I have heard a lot of people say that life is not fair and each time I hear them say it, it makes me wonder if they truly understand how nature has made life be or is it a case of ignorance. Whatever be the case, I would want to use this medium to point out something I have learnt both through personal experience and the experience of others. It may seem like a fairy tale to someone who is reading this article, but I would want you to open your heart and remove every form of bias that might make it hard for you to understand what I am about to say. Life is not and was not meant to be fair to anyone. What happens is that those who wish to take the bull by the horn when it comes to life achievements are the ones who force life to be fair to them. Have you ever wondered why two persons will start up the same business with the same amount of capital and one will succeed more than the other? When you watch a track event like 100 meters race, you will see more than four persons start a race at the same point but at the end, one person will emerge as the winner. Have you not thought about it? By the time you think about these things, you will understand that life was never meant to be fair to anyone who does not force fairness out of life.
I understand that you will be wondering why I chose to write in this tune. Well, I am not in any way having it hard in life because I have succeeded to force life to be fair to me even when life does not want to. I am writing this because I feel the need to sensitize a lot of people on why they should not expect life to be fair to them. This is why you will see or hear someone complaining about how life has never been fair to him/her. I must tell you the truth and I know that it will hurt you to hear it but I must tell you because I love you. Can you imagine a Jeff Bezos or a Bill Gate asking life to be fair to him instead of forcing life to be fair by the decision he makes? I believe that you have heard this saying that says;
In life, the rich keep getting richer while the poor get poorer.
Sometimes we see it as a curse when things are not going the way we want them but instead of taking the bull by the horn, we will result to either complaining or crying from one friend to another seeking help which we may end up not seeing. I guess by now you are beginning to get what I am driving at, but if for any reason you still do not have any clue about what I am saying then, you need to carefully read on.
Looking at Life through the Eyes of the Wealthy
Sometimes our wishes should serve as a propelling force towards our achievements but the reverse is the case when it comes to the mind of the poor. To a wealthy man, he sees his dreams as the direction to where he ought to be and this makes him always give a second thought to every opportunity that comes his way. The story is different for the poor man. As we all know about this saying:
Poverty is of the mind.
This is why the way you think will always determine if you will make it in life. You cannot claim that you want to be rich and famous and yet you have not made a single effort to break free from your comfort zone. The wealthy put everything on a scale in a bid to weigh his options in as much as he may see a lot of risks facing him he will still make that needed move. Have you not wondered why someone will go to a financial institution to ask for a loan just to invest in a business he knows might crash either because of the economic situation of the world or because of bad government policy. For a poor minded person, he will see it as a risk not worth taking but a person who understands that life is no giver of fairness if not forced out of its cold grip, he will plunge straight into the risky waters of life and the result will certainly tell.
Stop expecting things to happen for you
There is no single country in the world that does not have poor and wealthy people all mixed in the same ecosystem governed by man’s policy under the control of nature. When you hear about a government policy that seeks to increase the price of a general commodity in a country, you should understand that it is all a way of controlling the amount of money that flows in and out of the poor masses. The problem we have is that when these things start happening, instead of us going out there to make things happen, we will even get more relaxed with the excuse that the economy of the country is hard. We even get to the level of blame game which becomes the final straw that breaks the camel’s back. You may not understand that the amount of time you waste in blaming the government or someone else for your failures in life contributes to your problems more.
Don’t expect the government to make policies that will burst your small scale business because before the government of any country will make policies, they will first consult with the wealthy or what I call cabals of such a country and you know what that means. It simply means that your small scale business is not considered as a huge revenue generator to the economy of the country therefore any policy that will not affect the wealthy but will affect you will be passed with a second thought.
Just think about what I have stated here because I know that a lot of people do not know these things which is why you see them complaining about how unfair life is to them. Take the bull by the horn by pushing even harder when it seems like life is trying to withhold your destiny because if you do not force life to be fair to you, life will become very unfair to you. Don’t say I did not warn you about this. Go and check the history and story of the world’s richest people you know, you will understand that they never gave life an option rather they took charge of their destiny by forcing life to become fair to them.
