Top 15 contestants of the animal kingdom (cont'd)
We know of different kinds of horns, but which animal holds the record of having the longest and largest horn in the whole animal kingdom? According to the records of the guiness book of records (animal chapter), the award goes to the Asian water buffalo at a horn span of staggering 4-5 feets 13In. Albeit some breeds of cattle have been found to have much more larger ones. Example is the Six-year-old Poncho. He set the Guinness World Record for possessing the longest set of horns on any other Texas longhorn ever. The steer's horns were measured from tip to tip at 10 feet, 7.4 inches. In comparison, Ponchos' spread is more than twice the width of a concert grand piano. All the same, it is agreed generally that those of the Asian water buffaloes are consistent and unique.
Ever watched an horror movie with animals with large terrifying teeths? Ok, so what animal holds the record for the longest teeth in the animal kingdom. (Note: the canine families are meant here): the African elephant wins the medal for this. It's follows as the first land animal and second animal in he whole whole animal kingdom after the Narwhal (an aquatic organism with a long spiky tooth), to have the largest and longest teeth. The tusk of an elephant are actually incisors growing right from the jaws fixed in the skull of the animal. It grows throughout the lifespan of this animal and can reach a staggering length of over 13 ft. But speaking of animals with terrifying teeth, the hippopotamus holds this record has it teeth can grow to a length of 2ft. It should be noted here that the hippopotamus though an herbivore has one of the biggest and strongest canine of the animal kingdom. It also holds the record for one of the animals with highest bite force. It is also a very very aggressive animal and will fight to the death when challenged by an opponent. So, you don't want to mess with this animal, when you see it charging towards you, the least you can do is run up a tree! The red faced baboon is also know to have terrifying teeth that can cut very deep into flesh. The lion is known to have one the very sharp and strong teeth of the animal kingdom as well.
I know you must have watch a lot of sci-fi movies with animals of weapons of massive destruction, but do you know one actually exist in the real world? This animal is a small animal found in most rain forests. It is no other than the BOMBARDIER BEETLE! This insect can release a very hot noxious chemical from it abdomen which it sprays on it opponent with it a popping sound (like a machine gun) as a defense mechanism. It is said that this is one of those animals that didn't completely under evolution hence still retains this machinery. Watch it action below👇
You can learn more of it details on YouTube.
Up next: world's fastest swimmer: This record goes to the Sailfish. It can reach a speed of about 70m per hour. It is faster than the world fastest sailboat.
Dogs are know to be easily trained and smart in some ways, but animal holds the record for world smartest animal? Actually, we have a tie here and I will love it if you will give your voting for the animal you deem the smartest. The dolphins are know for their extraordinary high IQ with some even equipped with Sonar sounds (echo communication), but there are two animals holding the top smartest animal pushing the dolphins to third position. These two animals are the orangutan and the chimpanzee. Orangutan share at least 95% of man's DNA and that they choose to live up a tree in s forest doesn't mean they are stupid at all. Infact they make tools of their own from stones, dry sticks and so on. They take care of their little ones more like a human does and have devised great communication language. The chimpanzee on the other hand are also highly intelligent and can be trained (more like educated) to read and even write. They can identify colors, paint, sing, and even develop amazing things like mini equipments. I believe they have this edge over the orangutan side they are more closer to humans in terms habitation than the orangutans are. Also, chimpanzee are much more great to look at unlike the orangutans that are somewhat ugly. So, who are you voting for? Do let me know in the comment section.

We have successfully completed the first 10 contestants, remaining just 5 move to go. We'll be unveiling them in my next posts. But for now let's go to the ring.
Match: A jaguar meets a lone crocodile by the water hole. Who do you think will win of they both battle it out. (Note: the Crocs are great swimmers and a much more efficient hunter in water using their death row techniques. The jaguar are also very strong fighter with a bite force that can shatter the skull at a bite.)
Woww, you are now going on to higher level! Anyway. I think the Jaguar will win the match if they're not in the water. Knowing that they are strong, agile and wild at the same time, crocodile won't be a good much for it for it is slow when on land. But when they're in the water, I think the crocodile can have a great advantage.
