I promised to my dear friend @KrisCastro that I would show the beautiful churches in Santorini, Greece. So here is a #ThrowbackThursday from 5 years ago, when we visited Santorini and were blown away by the huge number of churches around the island. Including Orthodox & Catholic churches, cathedrals, roadside chapels, religious monuments or monasteries, 'it is believed that there are more churches than residential houses on the island'(they say) with more than 600 churches of all shapes and sizes. Unbelievable right? Here are only 5 of them I've picked out but there are still 595 to show you! 😁 #Dana📸

595? Wooaaahhh! You took a photo of it one by one? You are amazing Dana. Santorini, Greece is such a beautiful place. It's so neat to look at with blue and white is all around. I couldn't wait to see again a photo with sunset or sunrise over there. :)

Yay! You really remember me. Thanks 😁 Looks like the structures there are blue and white themed. These churches are really big and I love their location where you can enjoy the stunning view of the sea. Omg 600 that's so many. Did you really took photos of all those 600? 😲
Phy, i didn't know that this fsmous place, always flocked by tourist has a lot of churches around...people must be really religious here...they look all amazing and they are all uniformed in color together with the houses and the sea
