I stopped at where I enumerated some medical disadvantages of excessive masturbation and pornography. Here is the complete list with some way out of this demonic bondage.
Frequent headaches
Negative impart on the person's relationship; although this isn't a medical condition per say, indulging so much in this act will tend to cause the person lose interest in his or her partner as he/she would have been adapted and addicted to the touching of his/her self. It even noted in a study carried out by some medical expert that some partners if they want to have intercourse with their partner would have to make sure they put on a porn movie to stimulate them or 'put them in the mood'. So basically, they can't have normal sexual relations with their partners without viewing a porn material. This has led to a lot of breakups and end of many relationships.
**Detachment from God:** of course this isn't a medical condition as well, but by far it is the greatest disadvantage of all, because it cuts you off from God directly as you are a temple of God. Your body houses the very essence of God in you. And the Bible tells us that who ever destroys the temple of God, him will God destroy in eternal damnation 1cor. 16-17! So you see, you are losing both on Earth and in heaven. What a sorry state! Also the word of God says the most terrible sin is the sin of sexual impurity, because you are sinning against your body directly. Every other sin you commit you do it outside your body but the sin of sexual impurity is commit in and to the body. 1 cor 6:18. You see, God frowns a lot at the sin of masturbation even though it is not written word for word in the Bible. If you read Genesis 38:1-10, you will see the mind of God to unnecessary ejaculation which is what masturbation brings 95% of the time with the remaining 5% being the time you only 'stroke' and not ejaculated. All in all, God really frowns at this despicable sin, why should you do it and sin against your creator? 😢
Goodnews, there is a way for you!
Even though it may seem like the chains that have held you down and turned you to a perpetual slave to masturbation and pornography may seem impossible to break, the good news is there is a way out for you! You can actually be free and life a life totally free of this addiction. YES YOU CAN AND YOU WILL, if you diligently, consciously and sincerely take the following steps. Before I enumerate them, I'd like to point out that I have grouped this step into two major parts: the first being the psychological ones and the other being the God's way.
The Psychological ways of gaining your freedom.
Before we dive into this aspect of getting a way, You must under that the steps listed here must done consistently, consciousness and with a mindset of the possibility of living a life truly free of this disease.
**Realise that you an addict**; Many people tend to shy away or deny being an addict even though its crystal clear that they are. This insincerely tends to keep them in that cycle of addictions. You need to come to the realization that you are an addict and that it is high time you broke loose from that parasite.
**Be determined and sincere to break lose from it**: So many people desire to be free of this addiction. They may even read some articles such as this addressing this issue but deep down their heart, they are not yet ready to let go. It is one thing to desire freedom, it another thing to work for it. Be prepare to let go once and for all. Your years or period of slavery under this wicked is over. Take charge! Be determined! Be focused!
**Lose all such materials in your possession**: This is the first action-based step to actualizing your freedom. You must dispose of any pornographic or errotic material in your possession. It may not be a movie for you, maybe it's pictures, a certain channel or post or novel or any other thing, LET IT GO! Delete them all. They don't have any profit except harm, shame and regrets to over you.
**Clear your mind**: Many people stop at destroying the materials but after a period of time, they find themselves in looking for such materials to view again because the stronghold of addiction in not outward but resides in the mind. You need to clear your mind of all the thoughts, images and actions of viewed materials that still resides in your subconsciousness and the desire for it. Take a time out. Engage in a meditation journey.
**Set a target:** one of the hardest thing to break is behaviour. It takes about 28 days to stop an addiction and 100 days to completely break it. Remember, you didn't become addicted in a day. So set a target of a time to want to stop it. Some people can decide to not do it in that time phrase and they would achieve it but the truth is, not everyone can do that. So set a target of say 2 months. Then cut the 2 months in segments. For example, for the first week, to only masturbate 2 twice, then twices in a 2 weeks for the 2nd and 3rd and then for the 4th and 5th week onces, the 6th and 7th week none. The last 8th week will be evaluation and check of your progress. Then take all from the beginning but this time on a stretch say no masturbation or pornography for 3 weeks or 4 weeks or any of your specifications. NOTE; **In all this, remain faithful, focused and determined.** Do not relap by breaking your target. Every relaps is a failure on your part. The urge will come, very strong, but you can overcome it cos you are better than that! It is a mind Game, so don't allow any thing of such nature in your mind. It all starts from a thought. Kill that thought before it grows.
**Redirect the energy**; Another mistake people do is that they feel they can always try to overcome the emotions and urges but at the end they fall flat. You are dealing with feelings here, and you don't want to take chances with it. Whenever the urge to watch or touch comes, don't just go and sleep. You will only worsen the matter cos all those urges are bottled up inside of you and will continue to grow and grown and grow until it overpowers your will. Instead, redirect the energy. Get involved in something. Turn that urge into useful energy and let it flow out. You can decide to work out (maybe do some few exercises), or wash the dishes or clear the garden, etc. As you do this, make sure your mind is free also. Don't think on it, and KILL any image or thoughts abhoring such action in your mind. Be happy and focus your mind on other matters like trying to solve a hard question with your brain. Overcoming addiction; masturbation and pornography

There is a hidden yet ever present enemy silently destroying and putting to bondage our youths and old alike. This benign sickness has eaten deep in to the heart and minds of our society and the symptoms are projected in the thinking pattern, behaviors, and total meaningful output and quality of life of the victims.
This sickness is termed Addiction (I mean it in the negative term) and of all it categories, Masturbation and pornography ranks the number one most destructive. This is because it not only deals with the very mind and soul of the person, but it limits the person's productivity rates, blocks his ability to think accurately and so on and so forth. The fearful truth about this whole matter is that it is not gender restrictive meaning it exists both in the male and female world. It is so dangerous that it can't be easily detected on the person whereas it is eating the person's soul and killing the person in all totality. So what is masturbation and what is pornography?
Most people tend to use the words interchangeably but in the actual sense, they are two different words;
**Pornography**: is an material (films, magazines, pictures, online sites, etc) showing explicit depiction of sexual matter or erotic in nature.
So basically, pornography is watching or viewing nude or porn based materials which can be pictures, films or any other related materials.
While
**Masturbation**: is the manual erotic stimulation of the genitals or other erotic regions, often to orgam, either by yourself or a partner.
In a simple word, masturbation is stroking an erotic part of your body which may end in orgasm but not at all times.
Now, since we know the differences between this two terms, we can now focus on how to define which is the most dangerous and how to get out of it.
One can actually masturbate without necessarily watching porn and one can watch porn without Masturbating. Although, medically, they would say it is advisable for people to masturbate one or twice a week, but in the situation where you can't control yourself from have 'more' of it, then you have gotten addicted to it. Addiction happens in this way; you 'look' and 'do' it the first time and it feels good, then you think wow, that was lit. It happened again the second time with no hard feelings. Next time you do it again but this time around even though it felt good, you feel that is it wrong. Then you decide to put an end to it. Then again, the pressure to feel, watch and touch comes again. You shrug your shoulders and say 'oh well, one more time won't kill' then you do it. Now you feel bad after the act and wonder why you even did it in the first place. Then it keeps going like that and each moment it comes, you struggle to get out of it, but at the end you end up getting inside the very thing you have sworn never to do. Then after some times, you start noticing some changes in you, things that were not there in the first. Things that are evil or extreme in form. You now 'graduate' from 'normal' porn to another level, from 'normal'masturbation to 'having the real thing'. You sight, you think, you might even pray but over and over again, you keep seeing yourself in the mire. And the more you tried to get out, the more you sink. Finally, it changes the very person you are; the way you think and see things, the way you sleep, your work pattern, your general way of life and your relationship with others.
The next question is have heard is if these addiction have any medical implications. Of course it does! Look, a supposed medical practitioner may tell you masturbation is not really a bad thing and enumerate some advantages such as: making you more fresh and sleep well, but behind all these the disadvantages are far greater than the advantages. Infact a time will come when the addiction as gotten to the climax that the disadvantages will thoroughly cancel out the advantages, leaving you with pain, hopelessness and gloominess with frantical way of escape from the supposed good feeling.
Some medical implications of addiction masturbation and Pornography.
First and foremost is it drains you of need energy and vitality. After taking you to 'cloud nine', it dumps you to the pit of weakness and shame. You become very weak and energy deprive. Medically, ejaculation triggers the dopamine hormone in the hypothalamus which is a stress releasing hormone, but over secretion or continuous secretion of this hormone will lead to general weakness and energy deprivation.
**It deprives you of good sleep and relax.** Even though the dopamine released is supposed to cause yougo sleep and rest more, at it climax and excessive release, you start experiencing sleep disorder and ultimately insomnia.
Over ejaculation, over secretion of dopamine and reduction in the selinum level in man results to quick aging. This is a big problem. A person of early of late 20s may start looking like a person on late 30s or 40s. If you are Experiencing this stop this for a period of 3 to 4 weeks and see the difference. You will look into the mirror and will be happy to see your real face.
**Loss of hair**: Selinum is a very important element needed in the body of man so also is the hormone dopamine. An increase in ejaculation tends to reduce the level of Selinum and increase the secretion of dopamine which will inhibit the hormone for hair growth
and and production. The end result is loss of hair in vital parts of the body such as the head, legs or any other parts of the body.
Reduction in fertility; even though it is not yet generally agreed upon in medicine, there is a possibility that increase in ejaculation will tend to reduce the fertility rate in man. Since the last part of the body to recover after any medical condition is the genital parts, over ejaculation and masturbation tends to affect the production of semen. Also since some proteins, hormone and vitamins are vital for the production of semen, over ejaculation tend to use up this vitamins and other materials leading shortage of these materials and invariably low sperm production leading to low sperm count.
**BRAIN DAMAGE:** This is the climax and the most dangerous effect of masturbation. The brain gets damaged not to make you mad or insane, instead it utters the way your brain operate and work. Dopamine is one of the very important hormone in the body as it triggers rest, sleep, relieve and pleasure. But when over secretion of this wonderful hormone is done, it tend to constantly shut down some important part of the brain like the cognisant, memorising and remembering parts. In other words, you tend to forget things very easy, memorising and commiting things to memory becomes an herculean task. You tend to remember things vaguely and can't think in the right way at the right time. Infact, you start thinking like another person since your own self is still being shut down or suppressed up there. What a dangerous and sad condition.

An incident in my community last night

Funny things happen to everyone right? It may be you looking for your phone when you are holding it, or jumping high up after seeing a long thing that seemed to be a snake only for you to discover that it was one useless belt. Well, I or should I say we (I and my family) experienced ours today.
It happened just some few hours ago. I was busy chatting on WhatsApp in the sitting room and my mom was sitting opposite where I was. She had already slept off while her phone was still playing the video she was streaming online and my sister was in her room watching film. I was actually trying to reason with someone on WhatsApp on a particular topic when my sister suddenly ran out of her room with clear horror on her face which is implying that something is definitely wrong. I was not bothers at first cos she can be like that sometimes, so I just continued my chatting.
Then she said in a horrific yet low tone that ' it's like our community is being attacked'. I first looked at her with a ' I'm not falling for that trick' look, but she was really serious. She said she heard some people down our street shouting and screaming from her window. So I decided to play along with her and followed her to her room. On getting there, I went straight to the window and listened for any strange noise. Lo and behold, she was telling the truth. I could hear some people shouting and crying. Some were even calling the blood of Jesus for help while some were just screaming.
My heart started racing really hard because looking at the happenings all around Nigeria and especially the city I currently live in, we were all thinking it's either fulani herdmen or worst still unknown gunmen. My sister went to wake up my mom and relate what was happening to her. She stood up and was already shaking. We followed the safety procedures given to us to carry out in case of an attack. We put off the lights, drew the curtains, stayed clear of the windows and remained low on the ground. But after some minutes I realised that the sound was still coming from the same place and same voices or should I say an almost repetition of the previous words. Though I heard some names which were truly the names of some of our neighbors, I discover that there were now more names being mentioned.
I then told my mom to call our zone chairman whose home was just a stone throw From ours to help confirm what was going on since his house was much more closer to the supposed site of incident than ours. My mom dialed his number and to our amazement, when he picked his call he said he was already was sleeping! I was shocked. How can there be an attack nearby your house with so much cries and shouts and you are sleeping? I thought for a while that if only we can get a peep out of the window and possibly go outside to see what was happening, only then can we confirm whether or not we were truly under attack. Well, I couldn't ask my mom to do any of the above cos she had to visit the toilet twice or three times within 10 mins when she saw the way my sister was crying and desperately praying to God like a barren woman threatened to be thrown out of the house if she doesn't conceive. I couldn't even look at my sister talkless of ask her to go do the peeping or to go outside, she will either faint on the spot or swear for me till she faints. Either way, fainting must be involved.😂
So, I summed up courage to act like a brave warrior ready to lay his life down for his friends, but I know in the depth of my heart that I wasn't really prepared to die. Come on I'm still young and I haven't done anything for the Kingdom of God nor have I built any house or bought any Benz 😁 Anyways Sha, I looked out through the window and all I see was just trees moving to and fro, dancing to the movement of the wind, also some houses with their lights on with nobody in sight. Then I looked a bit further, and saw some people actually crying and in pain carrying a guy, trying to put him in a car.
Our chairman called again only to tell us that we need not worry cos the sounds we heard is from the fifth house from our house and it was because a guy got drunk and did the unthinkable in his drunk state; he decided to show NEPA who is the boss by trying to remove the cut-out from the meter! Well, in the process of doing that, the big head got shocked and fell down thereby leading to all the drama and noises we've been hearing. After hearing this, I was so furious at first but later started laughing as I recount all we have been through some minutes ago and also seeing my sister still sobbing quietly under the bed, earnestly begging God to spare her life😂😂
Well, it's been a stressful night. So I rose up, dust myself then move towards my mom and started comforting her to relieve her of her distress and shock. I then took her to her room and left my sister to herself as she quietly crawled out and dust herself. Few minutes later, we were gisting and laughing hard as we made jest of my sister who was supposed to act as the mama of the house and protect us but rather left the protecting to Mr. Thin air and crawled under the bed. It was then we remembered we had switched off all the bulbs and our phones. Thank God none of us had posted the false alarm on our social media.
Though the incident was indeed funny and I still can't stop laughing as I Writer's it now, I'm actually grateful to God that it was what we thought it was. If not, who knows what could have happened? And believe me, I haven't built my house, I get design wey dey my mind wey I wan build, so I say No to death now. But who knows what God has in stock for everyone?

How have you all been? A drama was displayed in a court of law in Nigeria when a lawyer wore his traditional charms and attire to the court. For those of us not aware of what's going on in Nigeria, there is a seemingly friction between the two most recognised religion in the country, Christianity and Islam with the Muslims asking for girls to wear hijab and the Christians wanting to be included in government by making sure the vice president to be chosen in a particular party is a Christian also, they are clamouring for the end to the killings of Christians in the country under the disguise of blasphemy. During the court sitting in regards to the petition by the Islamic group, a lawyer as decided to take the whole matter to a whole new level, let's have the gist I'm full;

An Islamic human rights organization, the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC), says Malcolm Omirhobo, the lawyer who dressed as a ‘juju priest’ to the Supreme Court on Thursday displayed a “behaviour contemptuous of the Supreme Court pronouncement”.
Newsbreak reports that MURIC, through a statement by its director, Professor Ishaq Akintola, also said Omirhobo’s behaviour is “provocative, condescending and irreconcilable with the noble profession of law”.
“Going by his personal record, we are not in any way taken aback by what Omirhobo did yesterday. The lawyer has exhibited pathological hatred for Muslims, their religion and the language of their faith in the past.
“Was it not the same Omirhobo who went to court over the existence of Arabic letters on naira notes? He did not stop there. He challenged the use of Arabic on army logo. He also sued the Nigerian Police for approving hijab for police women in Nigeria.
“Omirhobo has behaved to type. If he has his way, he would have every single Muslim Shugabad out of Nigeria. He hates the sight of Muslims, their Qur’an and the language of that Holy Book, Arabic. His hatred reached boiling point when the highest court in the land approved the use of hijab for female students.
“This pushed him to the extreme behaviour which millions of Nigerians saw him manifesting on television yesterday. Instead of licking his wounds privately and gently after the court gave victory to the Muslims, he took his anger and frustration to the Supreme Court.
“Omirhobo’s hocus-pocus is not only contemptuous of the Supreme Court pronouncement but also provocative, condescending and irreconcilable with the noble profession of law. It is bigotry fanned by the embers of hatred. Instead of bowing to the rule of law, this lawyer sought to make a mockery of the judgement of the highest court in the land. He challenged the rule of law. It was reckless, lawless and unethical.
“MURIC calls the attention of respected unions and authorities in the legal profession like the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the Body of Benchers, etc to the behaviour of Omirhobo. If this goes unnoticed, it should not go unpunished. If this goes unnoticed and unpunished, then there is no hope left for the hoi polloi and law abiding citizens in the Nigerian judiciary.
“Whereas some miscreants hide under the canopy of Islam to kill, maim and destroy properties, young Muslim students in South Western Nigeria have tolerated insults, abuses, intimidation, coercion and even corporal punishment without raising a single finger, not even once.
“All these because they demanded their Allah-given fundamental human right and their civil liberty to wear hijab as enshrined in Section 38(i) & (ii) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. They patiently exhibited forbearance of the humiliation for more than sixty years.
“Instead of holding demonstrations and disturbing the flow of traffic, instead of towing the path of violence, they elected to follow the path of litigation. The journey in the law courts have lasted about nine years but these children waited patiently until the highest court in the land made its supreme pronouncement.
“Alas who did we find mocking the judgement? Who did we find rebelling against the wisdom of the highest court of the land? A learned, a robed lawyer in voodoo garb! If this is not the height of impunity, then we do not know what else to call it. We will be shocked to our marrows if the relevant authorities do nothing about this. It will be an invitation to lawlessness if Omirhobo is allowed to get away with this.
“We have no doubt, however, that this attempt to ridicule the judgement of the Supreme Court on hijab will fail. What happened to all the gymnastic namby-pamby and articulated razzle-dazzle that followed the approval of hijab by an Oshogbo high court years ago?
“The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) instructed Christian students to wear Sango, Obatala, masquerade, church choir garments, etc to school and they actually did. But MURIC told them at that time that it would not last. We said they would soon get tired of it. Well, did it last? Yet hijab is still being worn by female Muslim students in Osun State today without being challenged. So we know where Omirhobo’s acrobatic razzmatazz is coming from. He has failed already. Divine truth will always overwhelm social truth.
“To Chief Malcolm Omirhobo, MURIC has this to say, ‘Your dramatic abracadabra will fail unless there is another court above the Supreme Court. We will defeat you with our decency and discipline. We will defeat you with exchange of love for your hatred.
“‘Chief Omirhobo, we love you. But the issue remains whether or not you love yourself. If indeed you love yourself, accept the Supreme Court judgement on hijab in good faith. Stop desecrating the much reverred law profession. Those of us who are not learned should not be the ones teaching you to respect the rule of law.
“‘If you so wish, continue to wear your Babalawo lawyer dress to court everyday. Wear it everywhere (to the supermarket, hairdresser’s shop, petrol station, etc) the same way Muslim women have been wearing their own hijab’ and see the reaction of your personal friends. A word is enough for the wise.’”
So, there you have it. What do you think about this? For me, although I'm not in support of anybody showing any form of hatred or dislike for any religion, not religion however should be made to rule over another. If a religion can be allowed to wear a certain clothing, shouldn't the others be allowed to wear theirs?

The wasteful nature of man.

I want to take this time to celebrate all great fathers out there. You guys have been awesome and fantastic. Just so you'd know, I am not only referring to those who have given birth but to all guys and men out there that are already shouldering the responsibilities of their family or that of a group. You have been wonderful.
To the matters of the day, I was surfing through the internet when I saw a title that caught my attention. It read '***the main cause of species extinction'.*** I was about scrolling up from it, reason been that as science student, the topic as been treated many times in the different levels of education. So I didn't seem it worthy to still waste my time reading what I know. But I decided to read this one, who know, I might learn something new? Or did I? After reading about 5 paragraphs, I deduced that three things are mostly the cause of animal extinction this are;
Andropological activities (that is the various activities of man and the consequences they have on the ecosystem).
Animal and population factor; this includes the number of the species of the animals (the fewer they are, the higher the probability to become extinct), introduction of endemic or non favourable species that can attack and reduce the number of another species to near extinction and lastly diseases and famine.
The last one is loss of habitats, weather and climates; animals live comfortably in their habitats. They can grow, multiply and even evolve when they have all the necessary materials for these and all these materials are found in their natural habitats. Destroying their habitats is equal to killing them off.
After taken a careful look at the three major causes, I concluded that man is indeed wasteful. Reason been that he is involved in atleast 2 of the major cause of extinction. We burn, we kill, we take, we destroy, we evaporate, we eat, we wear and do all manner of things even when we don't have to do them. Take for example, I read a journal during the covid lockdown times. It said of a cure that was under way to be produced by I think UK or so. One of the materials that would be need to produce this cure was the blood of a horse-shoe crab. It was said that it was going to be an Herculean task to get sufficient amount of this animal to be able to mass produce the vaccine. When asked why, a medical lab scientist said it was because they have been over exploited and harvested from the shore. He said the local folks that live around the seashore which was the natural habitat of this crab had over harvested for food, games and entertainment. He even said them turned it to a contest show where the person that capture and kills the most crab is the winner.
That's indeed fun, right? But this is what an ecosystem conservationist has to say; He said by due to this over exploitation and harvesting of the crabs, it has adversely resulted to the reduction in the number of that particular species and one of the implication is this is that it has really affected the food chain and consecutively the food web. Animals that once feed on this species will have to either switch to another species of animal (which may lead to the decrease and near extinction of that other animal and also an increase in competition for the same animal) or they would died off since they are not able to find suitable substitute to feed on.
Another implication it has on food chain and web is that the animals or plants this species of crab used to feed on will definitely grow and multiply unchecked and out of proportion which may lead to them dominating an area, causing spread of diseases if they are vectors to some parasites, block waterways or water tunnels, occupy useful space, etc. Now that is just on food chain and food web, what of every other sector both the relating to the species itself and other species it interacts with?
Now, an unforseen event occured where when the world needed it the most, the wasteful nature of man denied it! It is said that not much by man is needed to destroy the both man and the world at large.
This made me remember a day a frog (I thought it was gold frog, a critically endangered species of frogs) was killed in my compound. It was at night and we were preparing to go to bed. Being the last person outside, I was told to pack somethings inside and lock the doors. As I was about to take the last item inside, I was something jumped out of it, I dropped the object and decided to look for whatever it was that jumped out of the object. Lo and behold! There it was a shiny gold colored frog. I have never seen any beautiful frog like that in my life (for the note, I am not a frog lover😂). So, out of my excitement, I called my mom to come look at this beautiful creature. I wished I hadn't because immediately she came out and saw this innocent frog, the next was that she was looking for broom to kill the frog. I tried all my best to protect the frog from be murdered by my mom but when it felt like I was gonna lose the fight, I decided to play along with my mom. So I collect the broom from her and told her that I will kill it. She asked me to do it in her presence. I raised up the broom, brought it down with force but gentle landed it on the frog. So I trapped the frog in the broom, went to a new by burn and set it free there. If it got into a thick forest or bush, it is safe, but if another person meets it then death may be inevitable.
Anyways, I don't know why humans have to have that character of killing and destroying and eating everything up. Thank God for conservationists and animal rights, maybe most of the animals we have around today would have gone into extinction.

Living is more than breathing, then what is living?

As I was preparing to leave for my house morning to go teach one of my students, I decided to listen to some messages on my phone while I prepare. Choose which one to listen to was not really easy because I have a whole lots of them on my phone but I decided to go with the one a very popular man of God; Apostle Orokpo. And as I listened to his teaching, it got a point I decided to pause the message because he had struck a cord that had provoked my mental faculty to engage in intense thought.
He said '...*because breathing is not living*'.
There are phrases like; 'immediately I heard his voice, I became Alive!' or 'Now I can say I am living' or 'I am more or less a walking dead- man'. This is all point out that that statement is true. You are not really living because you breathe but because you have some thing in your capacity or that you can perform some function or that you have regained a lost asset. Which ever one it is, you only say you are living not only because you are breathing but you are a living being 😁
Back to Apostle Orokpo, as I began to ruminate on those words, I found out that in God's perspective, most people are actually not living. Take for example in the garden of Eden before the fall of man, God's first and only commandment to Adam was: "**Do not eat of this tree, because the day you eat from it, you shall die!**" Now if we look at that sentence, we are suppose to witness the physical death of Adam and possible the decay of his flesh and bones. But this wasn't the case, infact the reverse happened; 'his eyes became opened and he knows good and bad and he knew that both he and Eve were naked' (I paraphrased). Then, what went wrong? The truth is what we call death isn't what God calls it same goes for living. Take for example, God called himself the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob whereas he as said he is the God of the living. Jesus made us to understand that these people even though we can see that physically they no longer in existence, yet their are in the bossom of God. They have been translated to another life form through a bridge called death are now living forever before God!
Coming back to Adam, before his fall, Adam had enjoyed the fellowship of his creator and friend so much that he had become accostumed to his visitation. Infact the Bible says God regularly comes down to visit his and fellowship with him. Now fellowship here does not only mean giving instructions, but also playing, talking, walking and all other forms of fellowshipping. Now fast forward to when he sinned, the same God that had been with and knows all things, suddenly can't see him again. The same Adam that has always enjoyed the presence of his creator friend and walked with him ran to take cover when he heard God moving in the garden! What a pitiful state😢 Listen to the conversation between them;
Genesis 3:7-10
[7]And the eyes of them both were opened, **and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.**
[8]And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
[9]And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
[10]And he said, **I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.**
Notice the statement that they had sewed fig leaves and had made aprons out of them, yet when his Lord came, he said; I heard your voice (which used to be sweet and comforting and friendly and full of mercy and compassion) and I was Afraid (which was not supposed to be since he was created in the likeness of God, but now he has taken another form), because I was NAKED (even though he had sewed fig leaves and covered himself, he is still make before the judge of the whole world) and I hid myself! And that's the death! He became disconnected from God, he became an outcast from the presence of his maker. And worst still his spirit which was supposed to sustain his body to enable him live forever died thereby bringing the play the nature and process of physical death. He had died a Spiritual one before a physical one
So there you have it, whatever it is you have or you are, if you are not connected to God then you are dead before him. If you have all the riches or clothes or wisdom or beauty or anything it maybe and your life is good of the kingship and influence of God's kingdom then you are not living. Look at what king Solomon the wisest and richest king to ever lived wrote;
Ecclesiastes 1:2-3,8,13,16-18
[2]Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.
[3]What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?
[8]All things are full of labour; man cannot utter it: **the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.**
[**13]And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven**: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith.
[16]I communed with mine own heart, saying, **Lo, I am come to great estate, and have gotten more wisdom than all they that have been before me in Jerusalem: yea, my heart had great experience of wisdom and knowledge**.
[17]And I gave my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly: **I perceived that this also is vexation of spirit.**

What does failure tastes like?

We have all had a taste of success or victory and can definitely say a thing or two about it. There are times we feel like we are on top of the world and think it will all be rosy as from that point hence forth only to come back to a state of dejection, gloominess or even failure. At Las, even 'happily ever after' does not exist in the real world for after a happy moment, a time of sadness is bound to surely come. And that's what life is truly about.
But no one wants failure nor the taste it leaves behind. Taste of failure is definitely not better than the taste of success but a memorable one, because unless and until you know what failure is, you won't give respect to your success that it deserves.

Learn from your failure
Many people while they hate failure fail to learn from it. And this creates a vacuum in them which, instead of channeling them towards success, they receive what they hated the most, FAILURE! So, failing isn't the main thing, the main thing is if you are willing to take advantage of the nasty taste it leaves behind and make the best out of it.
I love the way Aseem Puri puts it;

*Failure is but a milestone on the inevitable journey to success.*

We've all all heard about writer's block and the sudden lack enthusiasm to write or publish. This should have been the case with me cos for the days now, I have not publish a single article on this platform. I guess my week as been what the French calls; *çomme si, çomma ça.*
This non enthusiastic attitude started last week when I publish some articles and Rusty decided to turn bind eye to them. It was then that a friend actually introduced to another platform that pays for writing. And the payment for publish on that platform is really high, but that's according to the advert. Personally, I can say it's true or not cos I have not really posted anything on since I registered cos I was busy learn how to upgrade my writing skills so I can, atleast, make good income out of it. Unlike read.cash where you **just write,** what you write on this one really matters.

Perfection/success has a price, can you pay it?
*Hello readers,*
I used have posted this article since yesterday, but for some technical reasons, I wasn't able to do so. So I decided to upload it as my today's task.
There is a common belief held by all, or at least a larger percentage of people, that everything has a price to be paid. Whether you do good or bad, there is always a price to pay. Even the so-called freebies come with it own price only that with different items comes different prices. It may be minimal or massive. Bit it is important to know this that the higher the value of such item (this includes both the physically held ones and the abstract ones), the higher the price to pay. Take for example; we all or most say "salvation is free" but through is this? Let look at it from two angles; God's sideview and the recipient sideview.
God's sideview
Well, I think we would all agree that it costly God the salvation he gave to man a great deal, right? Taking the pain of leaving heaven's throne and putting on flesh to come and be treated like a person with no dignity, family or friends and the end, got hanged on a tree (cross) just for the sins of a sinful creature! That's a whole lot of prices and sacrifices right? Most would say Jesus was able to endure all that because he was part divine and partly human, but the true of the matter is Christ came in flesh, lived as a human (meaning he had human needs, want and feelings), suffered in the flesh and the experienced real pain and sufferings. So from God's end, it is truly a hug price to pay and why? To reconcile man to himself! Why; so that all of creation maybe in unity (perfection) again.
The recipient sideview
So Jesus paid all the debt, but did it end there? No, the recipient of the grace released by Jesus still have his own work/price to pay. These includes; believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, accepting his Lordship, consistently walking and working in him this becoming pruned which will ultimately lead to him losing some thing, even those things he loves and cherishes even his life! So, I guess, salvation isn't all the free, right? The Bible also said 'work out thy salvation with fear and trembling'. So you must work!
The prices of success/perfection
As it is God's kingdom, even so it is in the world. But before we dive in to the discuss, I'd like to point out that I used success in this is context interchangeably with perfection as this article was birthed when I read @Aimure article; Chase perfection, catch excellence. So, in his article, Aimure tried to explain what his own concept of perfection is and I must say, he is right according to my judgement. We all have different perspective of what success is and therefore why I term as success may be another person's definition of failure. But no matter the definition giving to success, for one to really achieve you must pay certain prices. It may be time, money, energy or tangible things. Take for example; if I want to become really muscular, then I must train harder, spend more time in the gym, look up some trainings that can help me, may employ a trainer or gym instructor and be consistent. Yea, I'm gonna sweat, get fatique, spend money, etc. Hence they say, ***No pain, no gain***
You might not be planning to become a body builder, whatever it is you are planning on becoming or want to achieve, make sure you have it at the back of your mind that it has a price and whether or not you're ready and willing to pay that price will determine the level of progress you'd make in that area.
Are you ready to pay the price?
This is a question we should all ask anytime we are about to embark on a journey. Jesus said it in a beautiful way;
Luke 14:28-32
[28]For which of you, intending to build a tower, **sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?**
[29]Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, **all that behold it begin to mock him,**
[30]Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
[31]Or what king, going to make war against another king, **sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?**
[32]Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and **desireth conditions of peace.**
So, as much as perfection is desired in any area of life, it is important to sit and analyze if you can pay the price which, in most cases, must include Time. To every success story, the time duration taken to accomplish such feat is very crucial. Some may require little time while some may require a longer time phrase but that is not the issue, the issue is in whatever situation are you ready to wait and see that goal achieved? In @Aimure article, he closed the topic with a beautiful quote which I found lovely and mesmerizing 🥰 he said;
'*I guess that is what matters in the end isn't it?* ***A job well done***'.

What country do you think has the worst English accent?

One of the major differences between the different races of world is language diversity and the pronounciation of certain words in the most spoken language, English language. But truth of the matter is you can only be as good as you can in your own field not another person's. While it is quite easy for some countries to pronounce these words, it is something else in other countries especially where their native language is commonly spoken and learn to speak English is by going to school. Countries like Netherlands, USA, UK, and other northen and southern America and it environs will have very little problem pronouncing almost all words in English language simply because it is their native language and they are brought up speaking that language, but this doesn't mean they don't have difficulty in pronouncing some words.
*Do you know that an average American pronounces the word 'Ruined' as 'Ronned'?*
*Do you also know that some average Americans can't spell some English words. And also some terrible in their tenses?*
So, I guess they are not excluded because they are natively English, right?
But some races and tribes just have a terrible English so strong that when someone from that part of the world speak, you can easily detect that he is from that country.

**India**
I think of all the countries with the weirdest English language, India ranks the number one. I guess this is because their tongue has been professional twisted by the angel that manufactures to accurately adapt to only their language but successfully fail at others. Do you watch zeeworld? Then you should know what I am taking about 😁 but this doesn't mean that some of them (though extremely minute part of indians) can flawlessly speak fluent English without the usual twist.
There was one day I was watching a program on TV and an Indian guy was being interviewed, I could hardly hear a word, I had to extra strain my ears and listen with the utmost attention. But all in all, Indians are great,they are one of the very strong and determined people on Earth. One thing I love about indians is their love for their mother's nation and the ability to preserve their culture in all totality unlike we African. Looking at this from another angle, I think speaking Hindu will be very hard especially for an Englishman or me.

**CHINA**
Though most Chinese now speak very fluent English but in time past, their English accent is as good as not speaking it cos you would think they are speaking Chinese. I guess they have evolved, abi?😅
**THE YORUBA TRIBE OF NIGERIA**
This is my tribe. Though most Yorubas are learned or atleast understands and can speak English, but our yoruba accent still reflects in our English. Where the Indian suffers from tongue twisting, he is still able o speak the correct version of the English language, Yoruba own is not like that. Infact we speak what we ourselves call Yoruba English 🤣😅 cos speak English language with a Yoruba meaning and our yoruba must reflect in that English
For example; *instead of "will you go there tomorrow?" We would say "shey you will go there tomorrow?"*
Another contributing factor to this is a our alphabet and phonetic sounds. We don't have c, v, ch and z. So instead of saying 'children' you are mostly likely to hear us say 'shildren'. 😅 Another thing is our intonation. Omo, we dey kill English on a steady with that intonation. But God is our strength.

When we talk killing a language, Igbo put in more efforts, literally 🤣😂 atleast others would kill the language quietly but in the Igbo case, they usually do it with energy and mostly shouting. You will see them gesturing as they continue to speak their accents. If you want get an Igbo man to speak his original accent, get him angry over money issue, then you will get the full gist.

Anyways, all accents are beautiful and special. English is only the native language of British, even the American speak America language not actually English, so no one should be blamed for not been able to speak English fluently. I bet the Englishman will have extreme difficulty if he tries to learn an African language especially languages like hausa, Igbo or french. So enjoy your accent, it shows you belong somewhere. Following the recent developments in my country, Nigeria, it is no more news that surviving in that country, you will need lots of guts, carefulness and ability to 'japa' (run away) at the sight of any danger big or small.
But Nigeria can be a funny place, as we are always to quick to get over things. I guess that's one of the things that is still keeping us going. Not that we forget the incident but we have developed ways of lifting the burdens and anxiety it may leave behind from our chest. While I was trying to get the load off my mind, I decided to watch some videos on phoenix. Though the first video I saw was about a bank looting in Aba or so. I think the bank (Access bank ) had done something wrong to the community and they decided to teach them some lesson by looting and destroy the bank's property. Sad right? I guess that Nigeria for you.
Pranks
Coming to the real issue. I went on to watch some videos on pranks. The first one I saw was that of @Trylips on YouTube. He pranked people by running wildly and shouting 'they are coming o' and people joined in the run, without even bothering to ask who is coming 🤣😅 One man even had to jump and enter a waste bin collector thinking it was attack. I guess that's what Nigeria as become; A place of where evil is expected.

There was this one I also Watched he called it 'the invincible danger'. This one is really funny and it kind of performed miracles as a fake cripple man on a wheelchair got instant healing. He stood up and started running 😱😅🤣🤣 Machi gold don end that guy's career of scam people 🤣

I have watched a lot of prank videos before. Mother prank, relationship pranks, miracle prank as the above and so on and yes, I myself have been pranked before. I was pranked by one of my female friends. It was really funny. Some of my friends have also pranked me before. I remember the day a friend of mine pranks. She told me that a lecturer was in class that day. I stay off campus while she stays in the school hostel. The speed with which I dressed up and rush down to the school was amazing. Normally, it takes me atleast 20mins to walk from my house to my school but it took me just 13mins that day. Reaching the lecture theatre, I was sweating like someone working beside a furnace and was breathing heavily like an he-goat. Lo and behold, the whole departmental building was empty and quiet.
You can imagine the shock on my face. I was just so disorganized and confused. I decided to call the idiot only to hear her shout **'APRIL FOOL!!!'.** OMG! You can imagine the pain in my heart. The girl was comfortably sitting in her hostel chilling, while I was stressed Beyond measures. The most annoying thing was, I was sleeping when she call me!☹️ I was just swearing in my heart and plan to beat the living hell out of the girl. So, I went to her hostel and told her to come out. The idiot was even walking out of her hostel majestically to meet me. When she finally got to where I was standing, she just posed there feeling herself. I just couldn't help but burst into laughter 😂😂 All that anger just melted, I guess that is the power of Pranks.🤣😅

Nigeria on fire; bloodbath in my locale.

It's been days since I posted on this platform. And this has already dented my plan to post atleast once a day. There are several factors that contributed to this from work schedule to the very incident that happened in my country yesterday. But here I'm, writing on this platform form again. All praise to God almighty.
Speaking of the incident that happened yesterday, we just go home from church yesterday been Sunday and I was actually bubbling with so much joy in my heart. Then where I sat on the couch trying to think of what topic I should write on when I suddenly heard my mom shouting from her seat. I stood up and got close to her. She was watching a video from a WhatsApp platform. I could see so many blood I had to ask her if it was an accident that has occurred.
Bloodbath at St. Patrick's church
It was actually the work of some wicked and devilish Fulani herdsmen. According to eye witness, the church Reverend father had declared the mass ended and everyone was already getting up to start going to their various houses when suddenly they started hearing gunshots from outside the church building. The evil workers had laid an ambush on the worshippers. They had entered through the fence and the gate. The first person they met was a guy selling icecream and he was shot dead immediately. They then tried entering the church but the people inside the church had closed the doors. After over 20mins, the worshippers opened the door thinking the evil men had gone but was wrong. They opened fire on them killing everyone in sight. It was also said that they started checking their victims to make sure non was alive and repeatedly shot at those perceived to still be alive. After that they threw dynamites into the church ceiling causing people to be trapped under the rumbles.
It was really a gory sight as men, women and even small children were killed, maimed or injured in the attack. The number of people that died are yet to be determined but it was said that over 28 bodies have been counted and atleast 57 people were critically injured.
The bloodbath continues
Just as I was writing this article tonight, my mom just informed me of another video circulating on social Media. It was the video of one the wicked gunmen that attacked the church. He said that they are take over Nigeria government as Buhari will be handling power over to them after the October 2023. He said that anybody that is not a fulani should start fleeing from Nigeria to any neighboring countries as there will be no where to hide.
The Fulani agenda
Since about 2 to 3 years now, the Fulanis especially their herdsmen has been terrorising Nigeria, killing, maiming, beheading and kidnapping innocent people. They demand huge amount of money to be paid as ransom. And even after paying the ransom, they still end of killing some of their victims.
In my own perspective, I think these money are been used to purchased weapons which will be used in their attacks and wars, not necessarily to enrich themselves. And believe me, some of those northern leader are sponsoring them.
Some years ago, a minister leaked an information online where he disclosed the original leader of Boko Haram in Nigeria. He said it was one of the northern governors. He even went ahead to disclose some of their agenda and he frankly mentioned what we are witnessing today. He said the specific year with was 2023 that they proposed to hijack governance by force under the pretence of been Boko Haram fighters but in truth, they are the very Fulanis inhabiting Nigeria.
About 4 to 5 years ago, I actually had a vision (I don't know of you believe in visions and the voice of God, but I do, not only because the Bible says so but because I have witnessed it personally on a very accurate level. I think @Aimure still remember the incident that happened when we were in I think 100level about my transfer stuff). In the vision, I saw some group of people holding a meeting and deliberating on how they are going to take over Nigeria and kill people especially Christians. I told a pastor who heads a church behind my house and he said it was a lie that no one can ever try to take over Nigeria talkless of actually taking over it. Well, two weeks after, a letter was sent to the community. It was from the Fulanis then. It was actually leaked by one of them whom they thought was a fulani but in fact she is a Yoruba lady. The letter was addressed to all Fulanis living in Yoruba land. It said they should prepare for war as they will be fighting and killing any one who is not a fulani. It also said they should remember Usman Dan Fodio (he was the one that brought Islam to the then northen Nigeria through a very rigorous and terrible warfare. You can look it up on the internet). Then to prove it, a month later, the attacks on the southerners and westerners began.
What to do?
This is very perilous time indeed but we shouldn't take it lightly also. We need to get weapons anything at all that can protect us or atleast act as an offence mechanism for us cause, **WE ARE AT WAR** and it doesn't matter wether you see at that way or not, but the wicked Fulanis see it that way and to them, that's all that matters. We mustn't fold our arms and sit down waiting to be killed at any moment. This is the time to be extremely careful, vigilant and active. Just some hours ago, a truck was intercepted by the state security agencies. This truck was conveying loads of Fulanis and brand-new AK-47s. Funny thing is this actually happened in state and the location is just a few kilometers away from my house. The people around should have just carry out justice on them and destroy them all. He that kills doesn't deserve to live, that's just the way I see it! Yes, our weapons are not canal but the Bible also says for our enemies are not flesh and blood so we can't use physical weapons for them. These wicked people are controlled by very strong wicked spirits but we must fight them with both the spiritual weapons of prayer and the physical weapons we can lay our hands on. This is a very very sad and scary time indeed.
Funny thing I live with them, we built on house where they are most populated. They have threatened us so many times. There was even a time they killed and beheaded the children of our community chairman, but this hasn't deter us because this is our land and we will defend it to the fullness.
Hmm, this time to shall pass, and Nigeria shall be restored to it glorious days but it mustn't be at the expense of your blood or those of your loved ones. Hence, we must stand and fight or else we would be no where to be found.
So, pray, pray and really pray and act. Good news is that God has promised that as much as many that would pray to him and seek his protection in purity and sincerity no harm shall come near their dwelling. So, why not pray and seek for God's protection and grace to help you and your family survive this trying times.
One annoying thing is that despite all that is happening, this b*St*rd Yoruba politicians are only concerned about the election. They continue to cast a blind eye to all the suffering and death of the innocent. They have forgotten to that when the grasses have been completely burnt up, the tree is next! A time is coming when they will have to be wearing outward bulletproof vest and iron suit just to protect themselves from bullet and mob attacks.
I pray God help us at this very critical time. Remember; pray and act. Be vigilant, be active, hold a protect material with you whenever you are going out. It might seem like a joke to you but that is the reality of things now. I pray we will not be a victim of evil event in Jesus name amen.

What about Motivational posts?

It is a common thing to see motivational posts these days ranging from pictures to short videos. Clips from movies are being used and sometimes it is musical pictures. These motivational post really go a long way in helping people, atleast those that accept the messages and those that are really willing to have a change of state. For it is a different thing to hear and another thing to accept it (as some people could have allowed their situation and misfortune eaten deep into them that they will just slowly yet unconsciously build a hard thick wall of defence around their heart to prevent any motivational words from entering. They are already used to failure and negativity that they can't don't think positivity and success is possible anymore). It is also another thing to accept and another thing to put it to use.
Most people usually stop at the accepting stage. They don't have the capacity to go into the application stage and the result is that the words they have heard becomes useless to them as it doesn't profit them in any way. I personally see motivational posts as a way of rescuing people from the pit of depression, dejection, shame, lack of confidence and desperation. Sometimes ago, I started thinking of motivational posts or speakers as a positive way of brainwashing people into doing the right thing (No all by the way😂). Take for example; a clip of a pastor preaching on one taking charge of life was shared and he said:

He was trying to say, no matter how difficult life maybe, God will never allow his people God hungry or that they won't have to settle for the less. Cool words right? Yeah, not no until some funny individuals made another clip of a lion in the zoo weakly eaten few grasses and emerges it with that vid of the pastor. Though it was hilarious but of course not true. We all know lions are carnivorous animals meaning THEY DON'T ***SURVIVE*** ON GRASSES. Though this doesn't mean that they don't eat grasses at all, they do if they have an upset stomach. They do this to cause a stomach irritation which eventually lead them to vomiting anything causing the discomfort alongside the grasses they have taken in. So, it's safe to say to a large extent that NO MATTER THE RECESSION IN AND SCARCITY OF FOOD IN THE FOREST, A LION WILL NEVER EAT GRASS.
The stars of motivational posts
Have you notice the examples and individuals used by motivational post makers? I call them 'MOTIVATIONAL STARS'😁
They are of different categories from animals stars to plant stars to human stars. By these all have some things in common. These are; confidence, resilience, endurance and focus. Mind you so many others have pass through that same situation but their performance are nothing to write home about. I guess what I'm trying to say is;
**'The world will recognise you as a star only when you fulfill the requirements of being a star'**
I saw a video of a warthog fighting off two female lionesses who were about to kill her piglets. She stood her ground and defended her piglets from becoming the breakfast of some pride of lions. On a norms, a warthog is expected to run for it life no matter what, but this one stood it and defended it piglets. Sure, that bravery and determination made it a MOTIVATIONAL STAR.
Another one is the fight of some Africa buffaloes trying to rescue one of their own from being killed by a group of lions. So, they made it to the hall of fame of the team work segment of MOTIVATIONAL STARS. But doesn't mean buffaloes would naturally want to confront a lion only the sick headed ones would dare defy the Almighty Lions.
Among humans I guess I don't have to say much as we must definitely have some echoing in our minds right now. It doesn't happen by chance, they don't become superstars by wishes, it took them; TIME, DETERMINATION, FOCUS (which of course has a specific direction), RESOURCES, PAIN, ENDURANCE and also EFFORT.

Writer's block
**Salut famz,**
Today went well to say the least. I stay at home for almost all of today except for when I went out to fill our gas cylinder at the gas station. It has been a while since I left my neighborhood as I am what most Nigerians in the west would call 'Omo get inside'🤭 Well, even though I stayed at home for a good part of the day, I was still able to make good use of my time. I helped my mom with some of her office works which involves some calculations and recordings. Accounting job is not for the hungry stomachs, no not all! At a point, I literally began to see double figures. I had to leave it for a while to get myself together and receive some fresh air. I guess this is why I never liked commercial courses no offence.
Then, I started thinking of what to write today and funny enough, I couldn't seem to get any. Even when I was on the bike on my way to the gas station, I still couldn't get any thing as I was looking around for an event or topic I could write on. That's what they call Writer's block right? When I think I finally got my own share today.
Well, there is this one that just popped up in my mind just now. It's about how some people would rather settle for the less rather than take an extra step or make an extra effort to get the max out of everything. There is this woman that recently employed me to catch her son for JAMB exam. But I noticed something strange after a week and half into the coaching. Before taking the job, the woman told me her son was already reading before and that she had even stopped her from going to school so he could read more. Honestly, I was really happy when she said that thinking it will make my work easier. The boy even confirmed that what the mother said. But when I started teaching the boy, I got the shock of my life. He does not even know what nutrition or cell in biology is or mole in chemistry or fundamental and derived quantities in physics are! I was as shocked as you probably are right now. I tried my possible best, overworked myself (for perfection sake), gave the boy timetable and assignments (most of which he wouldn't do), and when he fails in keeping up or voluntarily leave the assignment undone, I reported this to his mom and guess the answer she gave me? That I should just do what I can do, just try to give him the probable questions that will come out (as if I was some sort of JAMB officials setting the questions), and lastly, I should let him rest. It's not like I engaged him in a marathon coaching. I usually start from around 10a.m and end around 4pm. That's a six hours lectures which is only done during the weekdays. Saturday's lectures start from around 12-1Pm to around 4pm. And mind you she employed me 3weeks and some days to the exam. There were other jambites in the neighborhood who would go to their coaching centres around 7-8am in the morning and end around 6pm in the evening, I'm not exaggerating. And some would even attend lectures on Sundays. Mind they have been attending this coaching centres since last year November.
Well, seeing both the mom and son's response to the lesson, I decided to give myself some rest as I was already getting lean due to me overworking myself although my conscience wasn't at rest because I felt like I was cheating them as they are paying for a service I wasn't delivering in full capacity even though the blame was on them. I thought that was all until I got another shock of my life.
A week to the exam, the woman told me to take her son to a CBT center so he can practice with a computer. I took him to one of JAMB official centers and register him for the training. He was also given the opportunity to participate in a mock exam even though it has ended some weeks ago. After about 3 hours, he was done with the training and exam and was coming out with a big smile on his face that was almost showing all his teeth. I was filled with some joy in my heart co I thought he had done really well. Who would come out of an exam Hall with that kind of smile unless he had done well? So, I asked him if he was able to attempt all the questions well. He said yes with the Exception of physics which remained just two. I asked if it was simple he said very simple. Be even said they gave them their scores after they finished the exams. He said he really did well. I was already teeming with joy in my heart thinking he was in his right senses, but he wasn't. You will know why I said he wasn't in his right sense very soon.
When I finally asked him what his score was, he, with all smiles and confidence, almost shouted 197! I believed my ears were not functioning well at that period so asked him again. He repeated it this time with ecstacy. I repeated the score to him so I can be certain I was hearing right. He confirmed it that it was 197. 197 out of 400? And he was happy? It was then I knew I missed road and the Igbos would say. After writing the real exam, I was praying that God will have mercy on him and let him pass, cos non of my students have failed before. I didn't even bother to tell God to let him remember what he read, how am I sure he opened the textbook?
Fast forward. So the result of the exam came and his mom called me informing me that he passed the exam. She was thanking profusely on the phone and I'm sure if I was with her physically, she would have given me a hug. When I asked what he scored, she said 209. One part of me felt like insulting her for thanking me earlier, but I wasn't taught to insult my elders not have I done it before, so I kept my cool. I thanked her and hung my phone. I was so angry all day.
About 3 days later, she called me again t come and coach her son for the WAEC exams. He wanted to write it so I could use it overseas as the parent her planning on sending him abroad. I have resolved to do within the parent's limit. I'll only go to their place when they call me and will not spend above 3 hours there, so help me God Amen.

Hope your Sunday was filled with power, joy and peace? I'd say it was for me, even though I dozed off a bit during the sermon 🤭 This was because the invited preacher was busy talking about 'his good old days' and the current economic crisis. Although it got bored at some point and I dozed off, I was still able to grasp one or two knowledge from his numerous words.
The most powerful force
There are so many things we can consider as having much influence and power and force on planet Earth. Most people would opt in for the option of Love (which to a very large extent is true), but I'll go for a little lesser one; **UNITY**
**UNITY**;
Oneness; the state or fact of being one undivided entity.
A single undivided thing, seen as complete in itself.
Unity is one the greatest force on Earth. It is so powerful that it can bring about unimaginable changes and victory and it can also be used as a weapon to bring destruction to a thing.
Unity in God's kingdom
God himself, recognises the importance and power of unity. Infact God is God because there is a form of unity existing in the Godhead. The word 'God' in book of Genesis is '*Elohim*' in Hebrew. It signifies the multiphase yet singlarity the Godhead. Jesus said ' I and my father are one. I do what I see the father doing. The holy spirit shall take from God and also from me, for all the father has is mine, and declare it to you' declaring openly that he, his father and the holy spirit are in sync or in unity.
In the first occurrence of unity recorded in the Bible in the book of Genesis, it shows the u limitless power of unity. The people were so unities and of singleness of heart and thought so much that God himself had to stand up from his throne and visit the earth to see what the children of man are making. Here is how God puts unity among men;
Genesis 11:5-8
[5]And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
[6]**And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.**
[7]Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
[8]So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
Wow, isn't that amazing! Let me share the verse again: ***Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.*** Then***,*** I think we can safely deduce from this passage that the major cause of suffering, pains and war in the world today is majorly caused by lack of unity amongst men.
Going back to the story in this verse, God seeing the innovation and exploitation of man, had to disrupt the flow of the project by causing a confusion which brought about disunity and discord amongst them. Question: why would God have to do that? This is because if God had not done that, then probably men would have accomplished what devil really wanted; to dethrone God and interfere in the dealings of heaven.
The importance of unity cannot be overemphasized, this is because if can bring about the greatest joy, massive achievements, success and peace beyond imaginations. If there is unity amongst friends, family and a community, there will be peace and progress in that gathering.

Interesting! For those of us that have some knowledge about theology you will understand the anointing signifies oneness and a union of the supernatural and the natural to ensure the manifestation of God's ability in one. King David compares that ability to the one experienced when men live in oneness, in unity in singleness of heart. What amazing power that is!
Unity amongst men and in man
We have discussed the great potentials unity is able to achieve as relevant to God's kingdom, but much more man has to come together to ensure that unity is a realisation amongst them. The way to destroy any kingdom according to how Jesus puts it in the Bible is DISUNITY;
Matthew 12:25
[25]And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, **Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:**
But much more importantly it is of uttermost Paramount that we find unity and oneness in ourselves. This is the sole aim of undergoing meditation sections and other self unifying activities. One the stronghold for addiction in a person's life is the disagreement among the person's entity which is the body, soul and spirit. The spirit doesn't want to do that particular thing again but the flesh enjoys it and this causes a war in the person rendering him a slave to whomever he submits which is the flesh at most times which results in dejection, weariness and sadness.

*Constructive criticism is a helpful way of giving feedback that provides specific, actionable suggestions. Rather than providing general advice, constructive criticism gives specific recommendations on how to make positive improvements. Constructive criticism is clear, to the point and easy to put into action.*
A generally acceptable truth is that we all make mistakes whether deliberately or not. Another one we is all exhibit folly. Ever work on a world bank backed project?

In my last article, o told you guys that I was going to share my experience on a job I was called for on Monday. It was a job funded by the world bank. I should have updated you guys on that but the power supply in my area (and in all parts of Nigeria generally) is nothing to write home about. Once it rains in Nigeria, don't expect power supply.
The world bank is really into serious development programs for the urban and rural areas of it members especially of developing countries. They embark on projects that can minimize unemployment rate, death toll and even poverty alleviation program. During our training session on Sunday, I was exposed to just some few but extremely awesome project this body has executed in the last few years. The one I went for was on **Erosion and surrounding Management plan (ESMP).** This is actually my first time of work on project that is sponsored by world Bank. The job was quite simply and only took a day for my team to accomplish since the people of the community we were assigned to responded well and fast.
Our job was to act as an enumerator, asking some vital questions from the people of the community and documenting it in the questionnaires given to us. This questions will help the agency to know how to combat their problem and also what advice and infrastructure they will be providing for that community. It was quite a wonderful and fun section for me as I was able to utilize the opportunity to brush up my communication and interaction skills. At a point, I was acting like a well trained professional NGO agent 😁 at another point I was acting as a seasoned awareness campaigner ✌️
Brief on the project
The community had written a letter to the world bank agency office asking for their immediately help and intervention as regards their roads and topography which has been destroyed by erosions called by the water body diverted to their region by some road construction company when they were constructing a in-town road. I guess we can never really tell who is affected for every road construction done in our area. After writing the letter, the world bank went into action not by just running into the community bearing caterpillars and bull dozers like our state and federal government agencies would. Rather, they first sent their delegate to go ascertain the situation and to hear from the people of the community what there complaint was before they take other steps before the final phase of demolition and construction.
The world bank though in partnership with the state and federal government, doesn't give the project to the government, rather they use the NGOs and other consulting firms and private construction companies to execute their project. This is to ensure that :
There is true intervention
To minimize corruption to the lowest possible means thereby leading to the achievement of their aim which is to provide help and support for the people
To ensure that the project is real and not faked by some corrupted people in the government.
To ensure even distribution of wealth and erase the skewed margin of wealth in the society
To create job opportunities for those recruited for the job e.g An enumerator.
Bringing together firms, consultants, project evaluators, construction companies and the government.
The project is in sequence with the actual construction or execution at the end of the line. They first contact the State or federal government to register the project, then they employ intervention firms to go and evaluate the situation. Next, they employ NGOs who will go to create awareness about the project in the community and solicit for the cooperation of the people of the community. Next, they employ consulting firms e.g **Hospitalia consulting firm** which I worked for, which go and document the responses of the people and also share questionnaires or ask them directly. This firm is will then compile their responses and engage them in sensitization talks to let the see how they actions and negligence has contributed to their current problems. They also ask for any tradition believes, site of cultural heritage or worship site, absence or presence of thugs and thots, and soon. After this, the intervention teams come in, first with landscape evaluation, soil and water sample acquisition, evaluation of collateral damage that may be incurred in the process of executing the project and so on.
Second is to bring all equipment and machinery needed for the project to the project site. And so on.
A funny incident
While acting as an enumerator for this firm, it got to the turn of one woman I was to question. The first question was what her age was. And that was where I got the shock of my life. The woman, whose facial detail is wholeheartedly shouting the age of 63 told me point blank that she is 32! I was shock and froze for sometimes. It was her friend that told her to tell me the truth before she confessed the real age. Why she did that, I can never guess right. Maybe she shy or something, I can never know.
At another one, I asked a woman how she disposes her waste. Omo, the way the woman whispered it to my ear almost made me burst into laughter. She said 'you know, I don't really have much, so I do 'it' in the bush or in the house and then fling it to the bush. Please have mercy on me'. I was like I'm not a prosecutor nor the government why tell me your history 😂😂
When I asked one woman, how she disposes her refuse, she confidently and almost shouted ' I throw it to the bush during dry season and I throw it to the canal during raining season'. I guess I friends thought I was going to use that against her or something 'cos the way they hushed her and told her to say she burns it was hilarious. It came to a point that when I reach the age and mode of disposal side, I am already bursting with laughter inside of me before even asking the questions.
Anyways,it was a fun-filled experience and I hope to do that again very soon not really for the money (na lie, who fun-fill help?😂🤣) but for the experience and exposure.

*Google has removed three Android apps from its Play Store and having them installed on your phone could leave you with a nasty bill. The Mountain View firm has purged its online marketplace after it found the trio of apps were capable of installing the notorious Joker bug. This infamous piece of malware steals money from Android users by secretly signing them up for costly subscription services which can be worth hundreds of pounds a year.*
*The Google Play Store apps – called Style Message, Blood Pressure App and Camera PDF Scanner – were all found to have Joker malware hidden on them by researchers at Kaspersky.*
*In a post online, Igor Golovin explained that bad actors are able to ensure Joker gets past Google’s security measures by having its malicious payload remain dormant during the vetting process, with the malicious functions only becoming active after the app goes live on the Play Store marketplace.*
*Golovin explained: “Trojans from the Trojan.AndroidOS.Jocker family can intercept codes sent in text messages and bypass anti-fraud solutions. They’re usually spread on Google Play, where scammers download legitimate apps from the store, add malicious code to them and re-upload them to the store under a different name. Jealousy at my mom's place

Have not able to upload any post since yesterday all thanks to the power holding company, they have not restored the power light for two days now and I couldn't charge my phone all throughout yesterday. I am already to planning on getting a power bank, I need to constantly be online to be able to read and comment on articles on this platform.
When my mom came back from office yesterday, she shared an event that happened in her place of work yesterday, she was indeed heartbroken yesterday and I could tell she was really in pains from her voice and body gestures. Two days ago, she had told me about how one of her friends had behaved in a suspicious manner. That her friend had called some their colleagues at work and told them that she and the previous boss of my mom that just retired from service would be coming to the office the following day which was yesterday. The boss had some issues with my mom when she was in service and although my mom pleaded with her and try to smoothen things the, the woman wasn't pacified. I had initially thought it was a small thing cos I and my mom's previous boss was a little bit close. She would call me when I was in school to check on me and I would sometimes call her. She would even send me pocket money at times and even call cards. So, when my mom told me that she was not in good terms with the woman I was bother and told her to resolve the issue. She told me she had and I thought that was the end of the story but it turned out it wasn't.
About two years ago, a woman was transferred to my mom's office. Though my mom seldomly makes friends with people, she hardly even goes to her neighbor's house talkless of a friend's house, she decide to take this woman as friend. I think that's one of the things I took from her. Since my first year in the university, I have been to only one of my friends' house and that was because she forced to follow her to her house that day immediately we closed from school. Most of my friends do tease me with it that I am a home stool as I hardly ever leave my house to go to another friend's house. It's been like that since I was a kid, my circle as been me, my sister, father and mom. The circle broke when my dad died and we became a triangle.
Back to the story, she decided to take this woman as a friend simply because they both came from the same town. It's always a nice thing to have some one of the same root in your place of work or school. You will be able to flow with them and express your words in your native language without any hindrance. The friendship between my mom and this woman was going on very smoothly and my mom would tell her almost everything going on with her. I and my sister had to tell her to stop it because no one can be totally trusted. So she started holding some things back from her. Thank good she did if not that woman would have revealed all her secrets to the world. This woman was still there in my mom's office during the service terms of her boss. She was aware of the quarrel between her and my mom and was even advising my mom that she should show the woman that she is not an easy person. She would tell my mom many terrible things that the boss as said behind her. But my mom doesn't believe in back sayings, if you haven't said it to her face, then we won't take you responsible for it. Also, she doesn't backbite, she would rather insult you to your face than say it at your back.
Sorry I diverted again, after the whole quarrel and settling thing, my mom's boss was retired and the other woman was transferred to another office. She was not happy with and her accused some people in the office for the transfer. She went to my mom's boss's house and started telling her false things about my mom. She told her my mom would always gather people round and starts saying bad things about her. She poisoned the woman's mind and the woman too, already nursing wickedness and anger in her heart, took the words as she was being told without calling my mom nor verifying from another source.
The woman then told the boss to go to the office and call a meeting there. She did that yesterday. During the meeting she said a lot of false things that made my mom shocked and angry. But we had rehearsed before hand how she can keep her cool. She kept her calm and explained that all what the woman said was not true and even called her colleagues to testify to it. Everybody said one or two things about the matter to make the woman understand that she had been lied to. Right in front of everyone there, that my mom's Friend stood up and was openly confronting my mom, saying she was a bad and wicked person that she only wanted her boss all to herself so that she won't relate or help any other person but her. I was shocked when I heard all she said, because it's not like the woman was the one paying my mom's salary neither is she giving her an extramoney that would want my mom to 'keep her to herself' according to the woman. I was so angry after hearing all that happened at the office. It seemed to me that the woman had just intentionally wanted to humiliate and disgrace my mom.
When my mom was talking yesterday, I could visibly see her anger and pain but I tried to calm her down and when she was about to start cursing the woman, I told her there was no need for that as it is better to leave such people to the hand of God and allow God to deal with such people. There is no point raising one's blood pressure because of those people sooner or later the truth always triumphs and jealousy, hatred and falsehood always result to open shame.

So sorry I wasn't able to post any article since morning. This was sure to the fact that we don't have power supply since yesterday and there was no where I could I charge my phone. I had to wait till this evening when the generator was put on in my neighbors house before I could charge my phone. I think it's high time I got a power bank because it doesn't even seem like the power will be back any time soon due to the rain that has been falling non-stop since morning.

I decided to write this article after reading a prompt on @Kushyzee channel. It's actually a challenge to write what you once believed in but dog really think it's feasible anymore or what you think should be but can't be because of a reason or two.
What I have stopped believing in?
I used to believe that education is power and key to wealth
Growing up, my mom make sure that I and my sister take our education as serious as our breathing. She would say it will give us power to be what we want to be. Well, she isn't wrong, because education really helped a lot of people become what they want and it also made a lot of people rich. All you just have to do is graduate from the university with a good grade, then you will secure a lucrative job. I can vividly remember one of my aunt that graduated from a nursing school then, after her NYSC, she was able to secure a job as a nurse in one I think state government hospital. Her first salary was almost #120k plus other dividends.
But it isn't so anymore. Infact, if you don't take time and engage in some side jobs or skill acquisitions alongside with your education, you might be surprised to find that you have successfully wasted all years in school. Kushyzee said 'education is different from life itself'. Where education may equip you with some tools to face life, it take actual wisdom and personally development to make wealth and succeed in life. Education doesn't give you wealth, the best it will do is tell you about it and how to get some.
Apart from this, imagine a fresh graduate being asked by a company to go and bring 5 to 10 years work experience, where in the world do they expect him to get it? All this point to the fact education IN NIGERIA isn't power or wealth maker, wisdom is, planning is, and definitely wealth creation by oneself is!
I used to believe things come easily
Being the only make child of my mom and the only male child of my mom's extend family at that time, I was showered with a lot of gifts and attentions. Then, if I have just slight headache, everybody would be running up and down to get me anything I asked for. I guess I then thought life would definitely continue to be like that, silly me 😂
Omo, growing up to this stage, those aunts and uncles then will not even put a call across to check on me. And if I say I should call them, they will be telling me not be angry that they haven't call me and worst of all, I have one aunt that will use that my card to borrow money from me. It is well.
So, the bottom line is nothing comes free and easy. We say salvation is free, but remember somebody paid for it with his sweat, blood and flesh. People use to pray a certain prayer in my dialect that there is space up there so God use lift to top to occupy that space, well I don't believe that. There is no space waiting for anyone at anywhere, you only create on for yourself! Let me site an example in the Bible; according the word of prophecy which Isaac had placed on his son Jacob and the 'supposed' curse that was on Esau, Jacob was supposed to be exceedingly richer than Esau (on a personal level not generational), but it turned to be the opposite. Infact, Jacob had to work as slave to a master and cunningly acquire properties for himself while Esau took his destiny into his own hands and worked till he became so great and wealth that the land could not contain him. Jacob thought he could appease Esau with some domestic animals and some money but to Esau they were peanuts.

So, life is not only about prophecies and prayer but also about working diligently in determination and God's grace. God isn't lazy so why should you be?
I used to think that people will behave to you the same way you behave to them
This one really broke my heart especially when it comes from people you don't expect. The Lord Jesus has rightly said that we should do good to others irrespective of their attitude towards us because he knows they won't do to you what you are doing to them especially when it is goodness. Sometimes ago, I would give my all to people around me but when I need one or things back and I turn to them for help, they will blantantly refuse even when they have it. One happened not quite long, I have the person many times before without demanding anything in return but I need just a small help from the person and though she has it, she refuse to help me and told me I must do something in exchange for it. So, I just took my mind from her side and source the help form other direction. Such person will still need my help some day and I will definitely help her, one to teach her a lesson and two because that is the Lord's commandment.
The point I will make here is, don't expect anything from anyone. If you doing good, continue in it, don't let anyone stop you from being good. Even when they repay with evil, continue doing good for in due season, you will reap it.
Let me stop her for now, my eyes are already heavy with sleep.

The internet and our society as been flooded with the excessive use of drugs and the involvement in s*x. Sometimes ago, drugs pushing or abuse and s*xual acts are done in the secret. Those involved in these acts don't dare come in public to say they do them as the society will castigate, reprove and instance itself away from such people. But today, we see this thing been proudly displayed on the internet, social media platforms even on advertisement channels. So many drugs have been created to 'boost' the libido and s*x drive of people who don't even have any problem relating to this but just will just take it to feel among or 'show' their partner that they can go many rounds.
The materials circulating in the society now only encourage money, sex and drugs. Tell me why we won't witness increase in ritual killings, in rape cases, in death and medical conditions resulting from the abuse of drugs? What we don't know is that all these is not only affecting the present generation, it's always destroying the next generations to come. I was on a telegram group when some was reporting a case of a girl 8years engaging in s*xual acts with her neighbor. It was discovered that she has been sexually active since the age of 6! When asked how she knew about intercourse, she said she saw it on her mother's phone and decided to practice it!
There was another case of some young teenager I wrote about sometimes ago who lured and killed their girlfriend fro money Rituals. Boys the age of 15 already have the Knowledge and audacity to lure and kill their fellow agemate for rituals. The girl too, was exposed enough to become a girlfriend and left her parents house to go for pleasures in a hotel? This shows the decadence and rottenness of our society.
So, let me seek your opinion oh ye reader, **what do you think is the major cause of these happenings in our society?**

Recently, I saw a article written by @King_son where he share a new about the death of an Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) ile ife, Nigeria and the comatose of his girlfriend. It was said that the duo were engaged in a s*x marathon and the guy had taken a powerful sex drugs to enable to go rounds of intercourse. Though some other sources said it was generator fumes which has seeped into the room where the two of them were that led to the incident. According to the post mortem result said to be carried out and Looking the position that the two were found (the girl was found fainted on top of the guy with the guy already dead underneath but his hand still remained on the waist of the girl. I guess he took some evidence of his actions to the grave right? 😂👻), It can be deduced that the whole event was as a result of drugs which the guy had taken to experience maximum pleasure. Well, I guess he is satisfied now in the grave.
Still speaking on the danger of drugs, sex and love of money, a guy posted a funny video which though was hilarious, it's actually calls for deep thought. So, the government is against drug abuses but still certifies some drugs which are termed illegal. The mentioned some drugs but I really don't remember their names. The common ones are cigarettes. It is boldly written that ***smokers are liable to die Young*** but the government certifies to be distributed and circulated in the society and people loving pain and death than comfort and life will still take It. Anyways, I am not here to castigate anybody rather I call for sanity and sanctity.
Let the society awaken out of it slumber and act against all these subtle killers killing our youths, destroying homes and life of the innocent ones, rendering destinies and dreams useless. We need to arise and say No to drugs and other illegal acts. If we continue to fold our hands and watch things go like this, we will eventually become fugitive in the very home where we live. I read that Boko Haram fighters are actual drug addicts, most cases of rape that we hear of are committed by people who have seen one or two things on the internet and decide to try it out. A man was caught pant down with his own very daughter and he said he saw a child p**n some where on the net🙆🙆 another was caught slaughtering his neighbor and when asked he said he used to watch some killings on the TV and decided to try it in the real world to get the feeling! All this is a clear indication that society as we know Is not okay, all is not well with it. Don't say that because you don't do drugs or engage illicit acts that it doesn't concern you, the victims of rapists and killers and ritualist are as innocent and faultless as you. So don't keep silent, let sensitize the youths and our younger ones in the way we can. I pray God heal the world, amen

It's no longer news that the Nigerian presidential election is around the corner. This will remove the incumbent president and institute a new one. We, or should I say am really looking forward to the end of this evil tenure. This present government under the leadership of Muhammadu Buhari as only plunged Nigeria into a state of chaos, blood shed, insecurity, banditry, tyranny, famine, rise in the poverty index among so many others. To be honest every sector of the country is a mess. Even the educational sector which was supposed to be at the forefront of the country's most Paramount sector is quietly bleeding and if care is not taken, education will no longer matter in this nation. I remember when we resumes for the first semester, at the very middle of the semester very few students resumed to take their academic pursuit serious. Other students didn't bother to resume as some have become big time internet fraudsters, some have secured legal jobs paying them well, some have become wealthy through innovations and the rest hence they didn't see the need to return by to school after a prolonged strike by ASUU.
Presently, the Academic body (ASUU) is still on strike and has even extended the strike by another 12weeks. The most annoying thing is the government behaved indifferent to the cries of the academic union and the students in general. In my state, Ondo state, some soldiers and navy personnel were dispatched to the site where the student Union were holding a peaceful and well organised protest. They started shooting at the students and were shouting 'go back home'. This is the current state of the Nigerian academic sector.
Who are you going to vote for?
Since the beginning of this year many politicians have to come out to show interest in contesting for the seat of the president of the federal republic of Nigeria. Despite the fact that the APC party raised their presidential form to a whopping sum of #100million, at least 20 candidates have purchased the form. This shows that there is money in this nation but it been hoarded and restricted to the very few people in power. Mind you most of this people contesting are holding government position either by election or by selection. Take for example, the vice president of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, is also vying for the seat of the president but has not let go of his current office.
Another annoying thing the aspirants are doing is that they don't even show any interest in the struggle between the government and the academic union. No one has come out to say anything or offer any help in the matter. All they are concerned is the race to become the president of Nigeria. They are indirectly telling the Nigerian youth and the academic union to go to hell for all they care. Some times, I really wish I have some kind of superpower or that I can create a powerful militant group, I would make sure non of them remain alive peacefully. These people have the money that can even pay the debt Federal government is owing ASUU they just won't do that. Okay imagine 20 people (definitely more than that) paying #100millon each, that's #2 billion naira! This could pay part of the debt Federal government is owing ASUU, but no, they won't help the students atleast non of their children studies in this nation.
Not to deviate too much from the topic jare, so the election is near, who would you vote for (P.S: DON'T TELL ME JESUS CHRIST O😁 He is already king of kings 🙌🙌🙌)

A mother's love shattered
*Hello famz,*
This morning was a bit cold due to the rain that fell in the midnight. I was shivering on the bed this morning and had to stay a little bit in the bed and wrapped my self in the blanket before getting up in other to get some warmth. I guess the whole creatures are also feeling cold 'cause, when I opened the door, our dogs were just huddling together in one corner, trying to get warmth from each other. And NEPA being NEPA, decided to seize the power supply. It has become a normal thing that whenever rain falls, don't expect power supply. I guess they are drying the wires or are the wires also feeling cold?😂
Mother's love
I was watching a movie sometimes ago when someone defined a mother has some who takes care of a child (not necessarily hers) and showers such child with love and compassion. The person said any woman can give birth but not all women that has given birth are mothers. I think this true as there are many women out there that have given birth to many children but don't care about their upbringing or about their survival. Using the case study in ***Faceless*** as an example, some women just continue to give birth for reproduction sake. They don't plan not take responsibility for the child, they don't even know what the child is going through, and they definitely don't care about the future of such child. Such child at the end of the day ends up on the street. He/she learns the way of street, get indulge in things that are immoral and illegal and at the worst end, may either become a victim of murderers or become the murderer. This is indeed one of the major challenges any society can face.
But for the really mothers there, those who really take their time to nurture, protect, provide, educate and pray for their children, I say a big thank you ❤️🙏🙏 It's not easy I tell you. Especially if such mother is a single mom, shouldering all the responsibilities of raising a child alone. It will come to a point that the load of responsibility will be too much on her and she may become quite weaken, tired and frustrated but she will never give up. She would continue to pump more energy and resources just to see her children Excel and become what they Want to be. But despite all these, some children are just inconsiderate and ungrateful to their mother.
When I woke up this morning, I could hear a daughter raining abuses on her mother. This woman is one of those women you would truly call a mother. She has sacrificed a lot for the success of her children. She has deprived herself of so many benefits and pleasures just to see her children Excel and become the best version of her. But her daughter just seems to be blind to all these motherly investment and pain. She chose to only think about the present and forgets that without the past, the present can never come. I decide to not just jump into conclusion, so I listened to determine what caused the action of the lady.
To my uttermost surprise, the reason for the displeasure of the lady was that she had informed her mother about a job interview she was invited to. The company that invited her for the interview had told her to come today, so informed her mom. The mom said she should careful as there are many scammers out there pretending to be prospective employers. And that was it. All hell broke lose as the girl's adrenaline shot up and was passionately raining abuses on her mother. She called her a vibe killer and one that doesn't want the progress of her child. She even said the mother is not supportive of her job acquisition because, according to her, the woman her mother gave her CV to as not replied to it. And the woman being a mother, though she was angry and was sobbing silently said ' I will not curse you and say any rash words against you. Because I don't want all my effort on you to go to waste'. The mother also say she has remove her hands from anything concerning that lady and won't even try to advise or plan with her again.
To be honest, I was really sad and angry at the same time. Why on Earth would a child attack her mother in such manner simply because she was trying to protect and advice her? It remember last month when I received a phone all from some one that had stopped on the road when I was in Benin. He told me is representative of HALO groups of company and that they special in product development and value addition. He told me to come to their company as they currently need models that can pose and take pictures with their products. He said the pay would be #5k (about $10) per product. Although, I am not the kind of person that just hear of a deal that seem huge and jump right in, I told him I have heard him. He took my number and we went out separate ways.
So he called and reminded me of the deal. He even said the post of supervisor was currently open and he would like me to have it. So, I grew more interested in it and decided to do my own research on the so called company. I told my mom about it and she said although it's a good deal but I should not jump into it blindly but I should rather do a thorough research on it. So, I called a brother that lives in the street where the caller said the company was located and he said he has never seen or heard of any company like that in that area. I explained what was happening to him. It was then he told me that they are thieves that would lure people with the promise of lucrative jobs and on arriving at the location they gave, they would strip their victim of all their valuables and if care is not taken, kill their victim. I was happy that I had received a first hand advise from my mom and had adhered to it, who knows, I might be dead by now.
Conclusion
Parents are our demi-gods on this Earth. We should holy them and show them that greatest respect. If the Lord Jesus told us to honor and obey our parent above even the pastors and other men of God. So, love your parents, cherish them, be a source of relief and joy to them not a pain in the neck!

Black heritage; Festac '77

Out of all the traditions, cultures and cultural materials around the world, it is a well known fact that African traditions and cultural materials stands out to be the best followed by the Chinese artifact (please all Chinese in the house, praise the Lord 😁😁). Infact there is a phrase that is associated with Africans and that is 'black is beautiful' or 'Ebony life'. The black heritage (cultural materials in this wise) is not only a pure work of art and cunning work of a seasoned artist, it contains the history, culture, stories, ability and technology of the African race.
During the colonial era, many this artifacts were catered away by the colonial masters (some would even say stolen). They were collected through various deceptive means such as exchange for a less value item like glass, forcefully taken from their owners and makers. Where the first point is made possible because of the then leaders (kings and regents), the second was through pure force and exploitation.
Festac '77
The Festac 1977 festival, the second world black and African festival of arts and culture (the first was held in Dakar, 1966), was a major international festivak held in Lagos, Nigeria. It spanned from the 15 of January 1977 to 12 of February 1977. About 16,000 participants were present at the event representing 56 countries of the African nation and countries of the African diaspora. It was the largest Pan-African gathering to ever take place. Other participants from various parts of were also present and did perform. Some of these includes; Steve wonder from United States, Gilberto Gill from Brazil, Bambeya jazz National from Guinea and so on.
