Change and stop waiting for Change.

Have you read the title again just for a clearer understanding? It's always easy for one to rush through a post just because you think the title says all you need to know. Well, most times we end up losing some vital points in a post whenever we do that. It is on this note that I would want to advise you to read this post with a different approach.

Currently, the world is on a very dangerous slope which is heading to great disaster if not handled carefully. It started with the second wave of the coronavirus which pushed the world a few steps backwards and just as the world was about to get past it, Russia/ Ukraine began a fight that has gradually turned into war. If you don't see that there is a great change happening to the world right now, you are either not in tune with the happenings in the world or you decided to act ignorant. Whatever be the case, you either change before the change changes you. The choice is yours.

The entire world is now living right on the edge because of the uncertainties that abound in the war between these two European countries. Mind you, these two countries have greatly played a part in the world's economic input. Ranging from grains (wheat) and oil. If you are very observant, you would notice that the prices of both commodities are already on a crazy hike not minding the area of the country you are living in. I call this a ripple effect because it will continue to increase and touch every aspect of the world economy. I remembered watching a documentary on Aljazeera some days ago about the world food program.

They were discussing the negative effect of the war and how it has affected the world in the area of food. You and I know quite well that no country or people can exist without food. They looked at the high cost of wheat and some other whole grains which have affected especially most poor African countries. I saw the images of children suffering from hunger in Somalia and other countries. Mind you, the war is just in its 4th week. What do you think will happen if the Russian/ Ukraine war lasts even more than 6 months or what if it turns into a full-blown war touching every country in one way or the other?

Just yesterday there was a meeting held by NATO leaders with the G7 and there were key decisions taken that I believe may push the war into a more critical period. The most baffling thing about this is that the Russian President does not seem to bulge not minding all the sanctions that have been meted out on Russia. He went on to say that he will no longer allow Russian Gas to be sold to Europe if they are not going to pay with the Russian Rubles. To some, this might seem like nothing but to the entire European region, it is a serious backlash from Putin. It is known that Russia supplies %40 of gas in the world.

In all of these, what are you doing about it? It is no longer news that change has come upon us all. The question is, are you already changing or do wish to allow the change to change you. The decision is all yours. Don't forget that the only thing constant in the world is change and we must be ready to adapt to others not to be taken unawares. Right now, America and the Europe zone has struck a deal for the USA to supply liquified gas to them due to the changes from Russia. That is change happening right there. Don't wait and do nothing because it may come so suddenly that you would not know what to do. Make the necessary changes now.

Thank you for reading.

I agree! We must start the change on ourselves, instead of just waiting for it.

Well said my brother. I read it all and I won’t say I don’t get your point.

We have to prepare for the change as it might come unknowingly and unexpected. Just like the emergence of the corona virus then. Which later made a great hit to the world at large.
