Happy Sunday to you all. Hope today's service was wonderful for those of us that went to church? It was for me as it is always a wonderful and joyful moment in the presence of the Lord.

Not to waste your time, the cryptoverse has evolved to a much higher dimension with the introduction of DeFi and the Web3 program. So, crypto holders and enthusiasts like myself can play and earn cryptos while they do what they like doing; whether it be playing games, walking, chatting or writing and article as the one done on this platform.

Although there are many games out there that can earn you cryptos when you play them in their server, I have only been able to play one and that was a mini game that required absolutely no fee but you phone and internet access. Although the pay was very small but it's continuous. The more you play and level up, the more you earn. Currently, I'm in search of DeFi games to play and I don't really have any one to waste my time on. So, if you have any please don't hesitate to name them in the comment section. Crypto to become legal in Russia

Denis Manturov, Russia’s Minister of Industry and Trade, said crypto legalization in Russia is only a matter of time. The government and financial authorities are already working on it, with cryptocurrency regulation actively being discussed by the country’s central bank and the finance ministry. Russia continues its pro-crypto path, although it was considering a crypto ban not long ago.

Terra legal team quits, more trouble coming 🤔

Terra’s legal team quit the company following the collapse of UST, according to several industry reports. Whether that was a reaction to potential legal liability is yet unknown, although reports have surfaced that Do Kwon may have to testify in front of the South Korean parliament. The vote on his hard fork proposal is currently underway, with yes votes leading early.

Bukele promoting Bitcoin to 44 countries (sort of) 🇸🇻

Nayib Bukele, El Salvador’s outspoken Bitcoin-friendly president, is hosting the annual meeting of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion. He made sure to promote Bitcoin around the meeting, even though it is not on the official agenda. Bukele is down on all of his Bitcoin purchases so far, but made sure to please his social media fans by promising them to “plant the seeds” for Bitcoin adoption in the participating countries.

So here is the summary of last week's crypto news this Sunday.

We’re wrapping up a quieter week with loads of news on the regulatory front, like Portugal’s plans to tax crypto and the European Central Bank targeting a CBDC by 2026. The G7 promised new crypto regulations soon, which could spell bad news for crypto. It will be interesting to see how that plays out with Russia legalizing crypto at the same time. 

Ethereum had good news, as the Merge is coming ever closer. Developers target August if everything goes according to plan and the Ropsten testnet merge works out as outlined. 

Terra is still battling the fallout from its collapse, with a vote on a hard fork underway. It seems like it will pass, but there may be more unpleasant news for Do Kwon on the horizon. You can’t take your eyes off this one. 

On the price front, there was consolidation after a catastrophic last week. Bitcoin is still on course for a record-extending eighth straight red week, unless a sudden Sunday rally brings some relief. Consolidation may be the best bulls can get right now, and it looks like 29K could at least be a local bottom.
