I promised to my dear friend @KrisCastro that I would show the beautiful churches in Santorini, Greece. So here is a #ThrowbackThursday from 5 years ago, when we visited Santorini and were blown away by the huge number of churches around the island. Including Orthodox & Catholic churches, cathedrals, roadside chapels, religious monuments or monasteries, 'it is believed that there are more churches than residential houses on the island'(they say) with more than 600 churches…

The real protagonist of Tuscany. 🍃 I have already told you that in Tuscany not only good wines (such as Chianti wine) are produced but also the extra virgin olive oil. The other day I photographed these olive trees on a farm, near where I live. They say it will be an excellent year for Tuscan olive oil. Yay! The harvest traditionally begins from mid October to mid December. I can't wait for the freshly pressed olive oil. Yummy. #Dana📸

Best seat on the plane. After many times on an airplane, chilling & resting above in air it still amazes me. And flying in a slight cloud formation is one of the very enjoyable parts of flying. It's like we are suspended high up in the atmosphere. Clouds are so soft, like cotton candy. That moment when the airplane pass through clouds. What a beautiful view out the window. #Dana📸

Gazania splendidissima for Tuesday! I took these pictures at the beach, where we spent the weekend. I couldn't help but notice these gorgeous Gazanias that mother nature placed in front of me. Last night we had dinner in this Japanese restaurant. Sushi for dinner? Yay! What a great surprise, it's been a while since the last time I ate japanese food. I love sushi, and salmon is my favorite topping. I love the perfect harmony it has with the flavor of rice, soy sauce and wasabi, simply delicious! Thank goodness it’s easy to find a good sushi restaurant anywhere in Florence and there are always new dishes to try. And you, what did you eat for dinner? #Dana📸
