The power of emotional memory (EN)
I'm going to try to project some ideas about "emotional memory".
With its structure deformed by a rigid belief system and overly structured sociocultural mandates, with dogmatic impositions that enter the psyche at a very early age and remain anchored in the amygdala for life, triggering emotions, sensations and primitive feelings over and over again, lacking the most elementary intellectual elaboration, which undermine the existential area, marking perimeter limits, almost always coinciding with fears and insecurities, until they lead to panic disorders and/or deep depression.
The elaboration zone of the present is based on a predetermined programming and on distorted recordings of its past, to end up projected in a dispersed and inharmonious way in the future. Fleeing from displeasure, pain and death, becomes the goal, and "stress", the means to achieve it.
This causes the residues, the sediments of "old battles" to surface, injecting adrenaline and other dopamines into the blood that alert, alter and twitch, making existence a vicious circle, full of insecurity, darkness and mistrust.
All those unhappy experiences of the past are somatized, perceiving them in the present as latent threats and not as memories. The lack of elaboration and sublimation of such memories makes them harmful due to their influence on the here and now of the subject who suffers from them.
This is how resentment, resentment, rage, compulsive anger is born in the face of remembering acts or events, people or places. The word "resentment" literally means "RE-FEEL" That is, "I WILL FEEL AGAIN" which encloses the individual in a dangerously reduced and lethal circle, who, alienated and convicted of his own experiences, denies himself the possibility of projecting himself into the future, not accepting the past as the set of formative experiences, a severe learning discipline that over time transmutes errors or unfortunate events, turning them into wisdom that expands consciousness and discovers the true paths of the Being.
The way back, liberation, is found in detachment, in realizing that the accumulation of negative feelings exerts an equally harmful influence on the harmony that should exist between spirit, mind and body. It is essential to let go of all those situations, people, places or things that stop us in time, immerse us in chaos and delay us in our personal evolution.
Staying stuck to all this makes us paralyze, we stop the flow of our energies and accumulate karma in our life, we move away from our purpose and lose the course towards the realization and elevation where we are inexorably heading.
