In my yesterday’s post, I talked about researching before going into any project and during the explanation in that article, I made mention of shit coins i.e. coins that are believed to worth nothing. Ok, this morning, I woke up with some kind of happiness which flowed through last night till this morning and if you must know, I am still feeling happy lol… Ok, let me hint you a little on what brought about the happy mood last night.
Like I said earlier, most times we bump into a crypto project that we tag as a shit coin because we feel it has no prospective but something happened last night. Before I will go into details, I will want to let you know especially the newbie that there are a lot of ways to earn crypto. I will try to throw more light on these tested and trusted ways of earning crypto.
You can earn crypto either by:
· Buying it i.e. trading.
· Airdrops.
· Contests.
· Joining in live AMA sessions.
· Blogging
I will try to elaborate on these ways according to how it has affected me i.e. my point of view.
Buying i.e. Trading
In my experience, this is the easiest way to acquire a token in the crypto space but this comes with its own risk which is why most persons will advise that you do your research very well before buying any token. The same way we have fake goods in the real market is the same way we have scam projects in the crypto space.
If you rush into any project without research and it ends up that the project is a scam, you will lose your money and one thing about the crypto space is that when you are scammed, you cannot or you do not have any government back up a policy which will help you recover your money. Unlike the real market where you will rush to the authorities either the police or any other agencies that can help you recover your money. Before you make any purchase please do your research very well.
Airdrops
This is the one everyone rushes into even late in the night. It is not because it does not have its risks rather it is because it is more or less free. You are only required to pay for the transaction fee which might not be too high although this is determined by the blockchain which the project to be airdropped is hinged on. If it is an ethereum based project be rest assured that the gas fee may be too high but if it is BSC, the fee may be as low as 0.2 cents or even lower. Now in this airdrop process, you are expected to do one thing or the other which ranges from filling of forms, following the project on Twitter, retweeting a pinned message, following them on their telegram group and so on. The only thing about airdrop is that most times you may find yourself in a shit project but the truth is I have learnt not to underrate any token again after what happened last night.
Sometime last year I got an airdrop of a token (shadetech) 5 of it and then it was completely a shit token but last night I got a message from my friend that the 5SHD is now worth over $220. At first, I was not convinced not until I checked through uniswap because the token was listed that yesterday. I was so happy to find out that an airdrop I did since last year turned out to become something good. Right now, the token price is between $39 to $47 per one.
Contests
A lot of people have earned a lot of crypto from contests and I must tell you that this is for those who have the mind to think out of the box. Most of these contests are held in places like read.cash, uptrennd, binance etc. You are expected to complete the contest within the given duration. Some of them might come in form of writing or even trading while some may be in form of surveys as a way to know the tokens acceptance or the general knowledge of the people about the token. The truth is that these contest are real and a lot of people have earned some tokens from them and I am one of those people.
Joining in AMA live session
The first I joined in any AMA session was last year and it was organised by ALGORAND. For me, the session opened my eyes to a lot of things I did not know and after the lecture period, we were allowed to ask questions and as the question and answer session ended, the guests were asked to pick a question that was very vital to the AMA session for them to be rewarded.
My question was picked as number 4 but unfortunately for me, I asked the question anonymously and that was what disqualified me from getting the reward. I later found out that the reward was up $20. Well, I did not blame myself so much because that was my first time joining in such a thing so I did not understand how it worked but now I have learnt my lessons. If you are looking for a way to earn some crypto don’t overlook AMA sessions because there is always something at the end.
Blogging
I decided to write this last because this is the one we all know and understand very much. Even though we understand it perfectly, there are still some little mistakes we make that may make us not earn the desired reward or tipping. Some of these blogging sites where you can earn crypto are read.cash, uptrennd, minds.com, steemit, publishox, swirge, hive and a host of others. The truth is that all of these sites are paying sites but you must first understand how they work before you can start posting on them.
The problem most bloggers have is that they do not take some time to study the blogging site they want to go into and this will make them join a new blogging site with the same mentality they have from their previous ones. Every blogging site has its ecosystem and reward mechanism and if you don’t get to understand it, you will end up writing your content without getting any tip. If you are reading this article, I want you to take a minute of your time and go read about how your blogging site works for you to do better.
In all the above-mentioned ways by which you can earn crypto, I will not advise you about buying a new project if you have not made your proper research because you might be walking into a rat trap. Ask questions when you have to because the crypto space is so wide and vast that you may be caught up with just one mistake and you know what it means. See you at the top.
You described everything very well.. Also love back to my article also❤💟
