that could have been handled differently. Whether we believe it or not, Putin will certainly face the consequences of his actions not just by human laws but also by the great arm of Nature.

Nothing works when there is no Value Placed on Human Life.

Have you ever wondered why every warring country or community remains undeveloped? It is a case study that we must carefully look at in other to understand where we are going as a people. Each time you hear the drums of war, it is a clear sign that human lives have no value therefore, they can be destroyed at any time. This has become the issue that has taken over our world today and we seem not to see it glaring directly on our faces. We go about our business just as if nothing has gone wrong. What do you think makes someone pick up a gun and point it at another to kill?

There is no other reason other than lack of value for human life. It may seem like a movie to you when you see a group of people seriously hitting another person with weapons capable of bringing death. Most times we see these things happen and we think it's ok or probably, we think it does not concern us. We forget that it starts from just one death which leads to another. Have you ever thought of what will happen when a suicide bomber does not see any large gathering of people to kill, don't you know that they will start visiting even houses to continue their deadly act?

The above images clearly show you the effect of war which is caused when we have lost the value of human life. I bet we are yet to understand that Ukraine may not be the same again after this war irrespective of whatever help they may get from all European countries. Let's cast our minds back to Libya, Sudan, Syria, Yemen, Iraq and other countries that have been ravaged by war caused by neglect of human life. None of these countries has returned to what and where they used to be after the war. Most of them are just ghosts of themselves and yet we act as though we do not understand what happens when we lose value for human life.

Why We Lost the Game.

I decided to talk about this last because I believe it is something we all must keep in our hearts at all times. It is no longer news that the Super Eagles of Nigeria were edged out of the 2022 World Cup by the Black Stars of Ghana right there in Abuja the Nigerian capital. A lot of people were seen destroying the gadgets in the stadium after the match and we did not take a minute to ask ourselves why we lost or why it has become hard for us to join any major tournament, even with the crop of players we have. I have always given my mind the chance to look at all things critically because I strongly believe that nothing happens out of the ordinary.

This is why I took a minute pause to look at the general situation in Nigeria. It was at this critical thinking moment that it occurred to me that the entire country made a very grave mistake before the match started. Let me hint you on the situation on the ground in Nigeria right now. There have been attacks on trains and just a few days ago, a lady surgeon was killed with several others when the train they boarded was attacked by terrorists. This incident happened just less than 24 hours before the match between Nigeria and Ghana but due to the lack of value on human life, not even a minute of silence was accorded to the dead before the kickoff. Meanwhile, this has been the way other countries where human lives are valued do in cases like this.

The players would have been made to wear an armband in a show of mourning which in turn will tell the world that the country is in a state of mourning. It was so crazy that no one talked about the dead just because none of them was among the elite or politicians in the country. How do you expect Mother Nature to come to our aid? However you want to see it, know that any country or community that does not give value to human life is as good as dead in its entirety. Life is more important than what is used to maintain it. Give more value to life and see how our world will become a better place.
