Language learning has always been a huge challenge to those who do not acquire languages since an early age. A delayed attempt to learn a foreign language means long hours of cumbersome activities. Considering significant differences between learning first language and second/foreign languages, one may readily discover the reasons for difficulties associated with belated language learning. What may compensate for this problem is being immersed in and flooded with natural language and ubiquitous exposure to both written and spoken forms. Thanks to the development of virtual environment, the creation and provision of such rich linguistic atmosphere is much easier and affordable. This opportunity proves to be even more beneficial owing to the interactive nature of so many educational and non-educational social media applications. A language learner's involvement with varied online practices provides him/her with the chance to use language genuinely and for legitimate and meaningful purposes. It may be that adults today may be less remorseful for their tardy action in dealing with their language learning needs.
