NOW HEAR MY STORY

Am David ugwu, born on November 9th 1999. To the family of late Sunday ugwu, who is my father. Am from Nssuka Enugu East local government area of Enugu State in Nigeria. This story was told to me by my mom.

The day of my birth Mark's a wonderful and a happy day to my family because I didn't come out into this world alone, I was born twins and she was a girl. when we were growing up, I was seen as a great son, and as time went on, we were baptized at Roman Catholic Church. It was then that the name David was given to me. After that, we were taking to the church for naming ceremony; that was on 1st April 2000. One year after our birth; that was on 9th of November 2000, my Dad organized a big birthday party for us. And everybody was invited to celebrate with me and my twin sister. There were much to eat and drink. That day was marked as a day to remember because we were the only ones that were celebrated in our family. We took pictures with everyone and also personal pictures to mark the day of our birthday.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

The dark side of my story (the evil days)

After three years, my twin sister fall sick and was rushed to the hospital. After every effort both from doctors and our parent, she died. That was the most painful thing that ever happened to me. My sister is gone and gone forever. She died at a tender age leaving me alone without any one to play with at that time. But what can I say was just a little boy that doesn't know what death is all about.

My dad started taking care of me when ever my mum is out for her business. In Africa, twins are known to be fragile in the sense that when one dies, caution should be taken, alse, the other twin might die also. So for this reason, my father started taking me to his farm at early age just to make sure that I don't stay alone. Maybe that was how I became interested in farming and working in the farm till now.

My dad so much loved I and my sister that after she passed away, my dad turned himself into a babysitter just to make sure that I don't feel lonely.

He did that for me for several months, but after a while he became sick. At that point, I was left without anyone to take care of baby David. For that reason, I was admitted into a kindergarten. I lost my dad too on the process. From that time till now, it has been I and my mother. My dad was a great man that had many beautiful dreams for I and my sister, but everything fizzled away without a trace. Life is mysterious!

After his death I learned much more about him as I was growing up. All that he needed was to have good time with his twin baby, but death took both my dad and my twin sister away from me. My education nearly ended, but years later my Dad's best friend who is a priest came and took me with him so that I can help him take care of his children and also continue my education. He took good care of me and also takes me as his son. I stayed with the priest for ten years before I come back to stay with my Mom, helping her in her business and in farming. I enjoyed staying with my Dad's friends for 10 years approximately. Now I'm more happier after I meet one good farmer called @Maxdevalue.BCH who introduced me to Bitcoin Cash community and also taught me how to use BCH for payment. Now I can share my stories, and good friends around the world can read, and support me with BCH, which can be used to settle my bills like school fees, tools for my farming, barbing my hair, shopping etc. I know that soon, BCH can be accepted in universities in Nigeria. If my wishes should come through, then I'll not have to worry about fiat money anymore; because my saved BCH will be there to settle my universities bills.

Question for my readers

Have you ever lost a loved one that the scar his or her demise created in your heart could not be healed? Please drop your comment; it'll be appreciated very much.
