When selfishness is a good thing
*Hello friends,*
It's getting harder and harder for me to write an article these days. This may be due to fact that I left writing for a long while which and getting back to writing will take sometime before I re-master the art. While I was waiting to board cab to take me to my place of work this morning, a neighbor drove by and decided to give I and some other neighbors a lift to where we would easily get a car to board. And while we were in the car, some people decided to talk about the forth coming presidential election and the respective candidates. Of course different people would have different opinions as regards a matter, so this discussion would be no different.
To be honest, I rather indifferent to the discussion as I am not the chatty type when it comes to third party gathering, but I became interested in the discussion when one woman made a statement. She said "both those that collected money to sell their votes and those that didn't are all facing the consequences now". She said this because some people in the car were accusing those that collected money to vote for an electoral candidate of been the root cause of the mess the country is in presently. They said those that even collected money during the election period are the ones that are feeling the heat of the recession the most. What caught my attention was the first woman's reaction to all this. We all quickly caught up with the fact that the woman was one of those that probably sold her vote during election periods.
Her reaction was a reflection of what most people her. They don't care about what others would go through because of their actions especially when it's bad. Infact they would rather that everyone suffer with them than they losing what they deem advantageous in that moment even though it's going to benefit others if they let go. Another thing is most people are short-sighted and not willing to wait and reap abundance. They would rather eat now to suffer later. I believe this is one of the basis for poverty, lack of investment and low standards amongst people.
One attribute of all successful people is the ability to foresee, forgo and invest in somethings which are mostly long term in durarion, even if it means that they may suffer for a short period of time. But most people are not like that and that's why the distribution of wealth is skewed and only few people are actually possessing it. I know some people may want to make the political state and level of corruption in the country as the major reason for the high poverty level in the country, but I beg to disagree. Yes, corruption can reduce the chance of Becoming successful in a country, yet when one becomes limited in his/her ability to fore see and invest or learn to do the right thing, the result is stagnancy in his/her life. Kushy wrote an article the other day and he mentioned that the best way to save money up for oneself is to invest in oneself and you don't invest in yourself by selling off your future because of the present.
When it comes to success, be selfish
This brings me to another angle of the discussion. Those that collected money to vote for a candidate knows that this candidate is not worth but they would vote or even kill for him anyways because of what they want to collect from him. They don't care about the other populace or the suffering they may incur in the future. Rather they are selfish, short-sighted and corrupt in their own self. So, when it comes to you becoming successful in what you do, never let human opinions deter you. So far you know you are on the right track and you are certain of your vision and mission, never let anyone deter or influence you form achieving your aim.
The truth is most people want everyone to be like them, to remain in the same position of irrelevance that they are in than seeing others success and triumphing.
Imagine what would happened if the wright brothers had given up when they were being laughed at for trying to make their vision a reality? Then the reality of flying in the sky and space may have never materialized. Sometimes, one has to be selfish to achieve one's goal. When it comes to being successful, only one person is needed; only you! Others joining you are mere contributors and helpers, but the main person is you.
REMEMBER IF YOU ARE DETERMINED, YOU CAN ACHIEVE IT IF YOU CAN DREAM IT!

The popular series: Alchemy of souls

It's already 7 months since the ASUU body embarked on it strike. This has really affected the Nigerian university education in no small way. Aside from the payment of the long due salaries the body is also demanding for the payment of the 7 months backlogs they didn't work for. Although with the current look of things, I'm not certain we would be resuming this anytime soon and that is if we eventually resume this year at all.
Moving on from ASUU and the federal government saga, there is this Korean movie series turning heads now and it has gained a wife popularity in my country. I am usually not a fan of Korean movies or should I say seasonal movies especially the Asian ones (not been racist or anything like that. I don't even watch my home country's movies because I prefer action-packaged, sci-fi, magical and ammunition movies than love or tragedy ones). But this particular series has changed my perspective about Korean seasonal movies and Asian movies in general. I am someone that can predict what will happen in a movie which will come to pass about 90% of the time whenever I am either watching a Nigerian movie or an Asian love drama. Maybe it's because I have seen much of them while growing up and have seen a pattern emerge which doesn't seem to be changing.
But ALCHEMY OF SOULS is totally different! I can't seem to predict anything in the movie. Yeah, we all know that Jang Uk will unlock his energy gate, become very powerful and become the king one way or the other and that Mu deok will regain her powers back and become extraordinary power and accepted by everyone at the end but how all this will happen is totally unpredictable in respect to the way the scripts were written.
Take for example, when Jang Uk was despirately trying to unsheath his sword, he could but when he didn't I was surprised (which is one thing I hardly do for a movie; Getting genuinely surprised!). Like one minute a girl is about to die and the next a man is unsheathing the sword of a mage with torrents of energy flowing uncontrollably into his hands.

I just like the whole movie setup. The costumes are very nice and outstanding and the plots, top notch. One other thing I enjoy about the movie is the additional humorous scenes added, it truly helped to release the tension and suspense.
Although I wish season 2 was out already but I'm thankful that it isn't yet, this is because it's going to be like form of Christmas gift from the entertainment industry to me since it is coming out this December 😁 ALCHEMY OF SOULS is actually the third Korean movie I have watch; the first been JUMONG, and the second been SQUID GAME (It's Korean right?). But getting to my workshop I was introduced other fantastic fictional Korean movies that I haven't heard of before. I should have checked them out and start watching some of them now but I won't because I know once I start, there will be no going back. So, I'm gonna do focus on the important things I have at hand for now before starting to watch them.
My favourite Alchemy of soul casts.
While I may not know their real names, I will call them by the name of their role play. Truth is all the characters did excellently well but of course we all have our best choices. So, I will like to tell you mine dear friends and I hope you find them worth mentioning as I did.
**Hemp master Le**e; one thing I love about the character is his calmness and ability to reason. Yes he is very powerful yet he didn't let that get into his head and start acting presumptuously, rather he allowed logical reasoning and predictions to guide his actions. If you see him, help me ask if he can make that chaste tea for me, I think I need it 😂😂 just joking
**Young master Seo**: That character is so fascinating. I find him rather heroic and lawful. He has a sharp sense of reasoning, ability to figure things out real quick and great strength.
**The old chairman**; to me he is the character to help release tension and introduce humor to a scene. He maybe reckless at most times but he still lives up to hi standards a chairman.
You were expecting to see Jang Uk and Mu deok right? Well they are also great characters but since the movie is based on them I don't really see the reason to call their names cos obviously they will be made the best characters by the script writer.
So, there we have it. We are all waiting for season two and I believe it's going to be much more interesting than season one. I have watched the trailer and it seems it's going to live up to expectations. Till then, take care friends.

Introvert vs Extrovert
Hello dear readers,
This is my first prompt in a long while. I hope I don't screw it up 😁
So, I actually saw this prompt on @Kushyzee post sometimes ago and decided to take it up. The above picture is what the prompt is all about. Let's start shall we?
GO OUT TO EAT OR HOME-MADE MEALS
This is actually very simple for me. I have always had a difficult time eating outside (in respect to restaurant foods) so homemade food it is. Growing up, my mom always made sure to cook our food on time and taught us to cook at a very early age, hence, I was able to cook for myself at a very early age. Another reason why I don't like eating outside is because of the news I used to read then about some wicked food vendors using corpse's water or other adding other unpleasant things to their foods. Humans can be so wicked you know. So, Home-made foods it is.
HERO/VILLIAN
While reading kushy's prompt, I started about actually becoming a villian when be talked the fun and extraordinary powers they used to have. Come to think of it, do you realise most Villians have Doctorate degrees: Dr. Octopus for example and so on. And then have you noticed that most of those Villians do have mad skills and powers and are exquisitely calm and straight faced unlike the heros? While all that summed together sure makes being a Villian interesting but I am more of a protector than a destroyer. So, I'll take up the Heros badge and swear to protect the sanctity of life.😁
HAPPY ENDING OR SAD ENDING
I'm actually tempted to ask why anyone would love a sad ending but then we have the sadists, the pessimists and the devils. As for me, it's happy ending especially in a superhero movie, I prefer my hero to live on not die in the process of protecting humanity.
TO BE ABLE TO SING OR PLAY AN INSTRUMENT.
I love singing I truly do, but I always wish I could play as many instruments as I could. I do know how to play piano, drumsets, Acuba and konga drum and I'm looking forward to learning how to play guitar and some other musical instruments.
DARK COLORS OR LIGHT COLORS
The darker the color the better it is. I like color red, black (pure) and deep orange. Of the light colors, I prefer white which is the lightest of them all 😂
BE RICH OR BE BEAUTIFUL
Kushy already gave the best answer to this. It's not really pleasant to be ugly and rich or to be beautiful and poor, but then people won't really take note of your beautiful if the poverty is too much but there is this beautiful that comes with riches. So, I'll go with been Rich.
The one who loves me or the one I love
It is the desire of every lover to be loved by the person they love. So, I will go with the one who loves me, usually the love will automatically be Kindled in me.
INTROVERT OR EXTROVERT
This one is very simple. I am an introvert in out. I am unbelievably very shy. This has restricted my relationship and interactions with people. Most of my friends are actually the one that talked to me first. I always Wish I am extrovert, I mean how do those extroverts do their interaction stuff? Well, everyone is unique in his space, ain't it?
BE INVISIBLE OR BE ABLE TO FLY
Every superpower is special in it own form but when it comes to choosing before these two powers, it's not quite that simple. I love the both honestly I do, been able to stay invisible in a place and being able to fly to anywhere that would be so great. But I can only choose one so, I'm going with being invisible. I can be anywhere with nobody noticing me and do things without no one knowing 😈 (let that thought, I meant the good stuffs).

The delicate grounds of marriage
It's been a long while since I last posted on this platform. I have been quite busy as of late and I haven't been online for quite sometimes now. The reason being that I gave my phone to a friend who needed it urgently cos he lost his and was in fire need of one to get through a business deal.
Moving away form that topic, there was a song that became very popular in my country some years ago. It goes thus; '*eni ma segbe yawo, a se gudugudu meje'.* Translation: '*he who is going to marry a woman, will do a lot (monetary aspect especially)'.* This is the normal case for people in my country, especially for the Yoruba and Igbo tribe, as for the Hausas, I can't say for sure but I think it should for the same trend. Although, I don't really attend marriage parties often neither am I totally in ignorance about the institution of marriage and some of the preparations to be put in place to have a successful wedding party (my mom is an expert in that area not that she was certified by any known marriage council, rather she was knighted by her experiences and the numbers of wedding party she has attended. I tell you, that woman has attended more parties than the combined numbers of meetings any senator has ever attended in any president's tenure. Moreover she was once a caterer and event planner. Hence, when it comes to the putting things in place to have a very successful wedding party, she's an Ahithophel. And when all this marriage and planning talks are been held in the Chambers of our house, I always pick one or two things from it.
But you know hearing it is never the same as it is with doing it. I often think of the time I will also have mine. The best part where many do ignore or maybe over looked is the aspect of the after-marriage life. This is the real thing but most people have obscured it into the abyss of over confidence, ignorance and carelessness. And most of those who thought of it or plan for it at all did so very shallowly, with levity and without a guide. I believe that with planning, dedication and single mindedness, one can have a successful marriage. Most people would probably be busy planning and drafting out plans to have a successful wedding party but they fail to plan for life after the wedding day. This results in early divorces, broken home, and the likes.
I recently got to know that some people actually get married not because they really want to or because they already have the needed requirements of establishing a family but because they don't want others to start saying negative things about them or to start looking at them as irresponsible. I spoke with someone some times last month and she was of the opinion that so far you are ripe for marriage, u should just go ahead and do it whether or not you have the required materials to sustain the family. According to her, God will provide what you will use to take care of the family. I think this is why we have so many children dropping out of school and Hawking things around the street and along the road. Yeah, God can do all things, but it's also the same God that says 'make your plans known unto him and he shall direct your path'. Meaning God did not expect you to just wake up and do things with plan or based on reflex, rather he expects you to sit down, think and plan for yourself then you can bring that plan to him for approval and empowerment. So, as much as it depends on God (except if he himself tells you to do contrary), you should atleast have something to sustain your family.

On the issue of after-wedding day (Provision, living together and general married life) the Bible gave this insight;

But those who won’t care for their relatives, especially those in their own household, have denied the true faith. Such people are worse than unbelievers.
It's good to be back. Although I looked through my unread messages I found out that some of my friends have stopped writing, I hope they come back real quick.

Morning stress
One of the many things everyone tries to avoid is getting into an incident or event one does not plan for. Such things always results to wastage of useful energy, resources, time (which is the greatest factor) and missing out on important things. Many ways have been deviced to curb or at least reduce it to the minimal level, @Aimure even wrote one or two things on this in one of his recent articles. But with all these methods and ways or plans that have been developed, it is still cases where we get entangled in unforeseen events, more like why efficiency of a machine can't be 100%.
This is what actually happened to me about three days ago in the morning. I was supposed to go help someone treat her fish because from my observation, they were suffering from a parasitic disease called Ich. This is one of the most observed and one of the most notorious diseases of catfish. It is caused by a protozoan microbe called Ichiobodo. I remember the day a colleague of mine gave the presentation in my school then, it was quite revealing. This disease even though really tough to totally eradicate once it enters your pond, it can actually be prevented from entering it in the first place. Do you know you can actually be the very person inviting them to come and feast on your fishes? This can be possible if you are someone that doesn't value good water management skills or that doesn't clean the surroundings of your fish farm. The worst off is if you decide to use a stream water as your primary source of water without treating the water before introducing it to your tank, you can be sure to have opened your farm to various attacks from wide range of causative agents and vectors (one of which is the notorious water snail🐌).
Enough of that, so I woke up as early as 5am, took my bath and was already on my way by 6am. I got to the woman's house around 6:30 to 6:40 because my house was quite far away from her house. But I didn't see the woman till around 8 because they were still having their morning devotion. Although that's a good thing in a way but in respect to the fish it isn't, because I have told the woman that we have to start very early so as to round up before the sun comes up to avoid stressing the fish. And when she finally shows up, she told me she had forgotten to get what I told her to get the previous day. It was at that point I started sensing that my day is going to take another turn especially in a way I didn't expect. She then begged me to help her get it on my way going then come the following morning to carry out the treatment, of which I oblige. She gave the money and I took my leave. I had actually thought of a place I could get it and I went straight to the place but to my amazement, they don't sell fish materials there. Infact I trekked the whole commercial areas of my city and I was shocked to find out they don't sell those things. But they all kept shouting one man's name that he is the one that has those things. This man's shop is quite far from where I am, so I decided to still look around maybe I could find what I was looking for, but u couldn't so I decide to go to the place.
I did got what I was looking albeit at a higher price since he is the only one that has it hence he monopolized the prices. I guess that's why the poverty rate is still very high in my country; everybody is investing, jumping and pointing in one direction and the result is high competition, scarcity of job in that area, low profit and so on. I was told during my IT days that only one man imports the fish feed that is been distributed in Nigeria. Just one man! Imagine what will happen if he decides to increase the price, everyone will feel the impact. Most people see fish businesses and agriculture as a lowlife job that doesn't pay much, but little do they know that agriculture is what take over 50% of their overall income. If you won't mention 4 to 5 wealthy people in Nigeria, you would find out that atleast 2 of them is deeply involved in agriculture, directly or indirectly.
I think it's high time people still using their brain in choosing what they want to do. You can't just jump into what many people not thousands but millions are already doing and expect to make it in that endeavor without having a stand-out skill or personality. There are very many other things that are not yet popular that can fetch you huge amount of money of you start investing in it right now. Take for example, in my country 8 out of every science student won't choose medicine and surgery in when filling forms for university exams and the result is many will not be giving admission. Now those that chose the somewhat low and unpopular courses like guidance and counselling, radiotherapy, french language other linguistics, agriculture and so on, will giving admission almost immediately and when they graduate they have higher chances of securing jobs or better still using their acquired skills to start up their own enterprises which will start fetching them money will the medicine and surgery graduate is looking for job and when he can't find, he starts working for the person that read the supposed low values course or start looking for way to leave the country to seek 'greener' pastures overseas (which might be dangerous if they decide to take the libya or sierria Leone routes, if you know what I mean).
Leaving that, I was able to get what I was looking for and also got some advice from my colleagues. I took the materials to the woman's house the next day and to my surprise I found that It wasn't Ich or any other infection. It was the water and the environmental conditions. The woman had told me from the out set that an expert helped her to set up her fish farm so I never actually bother to ask about the water quality and the likes. But while I and her security man were conversing I found out the water were not treated or at least left for some times before the impounding also the tank used for the culturing were not treated before the introduction of the juveniles, no acclimatization, no treatment was ever. I was told the fish were supply in the afternoon and whenever they will wash the tank the fish will be in the tank while they wash and more so, since about a month plus since they have brought the fish no sorting as been done which made some of them to swallow the others (I witnessed this personally). I was amazed they don't even know the number to fish in the tank! Anyways after hearing this, I decided to give a milder treatment instead of the proposed one. I then have them some instructions. I became more of a consultant than a doctor 😂
I was told they stocked 1000 juveniles but when I counted them, they were remaining 680 fish! The woman went wild and was really angry. She had to call her supplier and demanded that 250 fish be given as compensation since 320 could not have died with in that period of time according to her calculations.
Conclusion
Honesty pays. The so called expert and the supplier got exposed and were told to compensate accordingly. Also I believe what ever you find your hands doing do it well in all sincerity, truth and diligence. Let excellent be your minimum achieve and success will be yours. Afterall, all that matters at the end is a job well done!

Final chapter: guiness records of the animal kingdom.
Here comes the final chapter of the topic I started some times ago. Out of the top 15 extraordinary animals, we have revealed 10 remaining just 5 which will be revealed in this article. But before then, I gave a scenario where a jaguar meets a crocodile at the water hole. I asked who, in your opinion would win should a fight ensure between the two beasts pointing out the key advantages of the two contestants. The croc swims and hunts more efficiently in water using it unique killing technique; the death row. As for the jaguar, it is one the those Apex predators with very powerful bite force that is capable of breaking the skull of an animal in split second.
So who would go victorious and be filled with meat? Who will end up as the dinner of the other?
Although the crocs are known to be very powerful and ruthless in their hunting strategy when inside the water, yet when they come across the Jaguar they are actually at a huge disadvantage because the Jaguar is no ordinary cat; it can swim and survive for little a while in water! For the crock to actually win, it must bite the Jaguar at a very critical place like he head or neck; which this cat will try as much as possible to protect. But the Jaguar on the other hand is equipped with skull breaking teeth which is capable of penetrating the Crocs body armor and danger vital organs like the brain. In a video captured by an installed camera in the wild, a Jaguar was seen battling it out with a croc of which it won at the long last. This isn't the only time a Jaguar as been seen killing a crocodile, infact Jaguars have developed a specific taste for Crocs meat and also those of python.

While we have seen the most ugly animal in the whole world, it would be heartbreaking if we don't share the most beautiful animal on Earth. **So what animal holds this record?** Now, where many animal -based sites including Nat Geo wild went for the either the white tiger or the Mandarin fish, I would rather go for the peacock cause for me it's the most beautiful animal you can look at although this is arguably because beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Some said humans are the most dirtiest of all animals bit for the sake of this topic, I'm not going to include that cos obviously this is for animal kingdom (excluding man). Hence, after a careful look at the submitted answers, I concluded that the dung beetle would be the dirtiest animal on Earth. You can as well air your opinion in the comment section. As for the cleanest animals, well the pig took the lead with many votes hence emerging the winner.

Ever wished you never met someone?
*Hello guys*,
Although this was supposed to be the continuation and end of the topic I started last night, but I had to take that off for this topic tonight. God willing I'll complete that topic tomorrow.
According to world register, it is estimates that there are at least 7 billion people in the world and we interact with at least one person each day. We form bonds, circles, cliques, friendships and acquittances each passing day. But some of these bonds that we form become a snare unto us and we wish we hadn't made them nor even met with that person in the first instant. There is a proverb in my native language that says 'imu nika, ko je ka gbo orun asebi' *translation*: the nose is wicked, it doesn't allow us to sniff out the wicked ones. Another one says 'bi Inu ba se n si bi igba ni, a o ba ri iku asebi' *translation*: if the stomach were to be opened like the Calabash, it is until then that we can see the true intent of the wicked ones. All the proverbs point to a thing and that is the wickedness that abode in the heart of man.
As we journey in life, we are bound to meet with these wicked people and if we are not careful and discerning, they will hurt and inflict us with pains. It is then we would take consolace in the words 'i wish I never met you'.
Something happened in my area today that birthed this article. I guess the world isn't as we see it to be because that person you call your friend may turn out to be your worst enemy. I know of a Christian brother, very fervent and zealous but what happened today made me doubt if he ever even gave his life to Jesus in the first instant. Well said Jesus in the holy scriptures when he said 'not all who calls me Lord shall enter into the kingdom of my father except those who do the will of my father in heaven'. This brother although pure from the on set got influenced by the ways of the world and trying to run from there, he entangled another person. Before I narrate the story, I want to make it clear just as I have said in one of my previous articles; principles of Association, that no one that is good genuine will be turned bad. No! We all are turned to what we have inside of us. A cute, innocent looking cub will eventually turn to a killing machine ones it grows up not because the jungle made it so, but because that's what it is. People do say time will change a situation, as for me I don't agree with that rule, rather I'd say time reveals. It is what you have been overtime that will be revealed by time. So in the real sense of the word, time didn't change anything, you did.
Back to my story this brother has been opening himself to some kinds of wrong association and mindset and the result was that it brought out the evil desires of his heart. Then he came visiting Another Christian brother in my neighborhood and everything was going on smooth util this other brother started seeing the wrong in him. You know the only thing you can hide in this world is nothing, for anything you think you are hiding now will surely be exposed one day either in your presence or in your absence. Jesus put this way 'whatever is said in the corners of a house shall be proclaimed on the rooftops'. Truth is our behaviors and way of life are like smoke. No matter how hard you try to cover it up, it will still escape into the atmosphere for everyone to see. So, the other guy noticed the changes that had taken place in the life of this brother and he decided to ask him what was wrong. Well, after much admonition and exhortations, the brother confessed that he has been involving himself in some unholy acts. They prayed for forgiveness for this brother and he promised never to return to his vomit. But never do they know that there is more to what they are seeing.
Jesus, in the garden of Gethsemane, commanded his disciples to pray so they might not fall into temptations but the disciples took light of the words, simply because they do not understand the prayer. You see sin is like a door way through which demonic spirits and evil thoughts and imaginations evade our lives. Little wonder the Bible says whoever you obey that person you are a slave to whether to righteousness or to sin. Yeah, it looks like the brother has asked for forgiveness but on the inside he hadn't and it really affected the other brother. He started seeing the result first in the physical then in his spirit. But thank God for his mercy that revealed all what was happening to the other brother. When this brother got the full revelation of what was happening, he called his friend and asked him if he genuinely repented the last time they spoke. The friend answered yes. He asked him again and the guy responded Yes. He then told him of all that has been happening to him and what God has said about the situation. It was at that juncture that the brother confessed that he didn't truly repented but that he only did a eye service. When asked why he did so, he said because he was sacred that he will be the only one going down while the others will still be doing well in Christ.
Truly the sons of Judas are without number in the world. The other brother was speechless. He wanted to talk but all that came out of his mouth was breeze. He couldn't bring himself to terms that he was hearing what he was hearing. He loved that brother like his own blood and will go any length to sacrifice anything for him but here he is deliberately trying to pull him down. What if he hadn't gotten the revelation? What if things had continued that way? He was really angry and when he finally found his voice, the statement that came out of his mouth was ' I WISH I NEVER MET YOU'.
Conclusion
Although this is not a true story but an attempt to wirte a story based on a challenge I got earlier, it is important that we keep vigilant and alert of the things around us both spiritually and physically. Although we must be able to discern when there is an unusual turn in our lives, business or other important areas of our lives. Above all this, flee from sin for it is a gateway to destruction. Animals are one those things that draw our attention especially when you see a cute and loveable one. Of course there are different kinds of animals that can be turned to pet. I have seen people turned snakes, goats, and even some wild animals like lions to pet, strange right? Of all these animals, dogs and cat are most popular ones. Fela's songs made my day
Bonjour mes Amis.
I should have posted this article since yesterday but I was quite busy till night fall so couldn't post it on time. Yesterday went quite well for me. Waking up around 8am with my eyes blood red due to the fact that I didn't sleep well the previous night. This has been quite the routine for me since I resumed my graphic design class last week and I can't say I have really made a reasonable improvement. Well, you know the saying 'leave maths for a week and it will leave you for two months' that's exactly the case with my training. Anyways no surrender!
Towards afternoon the previous day, I had to find something to lighten up my mood as the boredom in the house was so tangible. I had first resorted to sleeping on the couch but mr sleep denied me of entry to Dreamland, so I had to find an alternative. I then decided to put on the radio and listen to news (this is something I have never done since I got in to secondary school up till now.) I was busy changing station looking for which channel will be kind enough to entertain me with some juicy news but to no avail. So I decided to just leave it in a random station and retire back to the couch. As the producer was busy hyping himself and appraising himself, a song of Fela Kuti played in between the pause and that did the magic for me. I was soaked in the music cos it came with the kind of tune and vibe that I like.
Most of my very close friends and relatives don't really like listening to me music with me cos my genre of music is usually not so pleasing to them. They either complain that it's too slow or too Christian or that they can't here the lyrics. But I don't really care about that, because I believe everyone has his or her own genre and category of music. Back to Fela Kuti, he was dropping some real afrobeat that was slow, rhymic and inspiration. Then the producer, being want other producers are know for in my locale, decided to put a rather fast and loud rap song. I just turned off the radio and decided to go and download some couple of Fela's songs. To find a site that would let you download his songs for free was not that easy to find but I kept searching anyways till I found a site that has old musics and songs has its library. I searched for Fela's songs and to my dismay it brought only the DJ version albeit a compilation of some of his songs. Although I downloaded it, I decided to head over to boomplay to download the rest but I hardly downloaded three when I gave up. That reason been that after the first successful download, I must watch an ad of atleast 30seconds before I can be able be download another song.
I switched on my Bluetooth speaker, connected it to my phone and put on the compilation version of Fela songs and what a beat! I personally love the 'wahala' song, it's funny, entertain and cool. **Surely though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me.** One of the consist and undeniable fact is that when ever the livestocks are been led out to the pastures, there is a high probability some of them might take a wrong path which maybe be really dangerous (e.g the steep of a cleft or worst still walking right into the deeper part of a water body) or they may even encounter danger when being led by their Shepherd (eg falling into a ditch or trap). While David was a Shepherd, he recounts of the many encounters he had had in the course of tending to his father's sheep. He gave the account of encountering a bear, and lion and some other wild terrifying animals which were after his flocks to kill them. He made mention of the time he had to battle and kill a young lion that already has his flocks in between it teeth. All this made us to realise that God is more than that and he is able to deliver us even when we journey to the valley of the shadow of death.
And the rods? I have always found that part of the chapter mysterious and revealing. The rods mentioned her stands for correction as in rebuke while the staff stands for directions albeit not a subtle manner. How then can the rod and staff brings comforts when they actually inflict pain in the first instance? While the reason is not so far fetched as Hebrews 12:5-downwards tells an amazing fact about God;

*[5]And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:*

I would very much like you to read the remaining part of that scripture, it explains a lot.
**You prepare a table before in the presence of my enemies, you anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.** When God sets a table before right in the presence of those that hates you, surely he does it for your glorification and to assert your domination or should I say victory. No other can eat before a loose and strong enemies, you only do that in front of defeated and bound enemies! What a great grace that we are called the sons of God. It is more or less like we have become God on earth. Your cup must run over you know why? Because is done out of love. Try reading psalms 133 for more insights.
Surely goodness and mercies shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever, Amen. Wow, such an epic ending. What I so much love about this verse is that it didn't give a condition or a probability. No! Rather it gave a CERTAINTY. Surely it says! So, it is a settle matter, a done deal. In as much as you are a believer, goodness and mercies (take note not mercy) shall follow you all the days of your life. And the mega blessing of them all? You shall continually dwell in the house of God forever. Oh! What an assuring statement. The truth is the house of God is actually real. Let me be frank as I say this; it is realer than you are seeing yourself. Infact this world you see is made from the very one you didn't see. But as you grow in him, he will begin to expose and introduce all this you.
With that, I have come to the end of that Bible exposition. So, what are you waiting for? Why do as the psalms says; 'taste God and see that he is good'. All you have to do be included into the family of God is to accept Jesus and come to him in the truthfulness of your heart and you shall see him. Now, let me reiterate my former question; **HAVE YOU SEEN THE GREAT SHEPHERD?**

I personally couldn't withhold my joy at the sight of such beauties 🤩 Even as many are rejoicing and jubilating, some are probably regretting their actions of selling their asset due to FUD. But either case, I really hope the lines keep getting greener and BCH soaring higher🕊️
A great Shepherd and much more
Yesterday while I stood outside in front of my balcony, I saw some herdsmen taking their cattle out for walk and to graze on some grasses. When I say herdsmen I meant the good ones o (the Nigerians in the house will understand what I mean by this😂). As I looked at them, I suddenly remembered a portion of the Bible and my heart raced with such pure love and ecstacy. It was overwhelming I must confess. It such a nice thing to watch the Bible play out in front of you. Below is the Bible verse;
**Psalm 23:**
The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul, he leads me in the path of righteousness for his name sake.
Surely, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil; for you are with me; for your rod and staff comforts me.
You prepare a travel before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my heart with oil; my cup runs over
Certainly, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever Amen.
My Goodness! Such amazing and love filled verse. Let me give a quick insight about the writer of this prophetic yet love inspiring book. David, a king in ancient Israel is the writer of this book. He was formerly a Shepherd. Infact he had been a Shepherd since he was a little boy one can say he used most of his childhood in the bush tending to his father's sheep. It was not a pleasant experience for any boy of you ask me since he will definitely miss out of those childhood plays and enjoyments.
Well even at this, David didn't allow this vacancy get into his head, rather he did his Shepherd work with all diligience and truthfulness not knowing that there is a God up there in heaven looking at his actions and already recommending him for a higher level of shepherding; that is to lead and tend to his people as a king! No wonder the Bible says whatever you find your hands doing do with all diligence. Let's leave that; so, David had been in the forest and knows how a true Shepherd looks after his flocks and when he recounts the way God has been dealing with him, he concluded that truly God has been a good Shepherd. And this made him write a Psalm about she Shepherd side of God. Let have a quick break down of this Psalm shall we;
**The Lord's is my Shepherd, I shall not want**. This is a short but very extremely important verse because it shows clearly who you believe in and who you rely on. I don't want because I have some certain amount of money in bank or because I have people that can help me. Good as those things were, they are only there for a while and can fail at anytime. Rather I want want or be in lack because God is my Shepherd. Oh! What amazing reality and security. Now, can you answer this question: what is your security? Who is your Shepherd?
**He makes me lie down in green pastures he restores my soul**. One of the works of a true Shepherd is to take his flocks to where there is sufficient and rich grasses to graze upon. It has been observed that herdsman can treks miles or even go cross-country or even cross continents just to get to where there are richer and more abundant grasses for there animals to graze upon. So also is it with God, he is able to take one from a place of desolation to a place of abundance. He knows how to take you from where there is shortage to a land flowing with milk and honey. Just stick to his leadings and you won't be put to shame. He is the only person that can truly give you bread and nor recount it into you. He knows what you need, hence you don't need to worry or have unnecessary anxiety because of your needs, for he care for you more than you care for your own life.
**He restores my soul and leads me in the path of righteousness**: One of the undeniable things that can ever happen to anyone is weariness and fatigue. There is a saying that even the rich cries. Whenever we get to a certain place in our lives we feel down casted and helpless, we feel like it's not going to be alright anymore, we may feel like the sun won't shine it light on out way anymore but in all this, the great Shepherd is there to provide rest and refuge for our soul. Jesus said in John; come into me all that under stress and heavily laden, I will give rest to your soul. He doesn't only mean in monetary times only, he also meant the emotional times as well. I met with a young and extremely wealthy man about 2 years ago when I and some of my Brethen went out for evangelism. While I converse with the man to introduce him to Jesus, he sudden bursted into a very sorrowful heart cry. He said as young as he is, he has several cars worth millions of naira and that he give atleast 1 million naira to his girlfriend every month (that's about $20000). He said he has there big mansions, one for him, one for his mom and one for lease. He mentioned some other things he had but in all this he said with a captivating sorrow 'I HAVE NO PEACE!' I was so moved with his confession. It made it seemed like he had nothing at all. Like as if he were a poor beggar living a life of misery. But I was glad I was there with the solution to his problem. So I introduce him to Jesus and right there on the spot he received his peace for Jesus is the prince of peace. Jesus was the corner Stone he needed to fill the vacancy in his heart for he is the good Shepherd. So why not run to him today? Truly truly, he awaits you! Don't miss out on this grace. Shalom

Shocking; 9 months old baby arrested for attempted murder

Waking up this morning, I opened my phone to read some messages on my WhatsApp, that is after been woken up by a sudden and persistent knock on the door. I didn't even know that the sun had come up that high because I slept late hence woke up late.
Back to when I opened my phone to read some messages on my WhatsApp account, I saw an headline pop up on my screen with the description: **9months old baby jailed for attempted murder.** At first I was indifferent to the news reason been that it came from my phoenix browser app and some of their news has been know to be false and just a way of drawing viewers to view their blogs. I personally have experience their falsity a couple number and if you ask me that is a very poor testimony and bad record. I mean how can you falsify a news just to get viewers to read your blog? The end result of such actions is in two folds; the first been that lose credibility and reliability when people that you have through false means get to know that you are involved in such nonsense. This will automatically make them label your site as been falseful and insincere. The end-point? You lose those people you have gained through illegal means and at the end your channel will be void of readers (the very thing you were trying to avoid). So, would it not have profited you if you had sticked with small but consistent truth you publish? Well, I guess we all don't use to think about the end results of our actions.
The second consequence of that action is that such person has successfully disbursed fake news of which it bad effect can be unquantifiably dangerous and misleading when it is been read and spread by the reader. Also it can make the spreader of such news a perceived liar and cheat who is out to get vainglory or worst still to incite violence, bloodshed, riot or rebel. I remember one that happened to me about 2 weeks back. I saw a news popped on my screen by this same phoenix app saying that a presidential candidate of a party in my country had put down his picked VP (this choice was already causing a lot of fights, backsays, anger and disunity in the party) and that he had picked another person who was of Christian origin. I was happy cos that was good news for everybody. So, I opened the app, read the news, digested and went on to tell my friend. He was shocked and happy at first so he said he will head on to twitter to verify the news.
Lo and behold, it was all a blatant lie just to make me visit the blog. I was so angry cos it made me look bad before my friend Even though he didn't show it and I felt like I was a serial liar. Ever since then I had decided to just shun wanted ever news they would bring. About the riot side, I remember one time that a female invigilator was killed by some bunch of Muslim students. She was mobbed and set on fire because, according to a student, she threw a koran on floor and deliberately stepped on it. In the long run, it was later found out that this student told that lie because the woman had stopped and collected the paper on which she had written answers which she was going to spy on in the exam Hall. Now that the truth is out, there was no remedy that can bring the woman back from death. So, false news can be very very dangerous. Infact half knowledge is deadlier than ignorance. I say this because we may just be looking at only the aspect of the lies. Sometimes some lies are told out of sheer half knowledge.
For example, you hear that an apple was cut. If you go around telling people that someone cut an apple with a knife, you may at the end be found a liar because it may be that the apple was cut with a blade or the teeth or a finger or worst still that it wasn't a person that cut the apple but an animal. So you see, to get the full detail of every incident is important. Even the Bible says: seek out the root of Evey matter and hold on to the truth therein. I believe this is why the use of witnesses were brought up first in the Bible then in the law court. So, it's better to keep quiet when you don't have full details of an event that to speak on that little that you know. IGNORANCE IS FAR BETTER THAN HALF KNOWLEDGE IN ALL CASES, because where ignorance leaves you with an open door to learn and inquire, half knowledge renders even what you think you know useless. So, it a two way road; either ignorance or full knowledge. No room for half knowledge.
Back to the baby
This evening while I was chatting, I remember the headline I read in the morning and decided to check it out, not on the Phoenix app of but on my Google news. I typed in the news sentences and pressed the load button. To my amazement, it turned out to be true. Infact about 6 different news sites of high credibility featured it. I clicked on one of them and read the full article. It was from there I got to know that it actually happened in Pakistan. Some police officers had gone to the house of a man to collect the money for his electricity bill (I still don't get why the police went to collect electricity bill isn't that the work of the electrical company or is that how it is done in Pakistan?).
Anyways, they were met with opposition from the man and his family and in the heat of argument a fight ensured with the man and his family throwing bricks at the officers there by severely wounding some of them. Anger by that incident, the DPO of the station got an arrest warrant to arrest the entire family including that 9 months old baby. They even told the fingerprint and photo of the baby. Appearing in court, the judge was amazed to find a 9 months old baby standing trial for attempted murder. So, he asked the reason for this and he was briefed on the incident. Angered by this displeasing attitude of the officers,he informed the commissioner of police who immediately sacked the officers and collected their uniforms and badges. What an annoying thing to do!
So, there you have the news friends. I guess we should always reason before we take any action no matter how provocative the situation maybe. Be calculative and intentional about your actions and don't let your anger control you. God bless.

Celebrating readcash birthday
Hello fams,
It's a wonderful day today. Though I planned on writing this article yesterday before midnight but I couldn't because I was doing some online researches thereby spending a lot of time and before I know it, it was already 4 in the morning! I had actually planned to sleep around 11pm yesterday so I could wake up early in the morning to prepare for the day but now I guess I already know how my day is going to be.
8 months on readcash
I joined readcash late last year I think around November but didn't really start enjoying the platform until January. My first published article was in November no doubt but that was the only one I wrote till January and that was because rutty decided not to tip my first article which kinda made me think 'nah, this is a waste of time, data and brain power'. So I stopped writing. It was around January when my other friend who was introduced to the platform by the same person that introduced me showed some BCH he had acquired through readcash. I was amazed and there and then determined to give it all it takes😂
So, I apply the wisdom of going to the forerunners and asking various question, How-tos and guidances. After my journey to Damascus like Paul, my eyes were enlightened and as I have met with the supposed pillars (make we dey try spice am up too na abi 😂). So, I dusted my clothes and tightened my girdle and gave it another shot. Lo and behold, rustty gave it no attention whatsoever. Hmmm, I was sad but not broken so launched another fireball and just like it predecessors, it didn't receive a penny. I was just devastated. Like why will that be happening to me? About four posts now and no reward?.
But Paul didn't stop at forgetting old things rather he press on to the higher calling which was exactly what I did. I sent in yet another article. This time around, rustty couldn't ignore it and it award it think $0.21 or so, to it. I was happy. Yes it is small but that's progress. Every mighty building began in the brain of somebody. So I kept on posting not breaking the streak. I also started interacting with others on the platform as my *Teachers* have *instructed.* The first friend and now sister I know then was @BCH_LOVER She was so kind and generous to me. She also helped and taught me one or two things about readcash. She is my first sponsor followed by @Talon the @Aimure . I think if I have the opportunity to have her as a friend in real life, she will be one the coolest and nicest person I'll ever know. I pray God keeps her and her family, Amen.
Moving on, I did my first withdrawal in February. I was so happy. I kept on looking at the crypto in my trust wallet. I first I thought it's like one of those scam project that gives you some amount of crypto which at the end becomes useless to you as you can neither swap nor trade. I really don't know about Bitcoin cash (BCH) then. So, I tried sending to a friend for trading worked. That give me morale to write more, relate More on the platform and subsequently become exposed to the world of BCH.
What benefit have you gained from readcash?
I know most people will be expecting answers like I got BCH and got knew more things about the project, but I won't because it's a normally thing. I believe that was the intention of the founder and sponsor of this great project. So that being said, I'll list some few things I have benefited from this platform.

It has given me a lot a friends. This is really a big deal for me. I am naturally an introvert so, I don't really have much friends in real life. Same goes for my social life. Infact where some people have like 15, 20 upwards chats a day, I think the highest number of chats I have ever had was 9 and that was because we were having some group assignment of which I was the leader of my group. Aside this, on a normal day my chats should be around 2 to 4. Pitiful right? Well, I guess not everyone can be Maxwell.
It has exposed me to different cultures, perspectives, idologies, fun, foods (Especially the Philippines cos I used to read about some of them from BCH_LOVERS post), quizzes and mythologies (infact I now have a place I can go for this and that's @ although
Made friends with even people from my country and state. I still dey look some of them, the day we go jam for road eh, e go shock them. I even know some of them that stays in akure which is were I live.
I can go on and on, but for my phone's battery sake and those of my eyes, I'll stop here.
There is so much I actually planned o write but not in this sleepy state. Gosh! My eyes are as heavy as a logs. I seriously need to go and sleep now.

Flour made us all happy
A wonderful time to you readizens,
As I have shared with you guys yesterday, in the morning about the saga of the excess milk, eggs and butter, well all I can say in short is yesterday went quite fantastic. I guess my 'expecting the good' came out to be true although for this once Sha.
To the update at hand, the anniversary went smoothly even behind my expectations and I can attribute this success to three main things:
God: for he is one that gave a good weather and also kept each and every one of the attendees and participants alive.
The participants themselves: well, there have been no success if the participants were not ready to perform or do the needful. But I thank God they all come out to perform Even beyond expectations.
Diligence and preparation; I guess this is the most important thing of all (that's aside from God). The place of diligence and preparation can never be replaced in an endeavor that is aimed at success. There is a popular saying in my country and goes this; '*if you fail to plan, then you are planning to fail*'. Planning comes with do the necessary preparation and been diligent in that very endeavor. My mom had paid the price of preparing and showing genuine diligence to the work ascribed to her, so the least anybody can expect is success.
The anniversary
We began the Sunday service as the usual way because, according to the laid down rules of the church, the church normal Sunday service must take place before any other services. So, we did the Sunday School, prayed, listened to the word of God (which in no small way blessed my life), then listened to the announcement for the week. It was after all these that the service was handed over to the children department for the commencement of their anniversary. At first left the church and was already on my way home, cos we closed around 11:45am and I had somewhere to go by 4pm. So, I wanted to get home on time so I could eat and rest for a while before heading to my destination. But on my way, I reasoned that my mom will be the only from her family in the church (my sister had already left during the service and my aunt had left for home also because she was to return to her base), and this will make her really sad. So I decided to go back and stay with her and what a good choice I made.
When I got back in the church, I could see my mom's face all gloomy and sad but immediately she raised up her head and saw me walked back in, the expression of Joy and gratefulness on her face was just unspeakable and unquantifiable. I guess her really really made her day. I watched some of the programs they had outlined for the day and I must say I was top notch. My younger sister partook in so many of the programs like; the praise and worship section, the choreography section, Bible recitation and race, and so and forth. She was on fire🔥 I could tell my mom was truly proud of her for her performance. I guess she made the title of children matron look good on my mom.
After a while, I checked my watch and lo and behold it was already some minutes to two. At that time I asked for the program perflects as I was given any since I came late to the start of the program. When I check what item we were on, I saw it was item 14 and we still had 12 items to go! I quickly calculated that by the time they would be rounding off the service, the time would either be 3:30 or 4pm and by that time, I would have been grossly late and tired for where I was supposed to go at that time. So, I decided to tell my mom I was already leaving and since I had informed her that I would be going somewhere by 4pm, she didn't feel neglected or bad. She was even smiling when I was leaving.
I guess we don't really need to give the whole world to anybody before we can say we have given them something. I believe the greatest gift you can give anyone are your time and your trust cos when I give you my time I have given you a part of my life that I will never recover back and also when I give you my trust I have give you my very essence.
So, there you have it. At the end of everything yesterday, I guess flour made us all happy, cos I saw some people eating the backed donuts with smiles and satisfaction on their faces as they push it down with a cold chilled drink. Also the children were so happy as their gifts were be given to them. Well said @Aimure in one of his posts where he said 'I guess nothing is a good as a job weldone' (paraphrased). In this case I'll say 'nothing is as a good as a celebration that ended well'🥰

Why so much milk?

Looking back this week, I can say it's one of the best weeks I have had so far. It's filled with trainings, increase, joy and mostly God!
I resumed my Photoshop CCS training this week and it has been quite wonderful and thrilling 🥰 Benny, my YouTube mentor, is according to the words of @Kushyzee a Photoshop wizard. He knows how to bring pictures to live and more much, he has a wild captivating imagination which he portrays to the real world using Photoshop. I had thought Photoshop was limited in editing and photo design but Benny proved me wrong!
Moving on from Benny, I'm also going to start learning from other Photoshop geniuses which Kushy recommended to me. I already know it's going to be filled with wonders and imaginative power 🤖🤯
Butter, milk and yeast
Leaving the world of graphic designs and photo editing, today been Sunday is a spectacular day for my mom as it is her church's children graduation ceremony and she is the children matron of the church. She has been preparing for it since the start of this week and she has really been looking forward to today. So, she planned on making egg rolls and some baked snacks for her children which will go along with some drinks she thought to buy for her children. She also thought to share some soft drinks and maybe some biscuits for the congregation. She and the other matron had contributed some amount of money to be used for buying all the needed things and, according to her calculations it was supposed to be enough with some changes remaining.
She had called one of her younger sisters, who is into baking, to come help her with the baking aspect. She had to travel all the way down to our house yesterday even though she was not really feeling well. Hence my mom thought it wise not the stress her too much by going to the market with her but chose another woman who volunteered herself to go to the market. And that was the Genesis of the unnecessary spendings.
They got to the market and the other woman was just busy point to this and that to buy for the baking. My mom was actually confused about the whole thing and she asked the woman why she's buying all this things since it was only donut they were going to bake. The woman said she is an expert in baking and knows exactly what she was doing. Well, they did buy everything according to her speculations and took it home. It was when my mom go home that she found out that she had bought unnecessary items, hence did unnecessary spendings. The additional items they bought includes; two crates if eggs, three packs of milk, two packs of butter and a whole bag of yeast which were really really not needed except for the yeast and then only some spoons of it was needed. My mom was not happy about the whole thing cos it made her waste her money for nothing. She didn't even know what to do with the yeast and butter. Atleast we can still make use of the eggs and milks but not the rest. And we don't really use butter in my family cos we don't like it (especially me), except for my mom (is there any food that woman doesn't like?)
Aside from that there was also a shortage of flavour and I think one other item. Well, they tried to make do with what they had. My mom and her sister had woken up since 4:30 am and were already mixing the ingredients together. It what when it came to the time of stirring that they came to wake me up (sleepy me😔). I helped stirred the ingredients after warm water had been added to it and helped share the mixture into to large bowls. Then it was covered with foil paper and nylon (I think to help trap the heat in the bowl to encourage the raising of the yeast).
After helping them to mix, I 'jejely' went back to bed but I couldn't sleep so I decided to write this article instead.

I pray it all go as planned today cos my mom as been very restless about the whole preparation thing and has been looking forward to a successful celebration. I hope it goes out as planned cos at the least Everything is going on well as planned, only the exhibition is Left. So, I hope for the best and will expect the best😁

Resuming my photo editing using PS training

It's been over 6 months since ASUU had embarked on it indefinite strike and till date it doesn't seem like the federal government is ready to meet with the demands of the academic body. This has really affected my decision of securing a job. This is because the government may become sensible on a sudden therefore meeting the demands of ASUU then I'll have to quit the job Midway, leading to shortage in payment or worst still no payment at all. So I decided to just stay at home and do just some short time jobs. Last week, my elder sis became really disturbed as time was running out and it doesn't seem ASUU is going to call off it strike anytime soon. So, she advised that I better take up a job or learn a trade. I decided to go back to my photo editing training which I have left for some times now.
Well, I won't be getting any physical coaching from my boss as we are miles far apart. So I decided to go digital by watching some YouTube videos on graphic designing and editing and that was were I came across a super wonderful and skilled guy nicknamed Benny. He is such a skillful editor and graphics designer. He made editing looks like a child's play. He can edit virtually anything and even encourages his viewers to send their pictures to his email which he edits and post in his next video.
One amazing thing I cherish about his editing skills is the ability to breath life into photos. He would even turn a not-so-good-looking drawing to an epic sight all with the Photoshop app, can you believe that? Permit me to share one of his works with you

All we have to do is send him out drawings and then the next time he "breathes meaning" into them. It's really cool watching him do all that stuffs and I would have practiced along with him if my laptop was with me but I can't cos my laptop is in the repairer's workshop. I had to take it there because of the buttons (they were stucked). I really really hope to get it back as soon as possible but all of this depends on how fast I'm able to come up with the money.
It's really good to be back learning about Photoshop (though CCS this time around). It will be a nice thing if after resumption I could show my boss some of the world I have done and he will be like 'wow, this is great'. All in all, a journey of a thousand miles begins with a step and I have taken taken that step all that is left is to proceed.

I must have spent a lot of time learning Photoshop today that I didn't notice it was already one in the morning until I checked the time just now. I have to go to bed right now cos a lot of work awaits me by daybreak.

While I was going through some status on my WhatsApp account this morning I saw a picture posted by one of my friends. I must say I was really captivated by the picture and I had to stare at it for some minutes to try and the meaning of what the picture was supposed to be communicating. Though I have my own thoughts on this (which I will share here), I like to hear your opinion concerning this picture.
Introduction
For those of us that are may not know the persons represented in the picture above, I'll do a quick and shallow introduction of them, then you can do more research and read on them by yourself.
**Socrates**; He was a Greek philosopher That came from Athens. This man was a very intelligent person of his time and he is what you can call the father and founder of western philosophy. His extraordinary and out-of-this-world thinking birthed philo-sophia, naturalism and science itself. He had some disciples under him whom he taught. The most outstanding students of his is Plato and Xenophon and although he spent most of his years in prison for charged as a man that spreads impiety and corruption among the youths and died in the prison refusing to ways of escaping from prison, he is regarded as a pioneer of deep thinking and fore runner of idealism.

**Plato**: A bright student of Socrates. He was also of the Athen origin and a good student of Socrates. One thing that differentiate him from Socrates and philosophers of his time was the ability to ascribe terms to certain words. You can call him the inventor of dictionary words😂 He was also the one that started the first academy which we can call the first western university today. He also started the metaphysical aspect of philosophy.

**Aristotle**: He was a brilliant student of Plato. An highly intelluctual person. He was from Stagira, Northen Greece. So, there you have them, the 'legends' that shook the world and shape education and intentions as we know it today.
Now, coming back to the picture, I think what this picture depicts is the unilateral transfer of Knowledge, thoughts, ambition and intentions from a custodian to another. It also explains the infamous adage "the end justifies the means". The reason been that every great man was taught by a similar though parallel great man. But this creates a kind of thought in my heart as I write this article:
"*If every great man was tutored by another great man (who himself was taught by another intellectual man thereby creating a kind of chain), who tutored the first man?*".
Well, I don't think the answer is far off, since nature, inquisitiveness and reasoning as been known to be the best teachers.
Anyways, since man have to depend on another man's achievement to create or carve out is own thoughts and adventure (with the first man being an exception of course), then it will be utterly foolish of anyone to sit under just anybody to learn. Truth is in a way, we all are a product of the knowledge or teachings we have exposed our self to. So, if I sit for long under a fool, even though I have the nature of been wise (or an in-built capacity to be wise), the minimum image I and Everything about me will mirror is foolishness. So also, he a fool sits under a wise man, over time the wisdom of the man will begin to rub on the fool therefore mirroring what humans will perceive and wisdom.
Hence, it is highly important you know where you are feeding from whether from a spring of folly or ambition or wisdom or speculations. The earlier you know the better for you. KNOWLEDGE THEY, SAY IS POWER BUT THE SOURCE OF YOUR KNOWLEDGE WILL DETERMINE WHETHER IT IS REALLY POWER!

I thought you were a friend?
Hey there friends,
Having someone to trust and rely on is a wonderful thing. Especially if you have gotten a lot of relieve or help from such relationship. There are some friends that we may even consider as our blood related family or should I say that are much more closer than a blood related family. Didn't even the holy scripture say that 'there is friend that sticks closer than a brother'? Sure, friendship is a blessing when it is comforting and reliable, but what happens when your best friend turns against and betray your trust?
This happened recently in my country. A man whom one can describe as an angel in human form or rather a good man literally betrayed his long time friend. I myself, am shocked and heartbroken when I heard the incident. Let me share it with you friends.
The man, who I address as Sir K, had a friend whom the whole neighborhood has come to know as Sir K's best friend. Infact, when you see Sir K expect to see the other man (who People commonly call Oga Yemi). They do almost all things together. I know if not for private life and those stuffs, they would have married the same woman😂 Though Oga Yemi was richer than Sir K, yet one can hardly notice the difference. Infact Sir K never lacked anything as his friend as always there to help him. You just need to see their friendship, it made people feel jealous and also pray for that type of friendship. Most people are said to seem the both of them eating from the same plate. I guess they really formed quite a bond. I heard they have been friends since their third year in the university where Sir K was to have helped Oga Yemi on a particular issue.
All was going sweet and well until a sudden tragedy struck on Oga Yemi's family. He had gone on a business trip when his wife received a phone call stating that her husband had been admitted into the hospital and is currently in coma state. The news came as both a shock and a surprise because it was not reported that he was involved in an accident or that anything of harm befall him. It was only stated that he went into coma after he finished a meeting as he was about to step out of the reception. His wife was so heartbroken and confused. She wept her eyes out. She went to visit her husband in the hospital and tried all that was in her power to see that her husband regains his consciousness but all to no avail. When the results of the several tests that was carried out on him came out, it was discovered that there were presence of some harmful chemicals in his blood. It was discovered that he has been taken this chemical gradually over a long period of time and the symptom was just noticed when it has reached a dangerous level.
When the wife was asked if she knew of this chemical, she told the doctor that her husband was a faithful Christian that doesn't even take alcohol talkless of taken narcotics. She also said her husband only eats from two places; at home and at his friend's and only eats outside when he goes for a business trip like the last one.
After 2 months, Sir K went to Oga yemi's house to meet with his wife. But he did the unthinkable; he asked the wife to have an affair with him. He even said he had had his eyes on since the day he saw her but that his friend was only lucky to have her because he proposed first. He said as from that day he has been looking for an avenue to get back. When asked about his wife, he said he married her because of the pressure from his family members and that he is prepared to divorce her if Oga yemi's wife accepts his offer. The wife was shocked but firmly declined the offer saying she loves her husband and she's prepared to wait for him no matter what. It was then sir k opened up that he was the one who has been feeding Oga yemi with the strange chemical and that the antidote of the chemical is with him and he is ready to give it up if she accepts his offer.
Unknown to him, there was a CCTV recorder installed in the room. This captured all the event and as soon as he went out of the house, the wife went to report this in the police station and sir k was apprehended. The antidote was recovered from him and was administered to Oga yemi. Although it took sometime, Oga yemi became well and he decided to go see the person he called a friend. The first word he said when he got there was; "I thought you were a friend".
It was really a sad but true incident. May God protect us from evil people disguising as a friend.

Is it possible to live forever?

I was reading an article by @Codename_Chikakiku where he talk about achieving immortality or atleast been able to live longer (if I'm correct) on Earth or on another planet. I must say I was intrigued by his article though I don't think it's a nice idea to be turned to a stone (petrification) just so I can wake up after some tens of years to a regenerated earth. Neither do I want to be kept in a deep sleep inside one scientist's tank only to wake up after reaching another planet. I mean I would have missed out on the fun of looking at the constellations and the surfaces of other planets. Whichever way, I believe science and scientists are working really hard to achieve immortality for man.

I have heard and read about so many science-based/ experimental-based articles and theories in the science community in an attempt to achieve immortality. There was one that I read some years ago and it's called **THE FUTURE MAN)**. The summary of the article is that it's an attempt to modify the present human in such a way that he is able to live in every and any environment. Be it land, water, air, or outer space. But believe me, the proposed image of the result is sure weird though not that entirely scary. I mean won't it be nice to be able to fly with my wings spread out and also to swim faster and efficiently with my webbed feet and adaptable lungs? It would also be nice to be able to slow down my metabolic processes consciously and deliberately. Sure it would be a nice thing to be able to commune telepathically 🤖
The naked mole theory
But with every modification, comes it own disadvantages. So, I move on the next scientific research; **THE NAKED MOLE THEORY.** Research is still on going on this and the last time I checked, they have made a very significant progress. Scientists have been making a lot of researches to get the secret to living forever. They studied the naked mole which lives underneath the earth crust. This mole is able to live a very very long life span even though it needs to consume a lot of calories to keep it alive. This is due to the fact that they have a very high metabolic rate and a very high heartbeat. But the very secret to their near-immortality achievement is the fact that they are able to slow down their heartbeat and hence metabolic reaction to the lowest rate that can ever be imagined. They mostly do this when their tunnels heat up to a very high degree which is dangerous to their existence since they don't have any covering that can protect them. So, they undergo the hyper-aestivation state until the temperature reduces to a suitable level and the most amazing thing about this is that they are able to do it consciously and deliberately, at anytime at any place!

Another factor contributing to their longevity it the substance that is been secreted from their skin glands. This substance helps to keep the skin health and young. In actual sense, it helps regenerate it skin and prevents it from aging.
Scientists are already working on been able to synthesis the same substance using chemicals to be able to produce life prolonging and permanent anti-aging drugs which can increase the live span of man to a very high length. But it has been said that it will mostly likely be for rich as the poor or average persons won't be able to purchase the drugs.
What's your view about immortality on Earth?
Personally, I think it would be a really nice thing but then we need to consider a lot of factors like; famine, food scarcity, overpopulation, shortage of natural resources, unemployment, obvious world caste system, global warming, destruction of natural habitats and extinction of endemic species and so on and so forth.
Sure, everything no matter how good has it own disadvantages but according to a post @Talon wrote sometimes ago, if the solution to a problem has higher disadvantages than the advantages or more grievous and demanding than the advantages, it better to let it be!

Why not leave it to him?

Timothy was really eager to get her to say yes. Though he is just clocked 20 years of age, yet he was not at peace with the fact that the person that he has been dying to be his own and worse still the same person has been revealed to be the bone of his bone and the flesh of his flesh. But even as the Lord as revealed all these amazing things to him about his union with this girl named Katherine. It has been revealed into him that as Soon as he gets into relationship with this wonderful being, things will start getting easy and jolly for him. But then this girl has been proven very difficult to get. He has been on her since about 3 years ago since the very first time he got the revelation. He has been trying all his best to get her to like him. He has read a lot of books on ways to get a lady, he has even watched some YouTube videos on how to make a girl fall in love with you. He has told a lot of people about is challenge and has asked for advice and way out of all this mess. But it seems the more he tried the more she declined the offer. There was even a time she told him that for now she is not ready to be in any relationship until she gains admission. In other times she said she has many other suitors after her and she is not yet sure on her choice yet. Then again she said she is still praying on the matter and has not been given any direction or revelation on who is going to win her heart.
On would have thought that was Timothy's only problem. Well that wasn't. Since he graduated from school about 4 years ago, he hasn't gotten admission yet. He has tried all he can and all he kept meeting is disappointment, frustration and nights of cries. He really need to get into a university even most of not all of his friends that he graduated with had gotten into the university and are already in their fourth, third or second year in the university. He has also praoyed a lot on this particular matter and to make matters worse his inability to get into the university has made him stay home for long which made him had opportunity to engage in some unhoky acts (one of which has left almost an everlasting scar on his life which can not be removed or waved aside).
In human terms, one can really say he has tried his best. He has read, seeked for advise, prayed, fasted, spent and do all sort of things just to get his life in order but all this proved to naught. Funny thing is whenever he writes exams to get into the university, his family and acquaintance made sure they stood for help and recommend him either to those in the admission department or to those in the high posts of the university. All these to make sure he gets into the university. But the more they tried the more it proved abortive.
There was even an incident where the person that was supposed to help him suddenly didn't recognize his number again. So, whenever he calls her, she would with an angry and not pleasing voice reply him on call. This woman was the registrar in the admission department. So it was supposed to be an easy entry for Timothy. But the sudden change in attitude and behaviour or the woman was strange and hear broken. He even went to the school to see her to try sort things out with the woman. He got the shock of his life when he got to the school and the woman told her she doesn't want to see him because she does not know of he is a kidnapper or an armed robber or a fraudster. Not to prolong the matter. It was only after admission had closed that she remembered him.
Later he left off trying his best and decided to let God take control and that was when God truly took control. All this while when he was 'trying his human best', God was doing what he knows how to do best in that type of situation; he stayed clear of his path!
When you try to help yourself or help fast track the work of God is a clear way of you telling God to stay of the matter so you can do it yourself. Most people carry heavy loads they are not supposed to because they fail to let God take charge. When you know you can't do it yourself why bother yourself, why not leave it to God?

Principles of Association part 2
Welcome back friends.
This is the concluding part of the topic. The last time, I stopped at number 4; **learn to discern the times and season for a relationship.**
Now all relationships can not go on forever. Infact there is an adage in Yoruba language that says **'ogun omo o le were fun ogun odun'** *Translation*; **'twenty children cannot play for twenty years.'** This is to say that no matter how close a group of people are, they are bound to go their separate ways. Though this doesn't necessarily mean that they will go their separate ways due to a fight or disagreement but we must understand to discern when a relationship has reached it end. The mistake most people make is that even when they can see the clear picture of a partner, friend or relation trying to distance themselves from such person, they try to force or indulge the person back into fellowshipping with them. The result is one sided commitment to the relationship and the feeling of been used and not appreciated.
Another thing is you can't just leave a relationship because you feel it's too long or too short, rather let purpose, mindset and the spirit of God direct you.
Let me share a verse with you;
Genesis 31:41-42
[41]Thus have I been twenty years in thy house; I served thee fourteen years for thy two daughters, and six years for thy cattle: and thou hast changed my wages ten times.
[42]Except the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely thou hadst sent me away now empty. God hath seen mine affliction and the labour of my hands, and rebuked thee yesternight.
Jacob had been in the house of Laban for twenty years and had served him with all his heart and might. The truth is he was living comfortably; ate when he is supposed to, wear what he likes and the rest. He even got married and bore most of his children in the house of Laban. We might even say he got some of his riches from Laban though as a wage anyways. Remember, Laban was his uncle, so he should have just stayed there and remain with him all the days of his life. I mean, by human standards, he should have been contented. But, he was a man of purpose and destiny that was able to discern the end of the relationship and time to move of laban's house. It was after he moved out that he was directed to go the land where his descendants would later inhabit. If he had stayed with Laban, his destiny would have been unfulfilled and hindered even though in some ways, he would have made some riches.
Hence, no matter the benefit you are getting from someone, be wise enough to be able to discern the times and season for that relationship.
**Move with people of like passion, vision and mindset**; As popular as this saying, only few people ever take heed to it and explore it potentials. If you want your association to be a bless to you then, you should move with people that are of likeminds with you. Take for example, if you want to be great in a business, then those that are already into that business or are enthusiasts as you are should be the most people you walk with. Though you will definitely have other friends but those closest to you and those you spend more time with should be those that have same mindset, ambition, vision and belief as you do. Even the Bible says;
**Amos 3:3**
Can two walk together unless they agree?
You will actually be amazed that there people that don't really like each other and are constantly into frictions and fights with each other because of their perception on different issues and yet are still together mainly because of the benefit they get from each other. The walking together that is said in the above verse isn't really walking side by side each other for enemies walk beside themselves when going to the law court. The walking together here means 'fellowshipping, communing or interacting'.
The last I will mention here is: Surround yourself with the children of God.

Understanding the principles of Association
*Hey there mes Amis*,
Happy Sunday to you all. I hope your Sunday was as wonderful as mine was? Well, true to the word of God there is fullness of joy in the presence of God. Not just joy but full joy. Many things can over you Joy but when you get to the presence of God, he will give you the full joy that has no sadness or any worry.
To the topic of the day. One of the characteristics of all living things is the ability to interact with it environment, reacting to it at different times with different actions. We humans are not exempted from This either. And the truth is the level of our development, progress, success and achievement is solidly depended on these interactions and these interactions are a function of the association you make or find ourselves in. You can become successful or impoverish by the associations you make. There is even a saying that if you want to change your current status, do two things;
Change your mindset
Change your circle.
The topic we would be discussing today is on the circle you form or should I say the association you find yourself in. And true to my behaviour as @Vernardo as said 😂 let's go to the Bible 🚀
**PROVERBS 13:20**
He that walked with with the wise Shall be wise, but the gathering if fools shall be destroyed.
This verse alone is enough to tell us all we need to know about the power of association. But I'll expasiate a bit on it before we dive into the principles guiding Association.
A blunt truth
While we were returning home from a friend's house with one of my neighborhood sisters, she asked me a question concerning one pastor's son in our neighborhood that used to be a very good boy but as turned into something else. He now smokes, fornicate around, dress so inappropriately and so on. The question the girl asked me was;
*Was he the one that influence his friend (this boy also leaves opposite my house and from the looks of things, he was bound to be wayward from the beginning due to the kind of family that raised him) or was it his friend that influenced him?*
I answer her and said; well, we cannot say for certain who influenced who. But I can say this with all confidence that a lion though trained to be a goat still remains a lion, and the day it tastes blood then will it start behaving as such. I closed the discussion by saying; it has always been in him, he only feel into the right environment (association) that brought out the characters.
What I'm trying to say here is although a man will walk with the wise and he will become wise by the virtue of his constant interaction and fellowshipping with the wise, Nevertheless it must be noted that he must first be wise! I guess what I'm saying in essence is **you can't give what you don't have neither can you become what you are not!**
So, the wise and the fool didn't mistakenly find themselves in the mist of their gatherings rather they only fill in their space that was vacate from the beginning. Yeah, some people can be lured to do bad things but if it's not really in them, they will regret their actions, repent of their ways and find their ways back to sanity. So, look at your lifestyle and your dealings, they are made by your association linked with what was already in you. Your life is a reflection of your association which is a reflection of what's inside of you. Hence, your life is a reflection of what you truly are! Have you not heard what Jesus said in the Bible?
*LUKE 6:45*
*A good man out of the good treasures of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasures of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.*
Also,
*Luke 6:43*
*For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.*
So, don't blame anybody or association for your misdeed. It has been you all along. This is the reason Jesus told us to purge ourselves from every unclean works.
Principles of Association
Now that we have establish the above fact, let's move onto the principles guiding Association for indeed there principles guiding it. The understanding or lack of the understanding of this principles can either put you at an advantage or disadvantage.
**Association is responsible for the rising and falling of people.**
**Never ever belittle anyon**e; so many people have made this dangerous mistake and till today they are still paying for it leaving their Destiny unfulfilled, their homes in wretchedness and a dead vision or mission. The truth is we all move together, talk together, laugh together and shake hands with each other but we don't know who is who. That person you think is irrelevant to you or your goal may turn out to be the key to achieving your dreams. If potiphar and his wife had known who Joseph was, they won't have jailed him. If Albert Einstein's teacher had know what he would become, she sure won't have called him 'a waste of effort and a dead Brain'. If the Jews had known who Jesus really is, they won't have killed him. Infact they would have worshipped him to he earth and erect a golden statute in honor of him. If we had know that Bitcoin would be this valuable today, we would have packed as many as we can get 😂😂 But, small things add up to big things. I'm not saying you should go about forming bound with every single jack and Tom, what I'm saying is make sure you have a clear and good relationship with everyone. Never ever look down on anyone. Never!!!
**Be invaluable to everyone**; it's good to have clean records in terms of relationship with everyone. But much more important don't be a burden or a useless person to people around you. I and @Aimure were discussing sometimes ago and he made a statement that I will never forget although he said it amid jokes. He said; people don't follow me or what to be with me because they necessarily like me, rather they are with me because they need me'. Wonderful words right? That's been useful and reliable. In the days of Jesus, most people hated him including those that come to sit at his feet, yet they are compelled to come to him because he has something to offer them. **What you offer in a relationship will define the duration of the relationship and the benefit you will get from it.** You might have been contributing meaningfully to your association and it seems they don't value it or don't really reciprocate it, don't worry, all it takes is Time. Remember when Joseph was in the prison. He had help the king's cup carrier to decipher is dreams yet immediately the man got out, he totally forget Joseph. It took some years for him to remember Joseph but when he does, that marked the end to the sufferings of Joseph and begin of greatness. So, never be idle in any association you find yourself, get something useful doing if possible, do the extraordinary one because sooner or later you will reap the benefits.
**Learn to discern the times and season for a relationship;** I'm goin to have to stop here for now. But let me talk a bit on this then we will continue in next time. Do you remember the Preacher? Well he said something in Eccl. 3:5-7

*[5]A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;*
*[6]A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;*
*[8]A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.*
There is time and seasons for everything under heaven. Don't get to comfortable with any association no matter how sweet or beneficial it is too you. Learn to discern the times and season of that relationship. There is much to say on this but I can right now so I don't create a boring write up. We shall continue form here next time by God's grace.

Who stole my heart
*Hey guys,*
Saturday is always a busy day in my house. I guess not only mine because a lot of people in Nigeria used to say this as well. Who made that law or how it came to be so still surprises me. Another one is that on Sunday, most people go to church without eating. When I asked somebody, her reply was that so she can stay focused in church. Stay focused on an empty stomach? Funny thing is this is the major reason why people easily get tired and bored during church service and before you can say praise the Lord, they are already checking the time.
Well that's not the reason for writing this article. An event occured between two individuals and that's what I want to write about. The first man approached the other person and said 'i think I'm losing it. These days, things have become really hard for me. I used to very serious about God and his kingdom before but now, it seems the more I tried to draw nearer to God, the more God is running away from me. Also, there are some very innovative things I do before, but nowadays, I just don't feel the vibe to go on again. Please help me, what's going on with me?'
The other man stared him in the eye for a couple of minutes and finally said'your heart as been stolen'. You need to see the shock on the first man's face. With much anticipation and anxiousness he asked 'how? Who stole my heart?'. Then the other man said 'Your desires!'. The first man replied 'my desires?' 'yes, your desires' and with this he began to explain what he meant by his statement.
He said; when first met God, you are willing to give everything up for him including your life. When you first started that business or yours or that project, you kept so dear to your heart so much that anything that will hinder it or disturb it, you cut off. But then comes your desires, your lust and 'Life'. At first, you were really bothered about it and you tried hard to fight it off. But it keeps coming slowly albeit continuously. Then you started giving in. You shared your heart into two, gave equal portion to the two parties not withstanding still trying to stay focused. But no one dips his feet into a river full of crocodiles and expects to come out wholely again. You can't share the temple of the living God with Belial neither can you stay focused on two thing at the same time (2 Cor. 6:9) You can't be at work and be sleeping at the same time. No, a soldier can not be at war and be entangling himself with the things of the world. One amazing thing about the human man is that it is easily distracted by useless and unprofitable things. Funny enough, that useless thing can even take complete control of the person's mind so much that the really important stuffs become less important and trivial to the person.
Although I said you heart as been stolen by this things but in the actual fact, you gave it to them. Give the devil one step and he will take a thousand more. Little wonder the Bible told us to guard our hearts with all diligience for out of it flows the issues of life. The issues of life mentioned here are the likes of our believe, our needs, our wants, out thoughts and imagination and so on and so forth. ***When you refuse to guard it, the result is that anything can become important to you, anything at all!***
As I have said, those they stole it, you actually handed it over to them infact on a platter of gold. Take note of this; when a man see a woman be loves, his mind goes blank and all he is thinking at that point in time is how he is going to get the lady. He will go ahead and woo her. If the lady accepts and they start dating, ask the man why he choose that lady and I'm sure among is his answers will be 'she stole my heart!'. But in the actual sense, did she? No! Infact the woman was on her own till the ma gave his heart to her. So also it is with the issues of Life. When you stay too much doing useless things or thinking unfruitful thoughts, you are bound to loss balance and loss your heart to it.
Way out
So, you want your heart back? It quite simple. Employ the same method that lead to the theft. Engage and surround yourself with the word and presence of God. Read the Bible, pray, listen to messages, seek the face of God and God as promised that;
*James 4:8*

Putting your body under subjection
Hello friends,
Today was quite eventful as I was able to leave my house for the first time in a long while to go outside my community although it was to have my haircut. Then coming back home, I saw some guys staring aimlessly at the backside of a young girl passing by. Though these guys were know for their corrupt and wayward lifestyle in the community, I still think they should have some fragments of senses left up there. Because I can't imagine how some ground of able-bodied guys who were supposed to be married or atleast shouldering some responsibilities would just take pleasure in running after young girls that are in the age categories of their younger sisters. Oh well the Bible has said it all:
Proverb 25:28
A man without self control is like a city whose walls have been broken through!
The end result of lacking self control is that one is prone to shame, filthiness, humiliation and loss of respect. The major crux of this is that it is not restricted to anybody. Whether you are a man, woman, Male, female, old, young, pastor, Imam, businessman or another thing, it is very Paramount that you must be able to exercise a out-of-this-world self control. What I mean by this is you must be able to exercise a self-control that is top notch and willful.
An example from a great man
One of the people I love the most in the Bible is Paul (the first been Peter😁🥰). Paul is more of a realist than an idealist even though he may sometimes speak as such. He always tries to bring himself and his audience back to the earth even though he journeys from a realm yonder. He has said in his letters to the Philippians that he is able to do all things through Christ that strengthens him. Nevertheless, he made it publicly know that he though Christ is sufficient for him yet he is wise enough to fulfill his own part of the bargain. He made us realise this when he said in his letters to the Corinthians;
1 Corinthians 9:26-27
[26]I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
[27]But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

One major reason why I love apostle Paul is that he is a very sincere and genuine man. He made sure to tell us from verse 27 that even if he gathers everything and do all the impossible and bring heaven down or ascend into heaven and he did not have power his body (self-control), he will become a cast away at the end! And how did he said he prevent being a cast away? By subjecting his body (emotions, thoughts, needs, wants and desires) to thorough control.
We too can utilize this technology to bring us to our desired goal or aim. We need to be able to bring our body under subjection to be able to remove unnecessary desires, wants and even relationships from our lives.
Most people thing self control only has to do with sexual stuffs but far from it, Yi need it in every areas of your life. You need it in your business, your educational pursuit, in your relationship, in your community, amongst your friends, amongst business partners and in every areas of your life. The work that self control does in the lives of men is so innumerable and greatly invaluable. Self control can prevent a lot of things like: shame, regrets, losing opportunities, preventing harmful and toxic relationship, keeping your life, protecting ones property, projecting you as a trustworthy and reliable person, keeping you from hunger and making you a sure and holy temple of God just to mention a few.
Biblical Examples of some people that lack self control.
One fact about the Bible authenticity is that it is unbiased in it judgement. It says the truth the way it is. And it does not cover the mistake and misdeed of supposed men of God. Some of the revealed examples of people who lack self control are;
**David**: A man after God's own heart. A man whom God confessed to hay he was the apple of his eye. The only earthly man that was able to fill the position of a prophet, king, priest, servant, warrior and musician all at the same time. But with all this, just for a few moments of pleasures, he invited the sword of the justice of God into his household and this sword devoured his household and even led to the dividing of the country. Though he had a lot of wives, yet he couldn't take his eyes from Bathseba. He had to go as far as killing her husband in order to get her for himself.
Reuben: The first born of Jacob whom was supposed to be crowned with the everlasting blessings of his dying father but was cursed with everlasting rejections and servitude simply because he couldn't resist sleeping with his father's wife.
**Judah and Simeon**
Balam the perverse prophet who couldn't resist the riches of this world but exchanged the destiny and safety of a whole nation for it.
**Judas Iscariot**; spent 3 and a half years with Jesus yet betray his for money.
**Demas**; couldn't resist the things of the world hence wet back into perdition.
**Eve**: wanting to be God, she lost everything; life, the garden, peace, security, divine presence of God and her offsprings are still paying for it
There so many of them, but I'd stop her for now.
Take action
Now, think about that thing you can't do without and what it costs you to do it. Think of what you are losing each time you do it. Think about those it's affecting. Ask yourself; will I die if I don't do this thing? Do I really need this in my life? Am I losing or gaining by doing this? And lastly what will I gain if I leave it?
Try to answer the questions above in your mind and take action to stop and drop that behaviour, addiction, action or anything it is that you need to stop. Ask God to give you the grace to stop it and he will surely help you out.

I must say that I was really thrilled and so motivated to write this final piece. I truly and sincerely hope and pray that this article will in no small way set you free and help you to set others free. Let me continue from where I stooped.
**Stop being alone**; there is this saying that a idle hand is the devil's workshop. A person that is trying really hard to quick masturbation or quit watch porn materials shouldn't stay alone. Because it is actually when you are alone that your idle mind has time to reflect on past seen image or videos and then the tug of war starts and the end?... So, get out of your shell, make friends, gist, talk engage in activities with other people. Spend Everytime you have with good people. Fill up that gap with relationships.
Now, what if your is during the night season, what do you do? At least people won't be with you at that time. So what do you do? This is where you need to deliberately change your sleeping time. If you notice you do it around 11pm downwards, you should be in bed before 10pm. Also, don't go to bed with your phone. Keep it far from you when you are going to bed. If possible set your phone to go off around 9:30pm or so and on say around 5:00 depending on you work schedule for the day.
Surround yourself with people of moral behaviours; Those we hang around also determine what will contribute to our deliverance. You can say you to be free from smoking and you are hanging around smokers. Neither is it with masturbation and pornography addiction. You need to detach yourself from previous relationships or gathering that encouraging this addictions. Also people that talk more or sexual related stuffs like the slangs, immoral talks and so on, should be avoided at this point in time. Remember, if you want to change your life, change your environment (relationships in this case).
The God's way.
You see with all the psychology methods listed above, if you don't deliberately involve God in the equation, it becomes very difficult to stay focus and attain that freedom you truly desire. This is because it is actually a thing of the Spirit. Take it or leave it, we constantly interacting with the spiritual realm and this rubs on us. The more you look at those images and videos, you are ignorantly opening the gate of your spirit to certain demons and sexually perverted evil spirit. This is a key event I want you to notice here, it is progression of the acts committed by Ted Bundy. Notice that it all started from a small piece of old paper. The paper didn't call him to continue rather it left him with something worse; Evil imagination. Then the progression to murder which still stems out of his imagination.
Hence, why you need to set your imaginations and Thoughts free by the word of God and prayer.
Jesus gave a revelation in John 8:34

[34]Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

You are only surrending yourself as slave to that spirit when you sin. Romans 7 tells us that 'you are slave to whom ever you obey'. So if you obey your lusts and emotions, you become a slave to them.
The base line is you need Jesus to help you fight and get you this true freedom that you so desired. He is ready to free you only if you know him. 'for you shall know the truth and it shall set you free'. Notice that he didn't say known church or prayer or men of God. It says TRUTH. John 14 made us to understand that JESUS IS THE TRUTH! So, you have to deliberately come to the throne of grace, accept Jesus as your Lord and savior and he will give you his holy spirit which will help you to overcome this deadly sin.
There is a lot I wish to say on this but time and space will not be sufficient. I really want this to be the end of this series, but I promise to occasionally take it bit by bit in the articles I'll be writing.

I set myself free from every demonic spirit holding me captive in Jesus name. I destroy every convenant tying me to sin. I am free from addictions in Jesus name.
I thank you that this work of Deliverance that you have stated in me you shall surely complete it. I pray that your love and grace keep me blameless till you come. In Jesus name, amen

Reconnection and a big gift from nature
Hello friends,
It's been about 3 days since I last updated my posts. Though I would have completed the topic I've been treating for sometimes now which is **OVERCOMING ADDICTIONS: MASTURBATION AND PORNOGRAPHY**, but I got distracted by two major things; first: one of my long time very close friend came visiting from a very far place, so that directly took away my time. We talk, laughed, prayed and infact did all the reconnection stuffs. It was really fun. You can imagine that feeling you have when you see a friend after a long period of time and you get to interact facially with them not on the phone. Well, just when I was about to break loose from that fellowship, another great event came to place.
On the night of Friday, I was outside with my dog and although I do play with her a lot, but that night she was just so restless and constantly coming to me whimpering almost like she was communicating some thing to me and I couldn't grasp it. Anyways I tried the best I could; I check her body and found out she was shivering, so I clear an old wooden cabinet we have at our backyard and placed it inside. Yet she was not really comfortable. This, I first thought, might be attributed to the fact that she was pregnant. So I brought out some old clothes and placed them in the cabinet. That did the magic, she entered and you could literally see the ease in her expression.
The next day been Saturday, I was outside clearing the surrounding with my friend when my mom suddenly came running to me and told me to come urgently to the backyard. With the expression on her face and the direction she was taking me to, I could already discern what was happening. Yes I was surprised because I wasn't really expecting it yet. Long story short, when we got to the backyard, I could hear a faint sound coming from the cabinet and when I looked inside it, lo and behold! My dog was giving birth. I was elated. I was really really happy. Because this is the first birth of my dog though not the first one I am witnessing cos I have seen my previous dog give birth. But this is the very first time I will witness the whole process; from the breathing to the pushing to the birth and then to the cutting of umbilical cords by the mother. Gosh! It was as scary as it was wonderful.
I almost left off I was doing and started preparing for the post natal stage of my dog. I and my mom had to wait for like 3 to 4 hours for the dog to completely deliver. That's just the way it is. It always take hours. I remember the time my previous dog gave birth to 8 puppies, we had to go to bed since we couldn't wait through out the night. She delivered the last one in the early hours of the morning.
When she finally delivered it was just 3 bit I'm happy cos when I checked their gender, it was 2 female and one male. And that's good for business, right? After that, we introduced her and the new puppies to a new place nicely prepared for them. I almost spent the remaining part of the evening with them. I am always fascinated by nature and animals especially, I guess that's why my best channel on the dish is Nat Geo wild😁
I had to retract myself from their abode to go and join my friend and continue our talks we had earlier on. I slept well that night with a big smile on my face. Yeah, I may sound kind of childish and all that, but I am who I am, a real nature and animals lover ❤️ You know even the Bible says it that the wicked is cruel towards animals but a righteous and prudent man is kind towards his animals. And whether you accept it or not, one of those things God has inputted in you to take care of apart from your destiny, family and work is the creatures of God which includes animals and other living things.
On the morning of the next day which is Sunday, Immediately I stepped out of the house and the dog heard my voice, she jumped out of her cage to come say 'hello mi owner, hope you woke up strong?' 😂😂 Just kidding though she truly ran towards me and was jumping and waging it tail at me. I guess she was really happy she's delivered her puppies. So a cute moment.
Let me not make you jealous of my dog and her puppies 😂😁 I haven't taken any pictures of her and her puppies yet, hi I'd be sure to do that and maybe share them here so you can see them and appreciate the work of the great Creator.
